  1. One of the main things I hate about the G2 is the lack of Rahi. looking at these, I can't seem to understand why they wouldn't make Rahi. These are great! and I bet that with TLC's resources they would be able to make even better ones! <_<

But that's off topic. I really like these. Especially the Ice Rahis :3

Well, that's what Lego is for right? Being creative!

  2. Not gonna lie, Luke does not look good at all. His head just looks like it came from the uncanny valley, and his entire body looks too robotic. Not to mention his joints aren't properly covered like Vader's.

SPEAKING of Vader, he looks absolutely fantastic. A consistent color scheme, Good armor coverage over all, the joints are well hidden, I can't see too many problems with this figure cosmetically. I feel like they probably put more time into developing Vader compared to Luke. I would definitely skip out on Luke, but I would pick up Vader for sure.

  3. Skull Warrior and Mask Maker vs Skull Grinder are my favorites. Skull Warrior looks the most fleshed out and finished to me, and I also think it has the best color scheme. I'm getting the latter set mostly for Ekimu and the Mask of Creation. The on thing that kind of diminishes how these look is the prototype pieces. Those rough textures just look...blegh. I honestly will probably only buy a few of these because I'm not made of money, and I have limited shelf space. Besides, right now I'm busy focusing my toy collecting on Amiibo.

  4. Out of curiosity, is there an old skool bionicle to ccbs constraction ratio? The character I want to make doesnt have his primary color readily available in ccbs. The understructure and most of the armor will be modern ccbs, but with some old skool parts attached to make up for the odd color...

This concern is probably why I won't be doing Kongu or Hahli, and I'll probably end up doing Nuparu, Jaller, or Vezon instead. I guess we'll just have to wait for an answer though.

I want a new body armour mold that's not two pieces, and if the budget of the theme is raised for next year I think we might get that.

Wait, are you saying you want a new single-piece body armor mold? Or one with more than two parts?

Personally I think the current method of armor with a shell and a shell detail is just fine. Mind you, I'd be open to a new torso shell or chest detail, particularly if they offered a dramatically different style and/or new connection points. But you don't need MORE parts to do that; just different ones.

I think it means like the old Bionicle limbs that don't have any sort of covering and the shape itself is the design.

I feel like that's a step backwards. It would reduce the customizability of the sets. I'd like if there more shells and armor details in more shapes. There's currently two full body armor plates, the one with the connector bars and the "classic" one, but I'd like to see more. Heck, I'd like to see more types of the other shells. And more details are always nice.

Actually, although the new sets don't use it, there's also the Breakout torso shell, which they could probably bring back if they wanted (though since it was last used in 2012 who knows how likely that would be). There's also last year's Chima torso shells, but I very seriously doubt we'll ever see those used again... But of course, there's also the ribcage shell the summer villains use. There's the most variety in torso shells, actually.

Shows how much I know about modern constraction. I lost interest in Hero Factory around the time of Breakout, and I never had interest in the Chima constraction sets at all.
