Considering I built mine in half an hour on the last night of the competition, I'm not the slightest bit disappointed. Great entries everyone, you guys deserved to win.

I don't think I want to do a 1:1, since i value the Jetrax mask over the golden mata masks. How a the Jetrax antroz mask for the gold kakama and, if you have it, one green miru?

Do either of you (or anyone reading this) have a spare antroz mask (Jutlin) that came with the Jetrax set? I have a few masks I'd be willing to trade, including but not limited to gold G1 toa mata masks, takanuva (both gold and glitter variants), and a bunch of kraata.

I do have one, so I would be reluctant to trade it. Which gold Mata masks?

I think they donate, people might like to know what they're donating to. Do you have a set design you can show us? (I can't fund this anyways, so it's no big deal.)

I built this a little while ago, and never got around to posting it. He has the 2015 gear function, and you can spin the lightning wheel independently of the gears. The transparent arm is intended to look like it is glowing with the power of electricity. I really liked using the Kylo Ren design, with a few changes, to make a Toa. It was fun to build using limits that encouraged me to think even more creatively about the character. Enjoy!

I have a lot if duplicate masks, and I think a lot of others do too. But there are a bunch that I just don't have, and I want. I was thinking that a person could make a list of what masks they have up for trade, and if someone wanted one, you would go to their list and pick out one that you want. This is not a topic to buy rare masks. 

example: I have three extra 2001 Haus. I post them in a list with my other duplicates. Member X wants one, so I go to his list and find one that I like. Over PM, we discuss shipping. A few days later, we each get the mask we wanted.

So, what do you think? I'm not sure if this is a great idea, but with a couple participants people could get rid of spares they'll never use and get masks they would have had to pay for otherwise.

I think this is really creative, and you still managed to get the whole thing to flow smoothly. It has a great color scheme and creative use of parts. You should try a version of him without all his collected stuff, even if it wouldn't be as cool.

After seeing Logan McOwen's cool work with gearboxes, I was inspired to give it a try. I had the set just sitting there, so I thought it would be a great test. With out further ado, I present, THE INDIVIDUALLY OPERATING GEARBOX!!!!! Just in case you didn't get that, you can move each arm separately. I just made up the name, I know it stinks.

Story: When Kulta knocked Ekimu away and reached up to put it on his face, a being formed, wearing the mask of creation itself. Beginning to duel Kulta, it soon became clear that Gruamorde would overpower him. However, as Kulta was at his mercy, Gruamorde showed weakness. Kulta snathced the mask from his face, disintegrating him. Ekimu then jumped and grabbed the mask before he could wear it, ending the fight.

Thumbs up for getting your mom to build Bionicle! I don't think I could ever get either my parents to do that.

It was not easy.

I agree with Marei. Give it thicker limbs and broader shoulders. Aside from that, add more white, the gold seems a bit overpowering.

It's actually got a lot going for it. I like where the chest was going. My suggestions are to make the shoulders quite a lot bigger and to give it thicker arms and legs.

A toa of light that I just couldn't get to look right. Any suggestions?

This is amazing. I really like how you got the slope of the shoulder armor and added grebes while still keeping the build nice and smooth. I think you could work on the lower legs (that armor piece doesn't seem right) and I think the torso could be shorter. Awesome creation, especially at his time!
