I based him on the version 2.0. of him. Also, I'm glad you liked this version of your MOC, Voxumo.Which version of Valen if I might inquire, as the link isn't working?
And for what it is I quite like it, especially the custom torso. Almost like an alternate universe version of Valen since my story for Valen is that he comes from a species that acts as servants for the members of Axonn's species...
-
So one day, I was designing a torso. Then, I decided to build the torso around the image of Voxumo's Valen MOC, and make my own version of Valen (Original MOC's link: https://flic.kr/p/Cx6oPj).
Also, on an unrelated note, I haven't given an acronym to the name of the MOC yet, so all suggestions are welcome.
That's all I have to say about the backstory of the MOC and anything else about it. Anyways, onto the MOC:

Back of the MOC:

Feedback is appreciated, as always.

Might I ask, do you have any suggestions as to what piece I should try out on the shoulders?I feel like he needs more covering shoulder armour than crystal pieces, his shoulders also feel too far back and his upper legs could benefit from some detailing to cover the grey bone beneath.
-
OH HEY WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT A NON-MAKUTA MOC FINALLY DOES THAT MEAN I GET POINTS FOR BREAKING THE MOLD?!?!?So yeah, Teridax wasn't the only one where I adapted the feedback I received into making a new version of a MOC. Some things I tried to improve on the previous version were making the arms more armored, and to calm down some of the details a bit (especially in the upper legs).
Well, that's all I have to say really. Onto the MOC:
Feedback is always appreciated.

Welp, it's not a gold and purple Titan, which is a plus for originality. I have mixed feelings about this. I really like the constraction-built Mask of Control. I'm not really a big fan of the elemental energies, I don't know why, I just don't really like them.
-
Where the heck is that torso piece from? Also, I never really mention the photography in MOCs, but man it's fantastic here.
-
Thanks everyone for the feedback! I wanted to add that I wanted to give the previous version an "ignited" look, like the mask of Control was corrupted by anger and transformed Teridax's body to show his rage.
-
Remember when I posted my first MOC on the forums, Teridax the Risen? Well, after a bunch of Bricklink orders and a bunch of feedback, I've updated him quite a bit.
What I've tried to update in this MOC was to make the legs and arms proportional with the rest of the body. Speaking of the arms, I also wanted to bulk them up to (Thanks to Invisible for the feedback). I also got rid of the unnecessary purple on the feet.
Another goal I wanted to fulfill was stability (and we all know how fun THAT is with Titans). Let me just say that posing the first version of this MOC was a PAIN to do, and it still is with this latest version, sadly.
If you're wondering, yes, I did enter this into the Makuta Contest. And, yes, I know how cliche this looks, since it's just another red Titan with the Mask of Control. Fun fact actually: I made this update before the contest was even announced.
So, anyway, enough of my jibber-jabber, on to the MOC:
Also, a sort-of size comparison with my other MOCs.
Feedback is always appreciated.

My vote goes to Pohatu: Master of Nostalgia as well.

Uhh why don't I see mine on either polls? Was I supposed to post a picture with my entry instead of a link or is it something else?
-
So Wiriamu, would you consider that bulking up Matoro is a positive or negative thing?
-
Not to repeat myself, but did you read the entire post? It concerns the golden chest plate issue. Also, thanks for the feedback.

**Please read the ENTIRE post before clicking on the links (I know it's long, but please do it, it'll make sense).**
3rd MOC I've posted on here. Not entirely sure where the idea of making a corrupted Matoro came from. I just had my 2007 Matoro one day and decided to corrupt it I guess. Also, apologies to everyone for corrupting one of your childhood heroes. Also, another round of apologies concerning the MOC itself. For you see, the first picture has one chest-plate, but then all the other pictures have a different one. Reason why that the pictures are that way is I wanted to do a test on what chest plate would look better on the figure (because initially, I went with the Kopaka 2015 chest-plate on this figure). However, I had already taken pictures with the MOC with the Kopaka chest-plate (and I didn't at the time, had a skull warrior chest plate). Plus, I didn't want to go through a SECOND process of taking the pictures with a new chest-plate on the figure, and then uploading the new pictures to flickr (also, I'm on vacation, so I'm away from my MOCs), so I just wanted to say sorry for being lazy on this post. So, if you want to look at the better looking MOC, I suggest you only click the FIRST link. However, if you wish to look at the figure with the uglier looking chest-plate on where there's more poses, angles of the figure, and the skeleton, click on the other links. Anyway, onto the MOC:
Feedback is appreciated as always.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I have been doing some editing to the MOC thanks to your advice. Anyway, feedback from everybody else is appreciated.

So here's the other MOC that you probably saw in some photos of the first MOC that I posted on here. This is what my interpretation of what Ekimu would look like as a Toa. You could call this a self MOC, but I built this before I made my BZP account and actually named my account after this MOC (which is also my profile pic). Feedback is always appreciated, and without further ado: the MOC.

I haven't written the story yet, but I have created a Flickr account. The url is "Ekimu_Toa_of_Creation" without the quotes around it. Thanks for the nice feedback though, Junior Shark.

I have recently started being a MOCist (is that the term to describe a person who creates MOCs or is it something else?), so I apologize if my MOCs turn out not like really great ones other people make. I am reworking on this MOC as we speak (and I think I will finish it when I get the pieces from BrickLink and when the Summer sets come).
-
If I were to say some criticism here (if that's ok with you), a lot of Toa and the Skull Grinder have very short arms. I don't know if it was shoulders or something else, I'm just not a big fan of the short arms.
-
Thanks Ghidora. I didn't really know what else to use for the shoulder pads (but I may have an idea for it now). Once again I do appreciate feedback if anybody else has any.
-
I didn't know what else to use for the torso to make it more bulkier. You see, I forgot the existence of BrickLink after someone told me about it at BrickUniverse, which before that, I had to buy sets in order to get the pieces I needed for my MOC (for example, the main reason why I bought Onua, Uniter of Earth was to get those two purple skeletal plates). Like I said, I'm new to the MOC-making hobby. I thank you for your feedback, though.
-
So yeah, this is my first MOC I'm posting on BZpower (I first posted it on Flickr, which was the first time I ever posted a MOC online). This is my first "Titan" MOC, and the MOC I'm most proud and satisfied with. I apologize in advance if the photo looks fuzzy (like I said, first time EVER posting a MOC online). I will be posting the background story for this character and my other MOCs (which I will also be posting very soon) on the forums. Without further ado, Teridax the Risen.
I also apologize if you wanted more than just front views of the MOC. Anyway, I hope you like the MOC, and I do appreciate feedback, since I just recently began my MOC-making hobby.

Well it's been a while since I've posted a MOC on here now hasn't it. I guess multiple factors contributed to this like school and sudden lack of interest in MOCing caused me to take a little bit of a hiatus. But now I'm back, with an actual self MOC, a background and a new camera I got for Christmas.
First off, here's what the first version of this guy looked (keep in mind this isn't the actual MOC of this topic):
https://flic.kr/p/JwyJSU
Now here's what he looks like currently:

Quite an upgrade, if I do say so myself.

If enough people ask, I can provide the skeleton of the torso and and the legs.
As always, feedback is appreciated.
