  1. What I would rather have(and have wanted in bionicle for awhile) are collectible villagers. Simple builds, different masks and story. A nice little way to create a village and have some more characters. This comes with the fact that there were no villagers released in G2, only the protectors which were basically the Turaga.

  2.

I had always wanted crystal as an element until psionics was canonized, after which I have been staunchly opposed to the idea of so many elements.  The idea of having psionics—literal mental processes—as something wieldable by a Toa as an elemental power alongside actual physical things like stone and fire and air and iron struck me as entirely absurd, and shortly after its canonization there was a push for making inertia an element, which thankfully was never made real.

I get plasma, and even gravity to an extent, although in hindsight gravity makes only a tiny bit more sense than psionics.

yaaa, this too! psion toa have access to powers like mind reading and suggestion which if you didn't know were also, fancy that, kanohi powers! feel a little redundant yet? no other element does this (excusing the kanohi garai but that mask is a questionable mess as is) alongside the mentioned "isn't really a natural thing?? thing and it is kinda out of place.

Apparently all elements have Kanohi with that power, except psionics has like five different kanohi with its powers.

  3. EP is probably throughout all layers of SP and it is called the Core War. EP is also known to have been able to achieve sapience so that throws in a whole other factor in there. What if Energized Protodermis keeps the planet habitable and consciously split the planet apart in order to preserve itself as it freezes in space. Maybe it somehow needs life on its planet of habitation in order to survive and somehow makes sure through manipulation of the plate tectonics and running water streams that life stays on the planet. This could mean that it only creates earthquakes when it wants earthquakes.

  4. My personal canon is that the Great Beings are actually humans and are a group of like minded individuals who escaped the ongoing interstellar war between human nations and settled on Spherus Magna, sort of enslaving the native population and then doing experiments on them.

This is a lot like Takametru007's idea but a tad bit more specific. I also think that LEGO might actually have done this when the time arose to tie into their whole imagination and the power of the mind thing.
