i think it's because they might still have the 3D models of those characters from the HF animations and Glatorian adverts, and reused those for generic robot soldier characters rather than develop new designs

That is a very swish colour scheme, the design gives me vibes of V1 from Ultrakill, and maybe even a bit of Autobot Whirl in there too

plus the greebles look very cool, you can tell this guy is a robot

I gotta say, Ackar really does it for me. 

Sure, he's not the most complex set, but he's a nice little build, and gives me happy nostalgia for watching TLR on dvd, with my Glatorian collection behind me.

He's my "red one i had as a kid". And i like him for that.

i wanted to make a Nidhiki that wasn't a metru build (personally i  don't like the metru building style too much) and was visually different
