This is my sort of annual visit to BZP to see how things are. This site was one of my main stomping grounds when I was in my teens. Man the time has flown by. I'm freaking 30 years old now! It's pretty cool to see that this place is still going.
I picked up a Sega Game Gear in the local Goodwill last weekend, along with Sonic 2 and Pac Man at Value Village. Since I had a Gameboy that generation I have no idea what the good games are. Can anyone give me some recommendations?
Ok, I'll admit I was a bit worried when the series changed hands, but 343 made a game worthy of the name Halo. Already finished the campaign (Heroic), and it will be interesting to see where they take the series from there.
Found this set in a yard sale, in the box, partially assembled. Surprisingly only two pieces were missing, which I've already tracked down replacements and are on their way.
So I went to the Alderwood Lego store's grand opening. After being assigned to group 4 and waiting 45 minutes in line to get in, I found the 10231 Space Shuttle (Pictures coming when I get around to building it.) and headed to checkout. And there, at the register, I see LEGO coasters. Since I already had decided i needed some coasters I just couldn't resist picking them up.
This blog entry marks the return of an old feature in this blog, only things are going to be a bit different this time. Since it will be more of a "whenever i feel like it" feature than a weekly one, Internet Junk of the Week will now be known as:
FOR the LAWLS (Internet Edition)
So now, here is the pic, which makes less sense than this one*:
*On second thought, I don't think its possible to make less sense than that...**
