Ten year old me would have killed for those throwbot sets. Those were some of the last sets in the line before they switched to Roboriders. If I remember right. The throwbots used the same kind of throwing disks that the early Matoran bionicle sets used. Like bionicle, they had waves of six sets in a plastic container that kinda resembled a shuttle. The smaller throwbots could fit inside, and the container had slots to stick it on your belt to carry it around. Thanks for the nostalgia trip!

Some sort of royal dude who doesn't look very happy.

Didn't think this would happen so soon after Bionicle ended. Looking forward to seeing the new sets and whether or not the story is a continuation or a full fledged reboot.

Bionicle.com used to have a section called "The Buzz" which had a Ling to BzP and another fan site. I first found BZP through that page.

Can't tell you how glad i am to have a Lego store that much closer. the Belleview store is nice, but the traffic there can get pretty crazy. Going to have to make a trip down there next time i have a chance to check it out.

I ordered it the day the news was posted, and tracking says it just left Massachusetts. So it is shipping now.Even though they're listed, I don't think they'll be shipping out any sooner than the ones through Jinx (Mojang). If I'm wrong... Well then darn. Because I already have it preordered. ~|ET|~

I really want this set, but I'm torn. On one hand it would look awesome next to my desk, but on the other hand I just moved into my own place and moneys kinda tight right now.

Granted, but you end up walking into a tree anyway.I wish someone would punch me in the face.

Can't wait to see what they come up with. Even if its just a bucket of square bricks, it will still be awesome.

-On average, 100 people choke to death on ball-point pens every year. -In 1976, the 10 billionth gallon of "Coca-Cola" syrup was produced.-The very first bomb dropped by the Allies on Berlin during World War II killed the only elephant in the Berlin Zoo.-Only humans sleep on their backs.-The English word “girl” was initially used to describe a young person of either sex. It was not until the beginning of the sixteenth century that the term was used specifically to describe a female child.-Every member of President Teddy Roosevelt’s family owned a pair of stilts, including the first lady.

Can anyone recommend any good games for the 3DS? So far I just have Mario Kart and a few 3D NES ans GB games. Not really interested in Pokemon games, since I stopped playing Pokemon at Gold/Silver and already have the remake.

The first Lego set I remember getting was basically a brick bucket, but instead of being a bucket, the front was rounded off with a big plus shaped rubber thing that when you slid it across the floor, would pick up any Lego bricks off the floor. That thing was awesome.

Agreed. There are already multiple Bionicle related submissions, and if too many are posted to the site, it could potentially keep some of the original ideas from being seen. Not to mention that Hero Factory still seems to be going strong and could be sticking around for a while. Best way to help bring back Bionicle at this point is to keep buying Hero Factory sets so that Lego knows there is still a market for that type of set. That way when it comes time for Hero Factory to take a vacation, that style of building doesn't go with it.I consider it to be an abuse of the Cuusoo system. For one thing, Cuusoo is for original ideas, not canceled lines. Two, Cuusoo is for individual ideas, or at least was intended for that purpose. Again, not for canceled set lines. Even if this magically makes it to LEGO's review table, I don't see it passing on from there. It's too early on. BIONICLE could only possibly return years after Hero Factory has run its course, and not before.

That cannon arm looks like a bigger, beefier version of the 1.0 hero arm cannons. Hope they make it into the Recon builder.

I am currently cringing at the thought of whoever won that Sand Tarakava set not knowing the value of what they have, and dismantling it for parts.
Also, not a prize par say, but I remember back in the way old days of BZP, one of the first threads I ever posted on was someone who received the last orange Vahi through Lego Support when (I think) theirs became damaged or something. That mask was made from a different mold when they made the gold plastic version a few years later (Still have mine somewhere.)
