If not Brickfair, then maybe NYCC. Does Lego usually announce new lines around now? I've been out of the loop for a bit.

I'd say I have ~75-90% of all the sets. Missed a few of the earlier ones, especially in '02. I do have at least all of the canister sets from '06 onwards, as well as most of the titans from `04-09. Unfortunately most of the collection pre-`08 is disassembled, so I can't sort through it all and catalog what I have. Threw the canisters out in a move, too Hopefully one day I'll be able to sit down and reconstruct everything.

I enjoyed LoMN the most on a recent rewatch, mostly due to the music. I especially liked the score during Lhikan's death, as well as the Toa Metru transforming into Turaga.

Noticed this as well. Dug out Takanuva '08 and most of the joints have small cracks in them. The elbow joint was so cracked that it couldn't hold the arm up when it was holding the lance.

I lurked a ton before I took a break from the site. Used to love S&T, Comedies, and the Blogs when they were introduced. I made the occasional (cringe-inducing, looking back on them) post, but I'm hoping to contribute more now that I'm back.

Teridax is obviously a top pick, but I also liked Krika for his moment of "mercy" towards Gali. His set design was one of the cooler ones in 08, as well.

I'd probably get Tahu Nuva, as he was the only Nuva I didn't get AFAIK. Thinking about picking a used one up online somewhere.

I had an idea for the story that allows the past universe to still be mostly canon, but won't overwhelm new fans. Just skip ahead in time a bit, like toa kopaka said above, until everybody is peacefully living on Spherus Magna together, then have a new threat (the Element Lords?) pop up that requires the Toa to defend everyone again. Simple enough for new fans to understand, and still have the original story intact if they want to delve deeper into it. The post-2010 serials may throw a wrench into this theory due to them being unresolved, though.

Welcome back! I'm in the same boat as you and Guardian. Joined as a kid, (ugh, 7-year old me made some embarrassing posts) left after Bionicle ended. I'm also coming back due to the rumors of its return. Glad to see the community is still active.

My neighbor got me Lewa and two of the other Mata (I believe Gali was one of them) for my 4th birthday. I built them and fell in love with the line instantly. My mom still blames her for 10 years of BIONICLE fanaticism.

I don't really 'play' anymore, but I look at the new updates and occasionally log on to chat. In-game name is Caes.
Rumor: Bionicle's return in 2015

So, it was either a system glitch or Lego is trying to cover it up. Makes sense if they want the reveal to be a surprise for most.
Also, if it was a glitch, why wouldn't Lego just say it was?
