  1. Well now I can't buy one.

I had the highest bid and now I can't get it.

So sorry man! I sent you a message! We might still be able to work something out ;)

I just messaged you again. Hopefully we can work something out.

    Thanks

    MC

    Just replied! Thanks, MC!

  2. It seems most people are interested in buying these four masks as a set so I've ended the ebay auction. Any new inquiries can reach me through PM or my email: christiandegnpetersen@gmail.com (though i suspect these will be gone and in the hands of a new owner by the end of the week)

    Just sent you a pm!

Thanks! I just wrote you back :)

  3. I have but one question, define 'Vacuum Metal.'

It's a hard plastic krana with a sort of chrome finish, which I assume was applied through some sort of vacuum molding? I truly don't know where the term originated but if you look at pictures of these you can tell that they aren't really metal at all and I think they just got that name for convenience's sake.

I know you didn't mention them, but you don't happen to own any GPKK as well, do you?

    - :t: :l: :h:

Ha! If only! I had one friend who was in the proto squad (I remember I was a year too young to sign up at the time ((but like, who even would have checked.. I'm still beating myself up for not trying)) and had one (a Yo if I recall), but it got lost in his lego collection somewhere and was never seen again. Such a shame!

I sent you a PM here on BZP. Looking forward to the reply.

Just replied. Sorry for the delay!

  4. You are in Provo? I live just north of there and I could obtain these in person! Please let me know!

I am in Provo and would totally offer local pickup if you'd want!

The most recent people I've seen selling these have been fetching around 200 a krana, so for those of you asking about buying all 4, I'd probably be asking 800. I'd honestly like to see how much this can fetch on ebay, but if any of you are serious about buying all four I'll surely consider it!

  5. Oh my god man. Long time no see. So happy to know you're still building! And blowing your old mocs I used to know and love out of the water! You've upped your game so hard! I have so many good memories of the manas and this does such a good job of encapsulating all the things i loved about them. I'm so impressed by the way you've compensated for the clunky boxiness of this set and turned it into an aesthetic strength. You've always been so good at integrating system elements with old school technic and bionicle in a way thats so uniquely "distorted" and it really seems to shine here! The gears sticking out of the back! The LEDs. The little greebles in the body! Man, you've always been one of my personal favorite bionicle MOCists, and I'm glad to know you won't be leaving those ranks any time soon! Never stop building, you've got a gift!

    Edited some typos ;D

WAIT, I'm editing this comment again because I somehow overlooked the function and now I am crying. This is just too good.

  6. Hello everyone!  :howdy:

It's been a minute since last visiting beautiful BZPower!

I'm making this topic because I have a handful of VMKK, and while I'd like to keep them, I have duplicates of a few and bills I need to pay. I'm starting off with the Bo just to gauge interest and to see if there is still a market for these, but I have three others I may list on ebay or sell here if there ends up being a demand. Crossing my fingers there are still collectors with unfinished Krana checklists!

Here's a link to the ebay listing. Hope you all have a wonderful day!  ^_^

Edit: It seems most people are interested in buying these four masks as a set so I've ended the ebay auction. Any new inquiries can reach me through PM

  7. I really like the "old" appearance and the additional accessories are cool. The details are great especially on the arms and legs. I can't think up of any cons so, nice job on this!
Believe me there are plenty of things on this I could have done better, but your compliment means a lot nonetheless. Thank you!
Very nice. Like FFIM said, you've done a good job here of portraying him as somewhat elderly through his pose and the details, and the tribal accessories you've provided fit the feel of 2001 rather nicely.
Thanks! I always liked how lego was able to make the sets look like little hobbly old people, so i wanted to get that same feel.
Oh, wow... I love this! Upon closer examination, I noticed that you included aspects from his Toa Metru form, mainly in the waist and lower legs. Lovely touch, that is. And you managed to capture the aged appearance, as others have noted, as well as the tribal-like details, while managing to keep him true to his set form. Absolutely brilliant work!
Thanks! Glad you picked up on those details! I was having a pretty hard time figuring out how to make a set with barely 27 pieces look interesting but still resemble the set, so I figured I'd try to portray some of those past incarnations. Thank you for the kind words!
