    Entry 1
Hello folks and welcome to my blog, Mostly Harmless, where I discuss about the crazy things that happen in my life.

I will post in three catagories:

Life- Entries about my life, and events that took place that day.

Universe- Things going on in BZP with me, good topics, artwork, comics, other BZP related things.

Everything- Anything else that is so random it does not fit in the above two catagories.

In the top left corner I will always post my mood status.

I look foward to bloging tommorow. Until then bye!

    Boy what a day!

I played in this summer band course with my old middle-school music teacher conducting the class, it was very nice to see all my friends again, and my teacher. We are playing two lame songs though. Spongebob Squarepants theme, and this other boring song that can't come to my mind at the moment. (Gypsy something.) I don't have anything against Spongebob, it's just I'd rather be playing Fanfares and fast tempo music than " ARE YA' READY KIDS?! " (<-Retorical question). I guess i'll just have to live with it considering we have to play some easy music for the people who are new to Concert Band that have just moved up from begginging band. Lame, but I digress.

Overall it was fun. Tommorow I'm going to help my teacher with the little begginers so they know what they're doing, thats always a sight to see because they are all so clueless as to how hard REAL music is, not that i'm not a fan of "Hot Cross Buns" though. ^^

After, that I went over to my girlfriends house and we had a water fight, we both got very wet. Then watched Lord of The Rings Two and Three. (great movies) Had dinner and then my mom came and picked me up.

    I think I had a pretty good day overall. Trumpet,Water,Movies. ^^

What a day! Can't wait for tommorow.

Yay, I had almost lost all hope for the next artwork contest. Well I am so entering, and I think I have some pretty good ideas. Mine went from numerous thought processes...

First I thought of a vehicle ad, then it went to a food ad, cereal, no, to corny. Then from food to something technological, I thought back to LOMN, and I thought maybe a telescope, such as Nuju's, no... but I was getting close, then it hit me! A _ _ _ _ _ and it will be in the style of _ _ _ _ _ _ art. ^^ (Not spoiling it, hehe.) But I will reassure you I think it will be awesome, and that as usual it will hopefully be a style of art that not too many bionicle fans are familiar with.

But I will leave you with one hint ( besides it being art. XD )

    My hint:

    » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «P I X A R
A very broad spoiler right. ^^

Sigh, every time around 10:50 PM, to 11:45 PM, BZP is always slow or down, I can never post, and this is usually when I post my entries, oh well I guess I have to deal with it... anyone else experiencing this problem?

Well I finally got off my lazy *you know what* and decided to Moc for once, I had an idea of this really cool head with spikes coming out of the back, in a brute sort of way. And I think Im going to use Kanohi Pakari's as shoulders along with two Visorak feet for the point to his tail.

Well here is what I have so far, not much, it is only his head spikes, but it's a start:

    His Head-Spikes.

Most of the pieces I'm using

Don't you hate it when you think theres something you KNOW you have to do, but you can't remember what it is that you have to and it bug's you ALL DAY. ><

Yes that's happening to me today...

I've been watching the Olympics again, like many others I assume. The one thing that ticks me off the most is the commentators. They have absolutely no idea what they're talking about, they think they can predict what's going to happen or how good they're going to do. They don't, and when they start talking down on a competitor that just bugs me and annoys me. I really wish there was an option to mute out commentary, they are just so lame.

    With that I have decided,

    = FAIL

Oh and if I have to hear about how great Michel Phelps is I will go insane ><

Other than that the Olympics are pretty cool. ( I really want to watch fencing )

    Tah, Tah!

    Wow today was funny ^^

I woke this morning and did my daily BZP routine. Posted some comments and then had breakfast, i think O.o , oh yea forgot about that >< Ok then, skipped breakfast and then took a shower. Scarfed down some chicken for lunch and I was off to band.

The beginners today learned three more songs, one including "French Folk Song." I didn't really help much, and when the session was over My teacher had to stop by home real fast to get some lunch, so he kicked me out (not literally). I sat on one of the high schools bench's played some Crosswords on the DS, and waited for my girlfriend and her brother to arrive for Concert Band. When they did my teacher had just gotten there so we wandered in and set up. We got copies of the two new songs we played on Friday, which was "Cavalry Trot," and "Amber Moon." I like the song Cavalry Trot, but playing it, is just really high, the dynamics are intense. goes from a above the staff A-flat sixteenth note to an above the staff G quarter note tied to a high C quarter note, In simple terms: High and Hard! >< Amber Moon is fun and a nice sounding Asian like song, and plus I have a solo in it. Sadly I didn't count and was a beat ahead, sigh... oh well. After we ran through the new songs, we played through the rest.

Then my Mom took forever to pick me up and I was sitting in the heat for a while. She finally came and we got home. Then left to go pick up my little sister from her friends house. While I grabbed a bite to eat (Nachos) I started to watch some T.V. I saw the funniest commercial. It was advertising for some Magic Carnival show out in who-knows-where, and I was thinking in my head: "Lame" until the voice on the T.V said this: "Free entry with your ticket!" I was laughing so hard. I mean I hope it's free to get in after spending $10.95 (not including tax) on some ticket. If you had to pay again after you bought your ticket I'd be a little worried.

Then my Mom got home later after going to the Library I guess, and she made dinner. After I ate, I talked on the phone, and surfed some BZP. Then decided to get out some Warhammer stuff. So I'm now reading the rule book. I've only gotten through the introduction and some squads stuff along with the dice section, other than that I haven't read any more of it.

Speaking of reading I have now finally finished Kite Runner and now have to read it a second time, and take "Copious Notes" on the book. Then of course there's the essay we write about on the third day of school, and the questions we need to answer as well. There's H10 English for ya' (They're lucky it's a really good book)

Well I'm off to read Kite Runner again, Tah Tah!

Today was a very long day. I went to band at 12:00am, and helped out with the little beggining musicians. They only really learned how to hold their istruments, which i helped out the Trumpets and showed them to hold it correctly. It's really common sence in my opinion, but then again I would be a hippacrite since I believe I held it wrong then too.

Then at 1:30 Concert Band began where we played a new piece called Patton which was a very nice March, that included some tricky 6:8 counting. then we played the usuall, Songs from Chicago, Tiajuana Brass, Gypsydance, and Spongebob theme. Then I went home and asked my mom, if my friend (Kotahn) could come over. She said yes, and we pretty much discussed about the majhost.com crissis, and other topics. Then watched Pixar shorts on Google Video. He left and we were deciding on what to eat.

I was disappointed at first when my mom utterd the word "El Pollo Loco". Blech. Then I had three Crispy Chicken tacos. They were Delicious! and I didn't even finish the third one I was so stuffed.

Then I went on the computer and worked on a filler for my comic. Then I had to read, and went to bed. ( at 12:00 pm.)

Pretty long day if I do say so myself.

Finally the moment I've been waiting for since it ended last summer, BAND CAMP! Woo!

Yes normally you'd be thinking, Band Camp? Why would you be excited for that? Isn't it just 10 hours of marching around in the blazing hot sun get yelled at by your drum major to do drills and exercises?

My answer to you is, yes. But! I also am no longer a freshman and have more authority, over people ( other freshman ).
I also get to see all my friends who I haven't gotten to hang out with in forever! I'm excited, it's so exhilarating when you get called to attention from your drum major, and all the inside jokes you come up with in your section. haha! Well I can't wait. It starts at 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. today, and then for the rest of the two weeks it's form 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. the first half is marching in sun, then lunch for a half hour, and the rest is learning music and sectionals. I can't wait!

Last year we played Songs of Steve Wonder, this year it Across the Universe.

Oh man, oh man! I am so happy, more about that later. ^^

First I wake up, and do some daily chores (feeding cats, and my fish, Marvin ( guess where I got the name from) ) Then I surf some BZP, I eat, and look over some of the Warhammer stuff I had read the other day. Took a shower, contemplated going to the Beginning Band today, because I didn't really feel like scarfing down a lunch today. Somehow or another, I'm in a car on the way to the Beginning band class. There, I helped some Trumpet beginner with note number 3 ( A natural ), my teacher makes an "easier" version of music for the Beginners, notes 1,2,3,4,5 starting with F natural, and ending with C. I helped him, by telling him to use more air support, and what do ya' know after actually using his lungs, he hit the note. ^^

Then I waited for Concert Band to start, then to find out my girlfriend got her permit today, because I guess she's driving a little bit on the way to Oregon, when they go on their trip next month. I really personally don't want to drive ( shocking, I know ) but I'm a little nervous. Anyway I should be getting my permit soon, ( yikes ) but my mom hasn't set a date to take me, and plus I still need to go over the Handbook one more time. Where was I....BAND! yes thats right, Well we set up and started to play through our music, I was very happy that ( excluding being flat ) I played my solo perfectly, (yay ^^) although it really isn't that hard of a solo, but it is nerve racking playing by yourself.

After band I went home and stayed on the computer most of the day, I made a new "Mostly Harmless" image ( if you haven't already noticed. ) Just a little glare effect and shadowed the text along with adding the word "Blog" at the bottom. after that, I had dinner, which was some pasta. Then went back to my room to read more of the Warhammer rule book. Suddenly my dad called me out to the office and gave me the "Letters from Iwo Jima" soundtrack that I have been looking every where for! Somehow he managed to find it, and now, guess what I'm listening too? The music is very elegant, and has an amazing Trumpet and Piano solo. This was just part of my goodness today ^^

Then while chatting with Dlakii via PM, I went to the homepage since when it was 10:00PM my time. The homepage changes because it's midnight BZP time. I was checking to see some of the updated hot topics only to find the most Mind blowing, awesome ( trying to contain the Newb-ish inner self ><)

    *breathes in and out slowly*

    Ok, I found this:

I took a double take, no actually I think it was a quadruple-take! I thought this could never happen to me, I would always see people getting them but not me. I gave up hope two years ago, but there it was sitting right on the the screen in front of me. I pretty much cried with giddy joy! ^^ Sigh...

and That my friends is why I am so happy, because for the next couple of days, every BZP member who goes to the homepage and scrolls down will see "Tahuri" in bold. ( sadly the T will be lowercase >< ) I don't care, it had finally happened. ^^

Alright thats enough for today, I'm now off to post the new filler for my comics.

Good day, Goodnight, and Tah, Tah!

Wow, today, what a day, probably the one of the scariest days of my life. Back to that soon.

First I'll begin when I woke up to my alarm clock at 9:00 a.m. not remembering why I had to get up so early. Oh yes! the beach with Kotahn, thats right. So I lazily trudge out of my bed, and into the shower. I eat breakfast, got on my trunks, packed, and we're off to pick up Kotahn. I get to his house and his older sister who is in collage lets me in the door, and I see Kotahn frantically running to gather his things, including some soup, because he hadn't eaten. (He just got back from Cross-country practice.) Then we packed his things in the trunk and we were off to the beach.

On the car ride there, we talked about random stuff, T.V., summer, family. Then we got there. Leo Carillo Beach.

We parked, got out and unloaded our stuff. After that we walked down a ways, ( about 45 feet from the car ) to find the entrance. Then my Mom said lets go back the other way to find a different entrance. Sigh, thats when it happened, my mom turned around while carrying a bag, and a chair, and tripped in a pot-whole. She fell on her knees, and just sat there, and slumped her head down. At first I thought it was just out of embarrassment that she had fallen, but then I asked if she was ok, and she didn't answer and then I knew something was really wrong, I walked over to her and asked her again and she just shook her head, I helped her up and she was standing for about 15 seconds just standing in place until she fell down again, then she screamed in pain, and I saw her ankle and I knew, Dislocated. I had no idea what to do, I'm asking my mom, do you want me to call 911? Should I get one of the Life guards? She didn't answer me, so I told Kotahn to run and get a Life Guard as fast as he could, ( Thank god he's the fastest runner on Cross-country. ) I stayed with my mom and waited for him to come back, my sister started to cry, and I had to try and calm her, I don't blame her for crying, I would too, If I had no idea what was wrong with my mom, and she was just crying in pain. I got my mom some water, for her, and she drank that. Then Kotahn finally ran back, and close behind were two Lifeguard trucks. Phew.

When they finally came, it was like a whole show, I told the Life Guards what happened, and they agreed that it was dislocated. Then my mom told Kotahn to take my sister out to the sand for a bit so she didn't have to watch. I stayed with my mom to make sure she was ok, getting the things the Life guards asked for. Then a fire-truck, red truck, ambulance and another Life guard car came up and all helped my mom. Eventually the friends we were supposed to meet up at the beach (my sisters friends mom's which were also my mom's friends. ) showed up and helped out my mom. they took Kotahn, My sister and I to the beach, while my mom went to the hospital, I made sure my mom would be ok, and then I told her good by as she left in the ambulance. I called my dad, of course my luck he was in a meting at Warner Bros. So I had to leave a message, once my mom left, Kotahn, my sister and I went down to the beach with my mom's friends. We planned it out, since one of the parents rode with another parent, she would dive us back in my moms car so we could get the car back. ( That was probably the second luckiest thing that day, next to having Kotahn there to help me. ) After we got all that situated Kotahn and I went back to the car to get the food we had packed for lunch. and happened to take a picture of the pot hole as well. hehe.

After we got back to where we were sitting on the beach, me a Kotahn ate lunch, and talked about random stuff, Life, BZP, ideas, jokes. I kept a keen eye on my sister like I promised my mom, and I kept checking my cell to make sure I hadn't missed a call form anyone. Later after taking pictures and relaxing in the sun, my Uncle called and gave me the info about what was going on. My mom had apparently fractured her right angle on both sides of it. Sigh... I felt terrible. Luckily he said she was ok, my dad was with her which made me feel a lot better.

After that we stayed at the beach for a couple of hours, and then went home. After getting home, I gave my sister a shower, and then I told Kotahn he was staying for dinner for all of the help he did. I ordered pizza. It was good, then we played Wii ( MarioKart.) Then he went home because I had to put my sister to bed. Finally mom and dad came home, and my mom was on crutches. Lets just say she doesn't like them. It looks like I'm going to be taking care of her for the next couple of weeks while her leg heals. Sigh, oh well, on a happier note my girlfriends back from vacation and I get to see her tommorow. yay!

Well, I'm off to rest I have a head ache and I'm very exhausted, and I smell like saltwater. Scratch resting, I'm taking a shower.

    Tah, Tah!

    Sunday October 5th

Funny stuff. I crammed in my homework after having Marching band practice yesterday, which wasn’t much fun but my solo is really improving. Well after I finished most of my homework (except for English) I was watching some TV. When I got a call from Kotahn. He misheard our cool dude English teacher and though the two stories we had to read (Po Poh Vu and Genesis) were in our small “interactive reader” and not in our big book. All in all he brought home the right book, and I had the one he needed, and since only living about not even a mile away he asked if I could come over and he could get the note to take. I figured since I hadn’t done the homework yet (ironically) that I would just come over and we could do them together. So once I met him halfway, between my house and his, we walked back up to his house and started the notes. Well the first story, Genesis, was a complete waste of time, since it sounded almost exactly like the last story, The Epic Of Gilgamesh. So me and Kothan just took notes and cracked some jokes about it here and there. Then we got to the “best” story of them all, Po Puh Vu, sigh what a book. It starts out explaining that first the earth was created as a giant barren wasteland and then God, and some other guy decided that they would create animals, then they tried to create humans. Well in the process of creating us they made Mudmen that completely fell apart and then they made woodpeople. Well neither of these creations were any good or close to humans, because they lacked, flesh, organs, and bodyparts, Remember that. Well in order to destroy them they sent out these Jaguars to basically eat their flesh, eyeballs, and drink their blood, which they supposedly Didn’t have, go figure. Then something about planters and they decided to make humans out of corn and that we would all come from corn seeds, and thus the four perfect humans were created. Jaguar of _____, Jaguar of _______, Not right now ( yes that was the actual name, Not Right Now.) and Jaguar of ______. The other blanks I don’t remember because I don’t have my book with me at the moment. Finally we finished the strange book and I was asked to stay for dinner. Then after I got home I was taking out the garbage and herd this werd sound, “quack” “quack” “honk” “quack” “honk” and for some reason I herd geese like two houses down, at like 10:00 PM, I have no idea and it was the strangest thing ever.

    (fast forward Three days.)

    Thursday October 9th

So today is thankfully a holiday from school and I get to sleep in. Then I went Ice skating, it was very fun, then I worked on some stuff for my blog.

    Friday October 10th

For some lame reason we go to school for three days then have one day off (yesterday) then to come back to school for just one day (today) only to have two more days off (the weekend) LAME. Anyways I had lame school today, then I had Marching practice. We got two new songs today, Gimmie some lovin’ and our our new drill to the third movement (which we aren’t learning until next practice.)

    Saturday October 11th

Today was my girlfriend, Sarah, surprise 16th birthday party. She was so clueless and thrown off it was so funny. First at around two she was dropped off at my house and she hung out until four, we pretty much played scrabble and played with my little sister, then her mom needed to pick her up because they were “meeting her grandma for dinner” but she needed to stop for gas first. As they made a stop for gas I raced over there and was ready for the surprise, she walked in the garage door and as greeted with a huge “SURPRISE” by about 20 people. Her face, Priceless. ^^ overall she had a great time and party, and she really enjoyed all her gifts. (I got her treble clef earrings to replace the ones she lost in a parking lot.)

    Skip Sunday…

    Monday October 13th

Today pretty much was terrible except for ONE thing. First there was a fire one city down so Simi Valley due to the winds got the ash and bad smell (and eventually the fires). Ugh, was terrible and I still had marching band practice on top of it, along with a lame orthodontist appointment. The only good thing our of it was that I got a B on my Algebra II test. Very nice.

    Tuesday October 14th

Fires, smoky day at school, and flying helicopters…

    Wednesday October 15th

It’s my girlfriend’s actual birthday today, and she was surprised with balloons and roses by yours truly. ^^ I think she could have done with out the lame PSAT today though, along with the entire rest of the Sophomore class. >< belch three hours of boredom. I had a freezing classroom, she was the German/Spanish teacher and she was way overly exaggerative. Some girl had her cell phone go off in her backpack (which we all had to put in the back of the room) and the person who called left a message so the phone would beep like every ten minutes not to mention the person calling three times didn’t help, but the teacher wouldn’t let her turn it off because she might “cheat” then have to be disqualified. Ugh! Lame, I knew the girl, she was in my English and Geometry class last year, I highly doubt she would have cheated. Oh well I just sat there hitting the number 5 button on my graphing calculator (since I don’t have any games on it sadly…) just to occupy me. Boring!

That’s all that’s happened over the past week, now I about to do my homework, and then work on my trumpet solo which is sounding sick and amazing, we have a football game to go to, but we have to be there at like 3:45, so I’m just going to stay at school, because one of the middle schools plays in the stands with us so they can see “how fun” marching band is, and hopefully they’ll join next year as a 9th grader. Then on Saturday we have our first competition at Royal, and I will wow the judges with my awesome solo in our second song, yea! Haha. ^^ Can’t wait.

    Entry 58
I always anticipate certain events. The first day of school happens to be one of those certain events.

This year I fell asleep right away after making sure everything was prepared for tomorrow morning. (lunch made, backpack set, alarm set, etc.) Just so I could wake up, shower, eat, surf a little BZP ^^ and then be done.

Thankfully thats exactly what happened. Although I did not intend waking up to the sound of my dad's alarm which was 3 minutes before my alarm was to go off so I lost three whole precious minuets of sleep! ( Once you enter High school you'll understand that even just one minute of sleep can do wonders ^^ )

Once I showered and everything my dad and I left to school (7:25 a.m.) About not even a half a mile from my house Kotahn calls me up on my cell and tells me we have our first period together, Win.

I get to school and it's so funny to see all the Freshmen walking around all confused in little packs, they make it look so obvious that they're freshman. ^^ Anyway, so I walk into the gate of our school and ironically I bump into my favorite English teacher Ms. Itow who I had my freshman year. She is the most amazing English teacher EVER, no question. She did everything on a projector, all or work was discussed on powerpoint slides, you have no idea how awesome it is to have a technological savvy teacher until you have, it's awesome. Enough about Freshman year back to the start of Sophomore =P

So I go to my locker and put my things and such in there, then wait for Sarah, my girlfriend, to arrive, she does, and we go to her locker. Then we wander off the the "Pioneer Board" thats in the center of our school with all our first periods listed, I double check mine, and Kotahn was correct we have Mrs. Mjoen for first period. The bell rings and I say farewell to Sarah and I'm off to my first period. I walk up to the door and am greeted by a 6'5 woman with glasses with really long boney fingers, yes already this description is very creepy. To be honest she's not that bad, but everyone will agree she is crazy, trust me.
I walked in and sat down in alphabetical order. (Luckily me and Kotahn have generally the same last name initial S and V eh, well semi close.) we talked a little but not as much. We got our schedule and later on the bell rang.

    1. English Honors 10
    2. Concert Band
    3. Genreral Biology
    4. World History I
    5. Spanish II
    6. Algebra II

    Second period...

I hate second period it's concert band, and lets just say I didn't get moved up to Wind Ensemble. ( Of course I choose the most competitive instrument >< ) So I'm not discussing it.

    Third period...

Second period I, yes I chose General Bio, it was my decision to take it, no not because I'm dumb and got placed there, I just wanted to have at least one super easy class I didn't have to worry about. So when I say general bio, it really is GENERAL Bio. >< oh well easy A for me. nuff' said.

    Fourth period...

Forth period is History, my teacher is rally cool and laid back, it was very relaxed today and we just introduced ourselves made some jokes and talked, I think I'll really like this class. ^^

    Lunch...

Same as always, Eat with Sarah and others and discuss school stuff amongst many other things.

    Fifth period...

Two words, PURE WIN. It's Spanish II Kotahn is in it along with MANY other friends and the teacher is really cool. I can tell this year is going to be fun.

    Sixth period...

Algebra II, pretty blah, and what I expected. My teachers voice doesn't go higher than volume 4 I think and the homework today was pretty confusing, I got through it with some help but still Ah! ><

So far all I had was to finish up some of the english summer stuff and some Algebra II, plus get all those papers signed for Homework, other than that it was pretty O-K. I still think it is a little too early to tall but who knows ^^

Sophomore outlook so far: I can handle it. ^^

Thats all for now, off to bed,

    Tah, Tah!
