I've been trying to make a certain appointment since this semester began, but I have never been able to find the time (or remember it when I do have time). Last night I felt it was incredibly urgent that I resolve this, so I skipped class today to see if I could get in.

Everyone I could see is busy all day today, and for the rest of the week.

On one hand I feel like this is hilarious.

On the other, I fear for my sanity and feel like some unknown forces in the universe are conspiring against me.

    College life.

(It's worse because I only get my work schedule one week at a time, so I won't be able to try for next week until the schedule goes up, which could be as early as Wednesday or as late as Saturday. God help me.)

Chapter 2 of Shooting Star Sonia 2 is up!

While chapter 1 was more of an original prologue, this chapter starts to get into the adaptation proper, though things have been moved around and I’ve decided to begin with something that happened a little later in the original game. Hey, it helps if there’s an actual reason for the villains to be targeting the heroine, right?

I tried to revise the world history presented in the game into something a little more cohesive here, and also more clearly emphasize the connections between Mu and the Lost Tribes. There may also be some subtle hints to what you can expect from the Tribe On forms, and a little fun is poked at some choices the game made, though I’ll admit they’re a little obscure. (I guess I’m a nitpicker after all!)

    Chapter 3 is on-track for August 1st!

It bothers me when people insist that I am smart.

I’m a college dropout working part-time in a grocery store deli. What part of that says smart to you?

I need a quick way to shut people up the next time this happens. Unfortunately, I can’t think of one. Because I’m not smart!

Wait, Bravely Second is going to have 30 Jobs, 28 are now confirmed, but there are still six Jobs from Bravely Default that haven’t been confirmed…

    Oh no

I mean I guess we don’t need every Job back, but it’s still kind of sad. It’s entirely possible that one or both of the remaining Job slots could be another new Job (Emperor, maybe?), but here are the Bravely Default Jobs that have yet to be seen and may have been cut:

    -Spell Fencer ( D: )
-Salve-Maker (We’re all glad Qada’s dead so this is good. Also I’m pretty sure I’ve seen Patisserie using its Collect ability, so it’s probably gone.)
-Arcanist (It would be kind of tough to retcon the Asterisk Holder’s death, I’m not holding out for this one.)
-Spiritmaster (Honestly it sounds like the new Bishop Job might be replacing this.)
-Vampire (Again, difficult to retcon this death. I’m still thinking that Guardian might be our new Blue Mage equivalent. I guess we don’t really need a Blue Mage, but it’d be neat to get a new one.)
-Conjurer (I feel like this has a pretty good chance of coming back since the Aserisk Holder is the guy who made the Asterisks.)

At this stage, these final two Jobs probably won’t be known until the game is released and people unlock them. (And even I can admit that Spell Fencer’s chances of being a Secret Job don’t look that good. Much despair.) I’m fully expecting Conjurer to be a Secret Job you have to jump through a bunch of hoops for like in the first game, and while I’ll be glad to have the Job back, I am not looking forward to fighting that guy again…

Hey, guess what? The Platinum Avohkii is on sale again! It's cheaper this time, but I still can't afford it...

In other news, I managed to get two chapters of Kako up in the past week. Hoping to get the next one done soon.

Aside from that...well, the Technic Coliseum tournament starts on Monday. That's pretty much it. It's been an uneventful week, not that I'm complaining.

We're only a few chapters away from beginning the Ending arc in Sekai, but...I might not be able to get any chapters typed this week or next.

The thing is, I have two papers I need to complete by the end of this week, and then I need to get started on another paper due at the end of next week. There will be little if any time to type up a chapter or update the websites, and if I do then it probably means I'm being irresponsible and pushing my assignments back until later. I procrastinate a lot. But I'm still trying to keep up with writing Sekai--I just started Chapter 141 today--so hopefully I can have it finished in a month or two.

Forgotten Bond is waaaay behind. I haven't written anything new in at least a month, probably more, and since Sekai's so close to being done I want to focus primarily on getting it finished. Once Sekai is over, though, I'll be sure to get Forgotten Bond done before I start Kako. I'd like the writing of at least one story to take under a year...

Registration for a new Technic Coliseum tournament will open at the beginning of May. After this one we'll recruit Sidorak, Roodaka, Keetongu, Norik Hagah, and Iruini Hagah. One-week deadlines are still in effect, because even though we had to skip a whole round last time I don't like tournaments being unnecessarily drawn out.

The second week of May, I'll get up as many chapters as I can, and hopefully I'll be able to update the websites then as well. I shouldn't have any more big school projects to worry about, so providing I stay on top of things you'll see a flood of Sekai chapters from that point and going until the end of the Book. And trust me, it may be the home stretch, but it's a very loooooooong stretch...

Kingdom Hearts Unchained X is doing a bunch of special events to celebrate the new II.8 trailer and demo at E3, as well as being released all across Europe!

-For starters, 25 new story quests were added! This wraps up the Olympus Coliseum story (already?) and gives you another Orichalcum, so there are now just enough Orichalcum to get all five currently-available Keyblades to their third tier! (Third-tier Olympia looks so cool, and it has 16 gauges!)

-The 600 jewel Daily Deal has been enhanced, now guaranteeing five star medals! This is of course a limited time offer, and be aware that the medals you get from this won’t necessarily be…good. I got a 5 Star Tidus today.

-There’s also a new VIP quest for those who buy the 3000 jewel pack, giving you medals to evolve and boost your medals, but who can afford that?

-For a limited time, ALL AP costs are 1! Every single quest, no matter what it is, even Raid Bosses, only costs 1 AP! Time to grind!

-Perhaps best of all, just log in over the next week and you get a free HD Aqua Medal! This 5 Star Medal depicts Master Aqua’s II.8 render, has great stats (at about half-way to Level 80 it’s already outclassed two of the Magic Medals I’ve been using), and its special deals 7 hits at x2.90…and only costs 1 special gauge!! (The only downside is that it only hits one random target, but that can easily be worked around!) Seriously, I just saw someone who got it to 6 Star Level 100, and it has 7000 strength and nearly as much defense! Master freaking Aqua, everybody!

This is great and I love it and I need to go level up and evolve this Medal now bye.

UPDATE: They just started up another event, this one giving you a chance to get three new Medals: KH3D Sora, KH3D Riku, and Meow Wow! Unlike the Snow White and Dwarves event, these evolve like normal medals, so the bare minimum number you'll need to Guilt them is seven of each. Which is good, because it is not at all likely you'll be seeing many Soras or Rikus. You will, however, find yourself with dozens of Meow Wows. Thank God everything's 1 AP right now...anyway, I'm told they'll be really powerful Medals, but they are Low Tier Guilt and their specials all cost a whopping 4 gauges each, so it's up to you. You might as well Guilt them if you can, though.

Earlier this week Square Enix announced another remake of The World Ends With You: a social game titled The World Ends With You -LIVE Remix-. There isn't really any information at this point, but apparently it'll be released in Japan this winter. I wish I could post this in the TWEWY topic, but it kinda died. D:

Thank God they announced it sensibly this time, rather than overdoing it with a one-week countdown like last time. Although the fact that this is a social game still throws some of us off...but, meh, they'd have to try pretty hard to mess up TWEWY. This will also appeal to a different group of players, continuing to broaden the fanbase...hm, I wonder what they could be doing that for? Heheheh...

If Square is trying to expand the appeal of TWEWY, they must be intending to do something with it. TWEWY -SOLO Remix- had the famous secret artwork of a never before seen character, dubbed "Hype-chan" by the fanbase. (No, seriously. Hype-chan. I love these people.) It sure seems like a hint at a sequel...

You can expect me to put news on this remake in my blog as it becoms available, what with my obsession and all. I'm not particularly excited because of the whole "social game" thing, but I'm hoping it will have a new piece of artwork (or maybe a Kingdom Hearts style secret movie!) further hinting at a new game. Hype-chan, I expect to see you at the end of this remake!

On a related note, it looks like the TWEWY concert this Novemeber is sold out. D: Not that I would have been able to get to Japan anyway, but...still. So, I'll just sit at home with my DS and have Neku stand in A-East while I peruse my collection of in-game soundtrack CDs. It's the next best thing, right?

EDIT: Somehow I didn't realize this before, but one of the images of TWEWY -LIVE Remix- has another new character! We can only see her face, but she appears to be a Reaper wearing a pink hoodie with animal ears. Her eyes look green/blue, and her hair is part blonde and part gray/silver. The fandom has named her "Live-chan." (Have I mentioned that I love these people?) No idea what kind of role she'll have, but at least we won't have to wait too long to find out. Winter isn't that far away...

So in case you didn't know, 2016 is Pokemon's 20th anniversary.

Turns out one of the things they're doing to celebrate is, throughout the year, have official distributions for every Mythical Pokemon from Gens I through V.

That's Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Keldeo, Genesect, and Meloetta.

(And of course Volcanion's probably going to be distributed this year too.)

So yeah. Get your Pokedexes ready.

Strike of the Hour introduced a new character into the Okoto 579 universe: Max, the Ice Region blacksmith who discovered the secret to becoming a Mask Maker. The person who designed this character, Karios, is currently writing a spin-off story featuring Max making his first journey across the island, exploring new lands and distributing his masks to villagers far and wide. When the story is complete I'll be posting a link to it, so please be on the lookout!

Standing from the throne was a titanic figure with pitch-black armor, broken up by a few plates of gleaming crimson. His face was obscured by a cloud of black flame, pierced only by two narrow, burning red eyes that traced the visitor’s every move. He strode forward, saying, “Tell me, Umarak. Are you fond of this world?”

“Of course, Protector. You have shaped Okoto into a wonderful land, where all can live in peace under your rule.”

“Good. I have a very important task for you. If you do not complete it, then I—no, this entire world—may very well cease to exist.”

Nodding, Umarak said, “Then I will accept. I will do whatever it takes to aid you, Protector of Time.”

“You are about to embark on a very perilous journey, Umarak. Once you have left, it will be impossible to turn back.”

“Where will you be sending me, Protector?”

The Protector chuckled. “It is not a matter of where, Umarak. It is a matter of when.”

You know what I find funny? A while back, there was a fake Pokemon scan that used a silhouette of Gadunka, saying it was a new Pokemon. And now we have Mega Swampert, who is so flipping ripped that it actually resembles Gadunka. Or at least I think it does.

    Coincidence? I think not.

Mega Sceptile looks cool too, but I'm definitely still going with Gadunka Mega Swampert. The new Hoenn artwork is simply beautiful, and I'm way psyched for the Primal Devolutions. I just pre-ordered Omega Ruby today, so hello Ground/Fire type Primal Groudon! It's also nice to have a fixed release date--though I'm worried by how close it is to KH II.5...

Speaking of KH II.5, which is not technically E3 news but I'm going to talk about anyway, I was lucky enough to see the new trailer showcased at an anime convention this weekend, so I'm super pumped. I may or may not have wept, though part of that may or may not have been related to Kairi's lack of screentime. All we got to see was her hand, for crying out loud! Meh...well, December will still rock. I'm also hyped for the KHIII teaser with Young Xehanort and Young Eraqus. All these things saying that darkness is predestined to win is making me nervous. Maybe the it can be fixed by the Princesses of Heart returning to relevance?! ...Or something else they pull out of nowhere.

The only other thing covered so far that I'm psyched about is Smash, and amiibo by extension. I haven't played Kid Icarus, so I don't know how to feel about Palutena, but being able to use your Miis as fighters is one of the greatest things ever. I just so happened to create more Miis on my 3DS this weekend, heheheh...it shall be glorious! Amiibo sounds pretty interesting--the technology isn't new, of course, but I like that Nintendo is going to use it as an add-on for multiple games rather than just making one game specifically for this. Can't wait to see how they incorporate this into future games.

Wait...we still don't know what accessory will come with Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. What if they come with amiibo?! ...Nah, they said it wouldn't be on 3DS for a while now. But it's cool to think about.

(As a side note, I am now realizing that using a Kairi Mii in Smash will be the first time you could actually consider Kairi a playable character. Shame on you Square. Good on you Nintendo. You're picking up all the discarded characters of other companies, aren't you?)

X and Y? As in "nintendo Y u make gen vi?"

Actually, I'm guessing there's more to the name. The third version will probably be Pokemon Z, because X, Y, and Z are the names of axes in a three-dimensional graph, and these are the first main Pokemon games in 3D.

That's right. There's math in your Pokemon now.

Before the "y no gen 3 remakes" posts start: we needed Gen I and II remade in order to obtain a lot of those Pokemon, because we couldn't transfer them into Gen III. But our Gen III Pokemon can be transfered to Gen IV, then to Gen V, so there was no point in making remakes in Gen V. Plus, the starters and mascots were available throughout Gen IV and V, so there's that.

Well, the graphics do look nice. Peronsally not a graphics fan, but I'll go along with this shift with only a tiny grudge.

Player characters: the guy looks like Black and the girl looks like Leaf.

Not super-impressed with the starters. We've had Water frogs before, and we've had Fire foxes before. (Please, please don't let this Fire starter evole into another Fire/Fighting type!) The Grass starter...is that a Patrat with mold on its back? Meh, hoping the final forms will be more impressive.

I'm assuming those Pokemon at the end of the trailer are the new mascots. The black and red bird that looks like the letter Y is probably a Flying type, and maybe Dark. As for the blue Sawsbuck with swords for legs and Christmas lights on its antlers, I'm thinking Steel, and maybe Grass. Huh, we may actually go a Generation without a Dragon mascot...

Too soon for me to pick a version, so I look forward to more news. I am impressed that Nintendo is releasing them worldwide in October--I'm all for not having to wait for a dub. I'm also wondering if this region will be based on another place in the States, and if so, if Isshu/Unova will be revisitable. Plus, sort of hoping we finally get a Dark type Gym Leader, and really hoping that story will be even more important than in Gen V. I was dreading the possibility of a Generation VI, but I suppose I should try to judge these games fairly now that they're here. Here's to hoping they're not as stingy with information as they were with Black 2 and White 2!

UPDATE: We now have names for the mascots! The deer is Xerneas and the bird is Yveltal.

Pokemon fans may remember #493. Arceus, the creator of the Pokemon universe. (Or maybe just Sinnoh. And Ransei.) Being a promotion-only Mythical Pokemon, its availability is obviously rather scarce, but there's a unique aspect to Arceus's story: the Azure Flute. (It looks a lot like the Ocarina of Time actually, hence the entry title.)

So, if you go through the data for Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, you'll find this item called Azure Flute that was intended to be distributed to players at some point. When you go to Spear Pillar with the Flute in your possession, you will be prompted to play it, and if you select Yes (and why wouldn't you I mean come on), you will summon a glass staircase leading to the Hall of Origin, where you can battle and catch Arceus.

Thing is, the Azure Flute was never released. Arceus itself was distributed later on, but the Flute can only be obtained by using cheat devices. (Which I totally did not do...for real.) Fans aware of this have always wondered why the Flute was never made available, and I just discovered that, in an interview last year, Masuda addressed the matter. He said that while the Flute was their original plan, they changed their mind later on because it would be too confusing for players to use.

...Which is complete nonsense. All you do is go to Spear Pillar. As soon as you set foot there, it automatically prompts you to play the Flute. There's nothing confusing about it, not so long as you can make it to Spear Pillar (which you're required to do in the story anyway) and press a button (which I'm pretty sure is required at least once to complete the game?).

On one hand I'm glad the matter has been addressed formally, but this explanation does not satisfy me. Well, maybe in the 2017 Sinnoh remakes they'll finally distribute an Azure Flute and I can use it without feeling that tinge of guilt...

Oh, and apparently right now Cartoon Network is doing a marathon of Hoenn episodes leading up to the premiere of the Diancie movie this afternoon, so you can check that out if you want.

I don’t think I ever said anything about the early demo, but it was something I picked up as soon as I got my Switch. I had already watched someone play through it as one of the available characters, but even if I hadn’t, I probably would’ve gone for this right away—a free demo of a JRPG with gorgeous pixel art from a big name like Square? Yeah, doubt I’d miss that. Anyway, I don’t think that original demo is available now that the new one has gone live, but it really grabbed my attention. Not just because it had an interesting, engaging battle system, but because after completing your chosen character’s story, not only can you keep playing, not only can you recruit the other character to start getting a feel for how they work together, but there’s also a hidden dungeon you can only access after “beating” the demo. A free demo with a post-game dungeon. That impressed me.

Anyway, I’ve also picked up the new Prologue demo: on the plus side you can choose from any of the eight characters, the game has some nice improvements since its original showing, and the save data will transfer to the full game once you get it! On the down side, there’s only one save file, and once its time reaches 3 hours you won’t be able to play any more. You can just keep doing New Games with the other characters and just not save (or rely on the separate autosave file), but still, I feel like that time limit is a bit unfortunate. (I mean, if you wanted to do the full 3 hours with all 8 characters, that’s still 24 hours of gameplay, but…anyway.) Now that I’ve checked everyone out, here are my thoughts.

-Ophilia: Seeing as she’s a Cleric, and even has an action for bringing NPCs along with her to aid her in battle, I wasn’t expecting Ophilia to dish out much damage, but she really surprised me. Granted her first dungeon is catered specifically to her, but I was shocked by how much damage her light magic does. And on the healing side of things, she starts out with an AoE heal, and can immediately learn an AoE revival skill if you so choose, so, yeah, she’s pretty good on that front. She’s an endearingly sweet character, though I could see someone saying she’s about what you’d expect for a Cleric—a matter of opinion, I guess. But either way, she gets top marks for starting off as one very good healer. Also her starting town is the most gorgeous place in the game thus far.
-Cyrus: After trying everyone out, this is the character I’m starting with. He’s smart, he’s likeable, he’s got just a dash of arrogance, and he firmly believes that knowledge is meant to be shared and that keeping it to oneself is a terrible crime. In short, just an all-around delight. Really, the main reason I want him in the party is because he’s very practical: he begins with AoE fire and ice magic and can immediately learn thunder, and can also learn multi-hit AoE spells of those same elements (very useful for the way the battle system works). More than that, upon entering battle he will automatically uncover one weakness of every enemy on the field, which really sets you up for success without the risk of trial-and-error you usually go through, plus his ability to scrutinize NPCs turns up all sorts of useful bonuses. Definitely recommend giving him a try.
-Tressa: Going into this, I didn’t have much of an interest in Tressa. I’ve developed an appreciation for her now, but honestly, she’s not really in the running for “favorite” status, and since her goal is so vague I’m not really sure what to expect. Her field action lets her buy items from NPCs, sometimes giving you access to better things than you can find in the shop, and that can be handy. She’s the only character who learns wind magic, and can collect money from enemies in battle—not to mention occasionally finding money on the ground as you travel. (For some reason I find that a little funny, maybe because it’s phrased as being “left behind by some unfortunate soul”.) What’s really nice is that she gets a skill that restores her HP and SP at no cost other than using your turn, so she’s very efficient. She left a positive impression…if not necessarily the strongest one.
-Olberic: One of the characters available in the original demo, Olberic is an all-around solid choice by virtue of being a knight. Knights are always good in a JRPG. Plus he starts with two weapon types and possesses a physical AoE skill, and his unique field action allows him to challenge NPCs to a duel, allowing you to gain EXP, money, and items at a much faster rate if you’re thorough. One could argue he’s a bit vanilla, but it’s worth trying him out.
-Primrose: The other character from the original demo. Her story is incredibly dark, not sure I can really go into it here, but if you want a JRPG with serious and mature themes in its narrative she’s the woman you want to go to. She’s the only character who learns shadow magic, and she also learns a variety of buff skills, but the real focus is on using her field action to charm an NPC into following you, and them summoning them in battle as a temporary extra party member. A very neat character, looking forward to seeing where her story goes.
-Alfyn: Okay, so…Alfyn’s the character of this bunch that just doesn’t really excite me. I mean, there’s nothing wrong with him, and he has a noble goal and all, but…I dunno, he just doesn’t seem as interesting for some reason. Of course, the one time I used his Concoct skill it did nothing, so that certainly didn’t help matters. And he has only a single-target ice spell, and a single-target heal spell, which doesn’t compete well with Cyrus and Ophilia respectively. (He and Cyrus also have more or less the same field action.) He learned a nice support skill that restores a little SP with every attack made, and a status-healing move that also makes you immune to status for a short time, but…eh. Currently my least favorite of the eight.
-Therion: An edgy thief, yes…but he pulls it off very well. He’s far more entertaining than obnoxious. Stealing NPCs blind is ridiculously fun, and gets you a lot of nice stuff (supplemented by the loot in special treasure chests only Therion can open), making it very easy to prepare yourself for the enemies in this chapter. Plus, he learns powerful double-hit skills that restore his HP or SP by a certain amount of the damage done, making him a very efficient character after only a few upgrades. Quite a tempting choice actually.
-H’aanit: Kind of a mixed bag. She’s a neat character, to be sure, but it’s difficult to take her seriously when her and her people use Old English to the point that it isn’t even funny. She’s basically a revamp of the classic Beastmaster job from Final Fantasy: she can catch monsters and then release them in later battles to unleash attacks on enemies, but she can store several monsters this way and they each have multiple uses before disappearing. (She also has a snow leopard named Linde who is always with her, so you’re never totally without an animal friend to call on.) Since these monsters all have different attacks that hit a variety of attributes, H’aanit is the most versatile character when it comes to targeting weaknesses—assuming you’re catching plenty of monsters and seeing what they can all do, that is. And the game does encourage you to do this by giving her a field action similar to Olberic, where she can challenge NPCs, but can only use the animals she has with her, none of her other skills. H’aanit is truly a devastating hunter and seemed a little OP at first…but the thing is, she does her best work fighting single foes. You can’t aim any of her animal friends, hampering the versatility they offer, and the only skills she learns that can potentially hit multiple targets are random as well. I like H’aanit, and definitely enjoyed her opening story, but as I gathered party members with her and faced more and more groups of enemies, I found myself using her unique abilities far less. Hopefully this is just down to my inexperience with the Beastmaster job, but I can’t help but wonder.

A criticism I have is that there’s no interaction between the characters. They’ve said there will be at least some in the full game, but right now, you just run to the other characters’ starting areas, meet up with them, and then watch their cutscenes play out without anything changing. Really feels like a missed opportunity, but I guess this is to motivate you to buy the full game.

Also I was bummed we couldn’t mess around with the jobs in the demo. They’ve already shown that in addition to a character’s main job, they can equip another character’s job as a secondary job, plus now we know that characters earn support skills they can equip no matter what jobs they have equipped, and you know I love me some job-mixing! Can’t believe I have to wait a whole month to make Cyrus a Scholar/Dancer…

But anyway, I’m really looking forward to Octopath Traveler even if there are a few things I’m hoping are done better in the full package. If you have a Switch and this game sounds like it’d be up your alley, I’d highly recommend downloading the demo and giving it a shot!

So my sister and I are going to be away at an anime convention this Thursday through Sunday. I don’t expect to be on much until we get back, I’ll be a little busy burning money and hiding in the back of panel rooms, also my sister is actually running a panel and has invited me to join her at the Panel Runner Table and I’m excited to do that again. This is the fourth time she’s run the panel (in less than a year) and the second time I’ve gotten to go. The name is “Worst (and Funniest) Dubbed Songs”, so you can imagine why I enjoy it. (YA-YO YAAA-YOOOOO) For whatever reason there are also a fair number of writing panels (some fanfic-specific and some not), and that’s pretty neat; maybe it’ll motivate me to do more work on those fanfics I’m trying to get out!

Sorta. It was mostly a heads-up, I guess? Plus a pre-announcement that might have been overshadowed a little.

Nomura was interviewed and, after some talk about the new Dissidia for arcades, said Kingdom Hearts III was going well and there will be some news at the D23 Expo this November. I was just wondering when they’d make the next announcement…but, does this mean they won’t have anything to say about it at E3? Seems a little weird.

He also said that D23 would have news on a new smartphone title to be announced soon. It seems to have been stated pretty casually, but that’s kind of big! Maybe announcing this will be Square-Enix’s big KH-related E3 move? Time will tell and all that.

To be honest, I still had that instinctive “ugh smartphone” reaction, but then I reminded myself that that is stupid and Steven Universe: Attack the Light is a fantastic game. (You should go play it.) I just hope it’s on Android…and cheap. Also this means Square might be able to keep the “one new game a year” resolution a little longer, though it is also possible this might not be out during 2015. Anyway, I wasn’t really sure what to expect (I have some ideas on games I’d like to see, but I’ll post those later), but then I saw people suggesting it might be a new version of Kingdom Hearts X, possibly a localized version, and I became excited. Square has been trying to get X localized, and moving it to smartphones might make that more doable than its current browser incarnation. If so, hopefully it remains free to play.

Since X hasn’t gotten that much publicity in the West, here’s some reasons we need it to get you excited for this possibility:
-The game is set during the Keyblade War, the origin myth of the KH universe. We’re getting to see where it all began! Things are pretty calm right now, but from what we’ve been told, it’s going to get really, really intense…
-You get to make your own custom Keybearer. That self-insert OC we all have can now be canon!
-You have a few different Keyblade options, and each of them can be upgraded—it’s still the same Keyblade, but new elements get added to its design to make it look a little cooler. It’s sort of reminiscent of Aqua and Terra getting Keyblades that look like stronger versions of their default Keyblades. Some of these Keyblades are also old favorites, meaning you can get newer, updated versions of Keyblades like Olympia and Three Wishes!
-Players choose from one of five Unions to join; each Union is headed by a Foreteller, and each Foreteller has their own unique super-awesome Keyblade that is so cool just to look at. Seriously, look at these things.
-Related to that, there exists a popular theory that Master Xehanort’s Keyblade is tied to the Keyblades of the Foretellers, and given they made special mention of that Keyblade in II.5, we might find out something really special about it, and possibly the origin of Keyblades in general.
-Just seriously X is already so important to the lore I mean come on we really need to play it

I was thinking that maybe I was too hard on April Fool's Day and that maybe I should give it a chance.

Then I see these people crafting the most heart-destroying "there's a TWEWY sequel" prank they can possibly come up with.

And I remember why I hate this holiday.

    Yes, I’m still reading Bleach.

Yes, it’s still not that good.

There are a few developments I want to semi-rant on briefly:

Anyway. I’m hoping it’ll pick up a bit soon and end on a higher note, but I’m not sure how realistic that is. Was Bleach always like this? Because I was thinking back and I realized it might not be that Bleach has gone downhill as I’ve sort of outgrown it, which is equally worrying in a way. Eh, whatever. Deep, calming breaths…

The trailers won't be uploaded for another 14 hours, I guess. Let's see what's available that I can find now...

    Heheheheheh

    "There's a new Nobody."

    Ahahahahahaha!

    HA! HAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

EDIT: Um, well, this is embarrassing. Eh, it turns out whoever told me it'd be uploaded at 1 was incorrect, sorry for the confusion. I'll definitely make a post with links once they're up, though. (That is, once it's up and I'm up and not at work, so even if it gets uploaded soonish I probably won't be making a post until the afternoon...)

I feel like I should jump on, but the only social media I frequently use is Tumblr.

And I'm not giving you my Tumblr.

The reason being that, to quote a certain Jedi, "you will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy" than Tumblr.

I've blended a bit and swear a lot on my blog over there. I mean, maybe if I were to behave long enough to get one full page without swearing, I could link it, but...no.

The good thing about this, and one of the main reasons I still use Tumblr, is because this type of atmosphere doesn't make me feel like I'm under that much pressure. Other sites like Facebook are so widely used now that you need to keep up appearances--how many of us have had to refrain from saying what we really think because one or both of our parents could easily view such a status?

I guess I just feel like I can behave however I want on Tumblr, which is a nice feeling.

That being said, my side/roleplaying blog, Ask Yandere Vhisola, should be clean, so I'll just leave a link here and see what happens. (I haven't been very active with this lately, but that's partly due to me running low on Nokama images from BioSector I can link to.)

Yes the main stories for this year are dreadfully overdue but whatever that’s not important right now.

As teased previously, Karios has been working on a spin-off for the series featuring his character Max. It will show him working his way across Okoto to settle into the role of being the new Mask Maker, and may also have a few hints toward the future sprinkled in along the way.

The story is in progress, but he is looking for some feedback and has posted the first piece over in short stories! Please take a look and give him some comments to work with!
