    Asterisk Holder: Unknown

    Origin: Final Fantasy Tactics

Was It In Bravely Default?: No

Overview: The Holy Magic of a Bishop can heal and revive allies, as well as enhance magic. They can cast Heal, power up a spell by casting it twice, and turn damage taken during Default into HP restoration.

Personal Thoughts: Sounds sort of redundant. With so few spots left though, I’m going to guess this is replacing Spiritmaster. Bishops in the Final Fantasy games seem to be Red Mage knock-offs, but it sounds like this Job is strictly healing and buffing. That’s…really all I can think to say? Nice hat, I guess?

    Asterisk Holder: Ominas Crowe

    Origin: Final Fantasy

Was It In Bravely Default?: Yes

Overview: Another iconic Job! The Black Mage can cast a wide variety of damage-dealing and debuff spells, making them your basic offensive magic unit. In Bravely Default, their Black Resonance ability powered them up when you had multiple Black Mages in the same party, though the lack of variety and low survivability of Black Mages makes this approach somewhat questionable. They also learn Damage Dispersion, which lowers the damage they take…by splitting it with their teammates…and Group-Cast All, which allows any spell to be cast on all foes (very handy).

Personal Thoughts: Now, Black Mage is a nice, classic Job, and it can be pretty useful. But again, it’s tough to keep them alive. Also, when they’re out of MP, they’re done. Just plain done. And, as the game goes on, you keep finding newer more unique Jobs that can fill the same roles your Black Mage does, so…I’d say use them, get a feel for them, and don’t be afraid to switch back every now and then, but this might not end up being one of your main Jobs. Also, looking at the render, it seems to me Magnolia is irked that her hat is almost as tall as she is.

Asterisk Holder: Minnette Goroneze (pictured left)

    Origin: Bravely Second

Was It In Bravely Default?: No

Overview: Cat Master works by, well…calling cats to the field! It seems this can be done in two ways: 1. Using the Job’s innate command to call out cats that will buff or debuff, and 2. Using cat food items dropped by enemies to call out cats that will launch an attack. Cat foods can also be combined for more powerful cats, though this ability is currently being rebalanced.

Personal Thoughts: I feel like I really shouldn’t be surprised. This Job certainly looks to lend a little extra silliness to the game, and I’m usually a fan of silliness in my JPRGs. Not to mention it does actually sound powerful and effective. I guess we’ll have to wait and see if there’s substance beneath this weird appearance.

    Asterisk Holder: Cu Chulainn

    Origin: Bravely Second

Was It In Bravely Default?: No

Overview: Chariot is said to be a weapon master class capable of causing massive physical damage. It also possesses a Triple Wield ability, though how exactly this works is yet to be seen.

Personal Thoughts: Is that Asterisk Holder a centaur?! Weird. Anyway, physical powerhouse Jobs always sound pretty good to me, and if this Job is a weapon master then that means it’s probably pretty versatile. And then there’s Triple Wield, which sounds ridiculous but potentially game-breakingly awesome, so I’m looking forward to hearing more about that. Well, what’s your opinion on this Job: yay or neigh?
  5. Pahrak Model ZX
    Asterisk Holder: Alternis Dim

Origin: Final Fantasy II (character), Final Fantasy III (as “Magic Knight”)

Was It In Bravely Default?: Yes

Overview: Dark Knights are powerhouses who specialize in giving up their own HP to execute mega-powerful dark-element attacks, putting them at high risk if you don’t have a healer ready. Should you keep them alive though, they can easily wipe the field, so figuring out how to best make use of them is definitely worth it.

Personal Thoughts: I guess Dark Knight and Templar were confirmed? This has story impact I must not get into here. Anyway! Since I have difficulty keeping my party alive already, Dark Knight isn’t really for me, except for when I’m executing final boss strategies. They learn a lot of great abilities: Magic Drain, Helm Lore, Physical Attack 30% Up, Adversity…there are plenty of reasons to invest in this Job. There’s also Minus Strike, which does damage equal to how much HP you’ve lost, and that’s fantastic to use while you’re waiting for your healer to recharge. There’s also the option of using Drain Sword Magic before using their skills—that way, while you will lose some HP upon attacking, once you hit, you’ll gain some HP back, at least enough to keep you steady until your healer gets to you. There was never much doubt this was coming back, was there?

Asterisk Holder: Geist (warning he's super creepy)

    Origin: Bravely Second

Was It In Bravely Default?: No

Overview: The Exorcist’s ability has been translated as “Never Happened”, and allows them to undo turns. This can be done by setting HP, MP, or BP of a target back to what it was one to three turns ago. This abilities are said to have a fairly low MP cost.

Personal Thoughts: Sounds like a super broken hybrid of Time Mage and White Mage. Not that I’m complaining (though Geist is creepy as heck and will haunt my nightmares). Well, okay, part of me wonders if this Job will be a little redundant, but Square is going to add it to the demo out now in Japan, so hopefully we’ll soon be able to see how it functions and how it sets itself apart.

Origin: Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings

Was It In Bravely Default?: No

Overview: Fencers are said to be able to increase their defense ("Bison Horn") and speed ("Falcon Claw"). They fight using special sword techniques.

Personal Thoughts: We don’t have much to go on, so I can’t really say a whole lot. I’m not sure what sort of sword techniques are available that won’t overlap with Swordmaster, though. Apparently, in the Final Fantasy games where this is a Job, it inflicts status ailments, and a physical-based debuffer would certainly be interesting to see. No word yet if that’s when Luxendarc Fencers do, though.

    Asterisk Holder: N/A

    Origin: Final Fantasy V

Was It In Bravely Default?: Yes

Overview: The basic Job one has without an Asterisk. Rather than having a unified theme, Freelancer outfits are whatever the character wears normally, though in Bravely Second three of the four protagonists do wear similar uniforms in their Freelancer Job. Though they don’t have any specialties, Freelancers do learn a variety of useful abilities, and gain a boost to all stats for every other Job you master. The majority of Freelancer abilities from Bravely Default will likely return in Bravely Second, though there will be a new ability called “Halfs” that allows a character to use a healing item on the entire party at once, though its effectiveness will be reduced to 50%.

Personal Thoughts: Freelancer, in any incarnation, is one of those classes most people ignore until very late in the game. Bravely Default gave them more early-game relevance thanks to having abilities like Examine, Treat, and Dungeon Master. Mid-game, investing in a Freelancer will get you the wonderful JP Up ability, and of course mastering it gives you the ever-broken Mimic. However, the allure of flashier Jobs kept me from spending a lot of time in Freelancer until I realized I needed one of its abilities. Even with the stat boost that comes with mastering Jobs, I still feel like its command abilities aren’t worth setting it as your main Job, but that might just be because I’m comparing it to the wonderful brokenness of post-game Freelancers in FFV. Regardless, I definitely recommend spending some time in Freelancer to get a few low-level abilities and then switching back to get JP Up before you start your serious late-game grinding.

    Origin: Bravely Second

Was It In Bravely Default?: No

Overview: We have been told that the Guardian is a heavy damage dealing Job that uses spiritual energy, and will supposedly use the powers of others. It has been seen using a “Soul Smash” attack.

Personal Thoughts: This looks like an interesting Job—bashing things in with glowing fists has a certain appeal to it! I’m curious about this “using the power of others” thing, though. Will this be something similar to Mimic? Or maybe this will replace Vampire as our Blue Mage equivalent? (Since DeRosso is gone, that might not be unlikely. I enjoyed Vampire, but they do have a good reason to replace it.)

    Asterisk Holder: Argent Heinkel

    Origin: Final Fantasy

Was It In Bravely Default?: Yes

Overview: With armor, swords, and shields, this Job is a pretty solid front-line unit for your starting party. They offer extremely useful abilities like Sword Lore, Shield Lore, and the ever-amazing Two Handed, along with the oddity that is Dual Shields, but hey whatever works. They’re going to be your most solid party member early on, and are capable of protecting allies from damage. A great Job for getting you started on your adventure.

Personal Thoughts: Apparently Knight and a few other Jobs have been confirmed? Meh. Knight is iconic and does provide some great abilities (Two Handed is simply awesome), but I feel like it doesn’t really stand out that well and can easily be replaced with other Jobs. Definitely use it early on and maybe farm some of its abilities later, but pretty much anything a Knight can do can be done better by another Job, so don’t be surprised if it quickly falls out of actual use.

    Asterisk Holder: Chairman Profiteur

Origin: Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light

Was It In Bravely Default?: Yes

Overview: It’s all about the money. And you’d better have plenty of it if you’re planning on using a Merchant! They have some very useful abilities, but they all take up money rather than MP—and some of them have some hefty charges. Still, just being a Merchant means you get more money at the end of battle, so that might help keep you out of poverty. For buying BP, it just might be worth it.

Personal Thoughts: I’m gonna be honest, I didn’t use Merchant. While the whole throwing money thing is wonderfully nostalgic for someone who associates Zeninage with Samurai, I wanted to use my money on things that would affect more than one turn, so Merchant just wasn’t going to happen. I’m sure there are plenty of ways to manipulate its abilities, I just don’t know what they are. Although when you master it, you get the ability to literally buy victory, so I really want to use that just to spite those darn Chompers…other than that, eh. Although, Magnolia’s costume is interesting. So who knows.

    Asterisk Holder: Barras Lehr

    Origin: Final Fantasy

Was It In Bravely Default?: Yes

Overview: An agile, armorless physical attacker who specializes in Knuckles. If your Monk stays light on their feet, they can cause some serious damage even with just their standard attacks. They have some useful techniques as well, the most powerful being Phoenix Flight, which takes advantage of their high HP in a high risk high reward assault! If you want raw speed and high HP, Monk is your Job.

Personal Thoughts: Monk is fun. Honestly, though, I’ve always put more stock in defense than agility, so I quickly abandoned Monk until I needed it. (It works great in a final boss strategy.) Their HP boosting ability is very useful, but with an actual Monk, their defenses tend to be so low that all that HP doesn’t always help a whole lot, so it might be better as an ability farm Job. It is one of the first Jobs you get, so maybe that was the intent?

    Asterisk Holder: Konoe Kikyo

    Origin: Final Fantasy

Was It In Bravely Default?: Yes

Overview: Fast as a Monk and tricky as a Thief, the Ninja class has long been a favorite of many, not just for its aesthetic but also for the powerful abilities they tend to acquire, such as their signature Dual Wield. They also possess abilities that are great for evasion and abilities that increase how many times they attack—the combination of Transience (counter after dodging) and Utsusemi (guaranteed evade) is practically legendary. Ninja may have lost its traditional Throw and Smoke abilities in the transition to Bravely Default, but it’s still a force to be reckoned with!

Personal Thoughts: You know how I said I don’t believe in agility? Ninja is the exception. Transience and Utsusemi make a winning combination, and even using regular attacks, Ninja are perfectly capable of taking down a foe. And, if they have Cleave equipped, they might even make an extra attack after defeating that foe. But of course, the main reason we love Ninja is for Dual Wield! It might not be as broken here as it has been in Final Fantasy, but regardless of how useful you find it, it’s tough to find an ability that looks cooler, right? It’s nice to see Ninja make a comeback. Believe it!

    Origin: Bravely Second

Was It In Bravely Default?: No

Overview: This Job focuses on debuffing, and is said to be capable of inflicting ailments and lowering enemies' stats. Specific attacks seen thus far are "Charm Cake", which charms all enemies, and "Pie Meteor", which throws pies at an enemy until their stats go down.

Personal Thoughts: This is going to be one of the best games ever.

Asterisk Holder: Praline à la Mode

Origin: Final Fantasy V (called “Dancer”)

Was It In Bravely Default?: Yes

Overview: The Performer Job is purely supportive. They don’t have any decent methods of attacking nor the stats to make use of other Jobs’ abilities, and their defenses can make keeping them alive difficult to boot. Still, you definitely want to book them a gig, because they can give solid party-wide buffs and provide ever-handy BP boosts. Taking care of them gets easier once they learn the Buff Up support ability, which gives them a slight boost to all stats at the end of every turn, but you should still look into some abilities like P. Def Up or Armor Lore for their own safety.

Personal Thoughts: Talk about silly-looking! Try going into the most heartbreaking scene you can with two Elvis impersonators and two rabbit-eared idols and see if you can take it seriously. Well, it may seem gaudy, but Performer is actually a really nice Job to have around. Their innate ability to Save Singing MP makes all those buffs pretty cheap to maintain, allowing your healer to focus on, you know…healing, while the Performer keeps everyone strong. There’s also a simple pleasure in giving up a few measly MP to boost the BP of your physical powerhouse in preparation for one giant massacre. I’m glad we’ll still have these super-useful idols hanging around in Bravely Second. Besides, those goofy rabbit ears will actually make some sense on Magnolia!

    Asterisk Holder: Hayreddin Barbosa

Origin: Final Fantasy III (called Viking)

Was It In Bravely Default?: Yes

Overview: Pirates are axe-wielding powerhouses whose special abilities let them deal physical damage while simultaneously debuffing the target, making them great for any team. They also have powerful moves like Double Damage, Torrent, and Amped Strike, along with several abilities for raising their physical strength under certain conditions. A Pirate never stops swinging until the enemy is dead…which usually doesn’t take long!

Personal Thoughts: I’m psyched. Pirates are like an enhanced version of the old Berserker class, which seems interesting at first glance but isn’t actually all that useful. Pirate looks cool and is awesome. Heck, I don’t even use the debuff attacks that much, I just either spam Torrent against the final boss, or pair it with a Swordmaster so I can save up BP and use Free Lunch plus a series of Amped Strikes to decimate an enemy in one turn. Of course, axe specials only charge by defeating enemies, so if you’re going into a boss fight you might want to give them a Lore ability so they can charge specials a few times during the fight, but…that might be the only downside? I’m looking forward to using this Job again. I’m gonna be King of the Pirates!

    Asterisk Holder: Artemia Venus

    Origin: Final Fantasy III

Was It In Bravely Default?: Yes

Overview: A master of bows who can take down any kind of foe. As a Ranger levels up, they learn new Hunting commands that deal x1.5 damage to certain families of enemies (bugs, dragons, undead, etc), making it a great command set to master and equip on whatever physical powerhouse Job you like. The Targeting command it starts out with does x1.25, but pierces Default, letting it deal lots of damage right from the start. Mastering it will give you the Multiburst command, unleashing four attacks at once to pummel your enemy into defeat!

Personal Thoughts: How did I miss this? In going back over old articles, I noticed that it was mentioned that there was concern that Tomahawk might pose a threat to Ranger’s inclusion, but Asano, the producer, said that Ranger will be in Bravely Second! So, Ranger! As I said, Hunting commands are pretty nice no matter which Job you’re using, and they’re cheap MP-wise. Multiburst is an express lane to wonderful memories of Dual Wield-Spellblade-Rapid Fire (if a little less broken). With support abilities like Paralyze Immunity and Hawkeye for perfect accuracy, even if Ranger isn’t your preferred Job, it’s still one you want to invest in for its parts (I’m sure that’s something we can all relate to ), so I’m happy it’s coming back. I do hope we ditch the pelt helmets for the FF classic Robin Hood attire, though.

    Asterisk Holder: Fiore DeRosa

    Origin: Final Fantasy

Was It In Bravely Default?: Yes

Overview: As classic and iconic as you can get! The Red Mage has long been a Square Enix staple, a jack-of-all-trades who can cast a little White Magic, cast a little Black Magic, and swing a few swords. In Bravely Default they can cast all White and Black Magic spells through Level 4, giving them a very solid spellbook to work with, and they learn a variety of support abilities that give them chances to gain extra BP. Because of this, Red Mage is one of the most useful Jobs to invest in, because literally any Job can benefit from having boatloads of BP.

Personal Thoughts: Throughout Final Fantasy, Red Mages are generally known for having snazzy hats. In Bravely, the hats have been ditched in favor of flashy threads and I am totally okay with it. When you first get this Asterisk, it’s one of the greatest Jobs at your disposal. This Job can cast White Magic AND Black Magic AND cause decent physical damage AND has BP-raising support skills?! What more could you want! However, later in the game you start really needing Level 5 and 6 spells, and your characters will be able to equip high-level White or Black Magic from their other Jobs while using a main Job that is probably better at physical attacks than Red Mage. Still, all that investment certainly doesn’t go to waste—all those BP-boosting skills will serve you long after Red Mage outlives its usefulness as a main Job, so it’s still a very key Job to take care of. And did I mention the outfits? They’re gorgeous.

    Asterisk Holder: Mephilia Venus

    Origin: Final Fantasy III

Was It In Bravely Default?: Yes

Overview: Summons have been a fun part of Final Fantasy for very long time, and now they’re back again! Like the Black Mage, they focus entirely on magic, and when they run out of MP they’re in trouble. It doesn’t help that Summons have a high MP cost. However, Summons are a great way to cause massive damage to the entire field, not to mention they’re neat to watch! (And skippable.) They also learn abilities for improving Friend Summons, which makes them a bit more versatile.

Personal Thoughts: I love Summons. I also love that Bravely Default’s Summons are unique in that they’re all, like…legend-possessed things we find in our everyday world. I love Bahamut and Shiva and the rest of the FF gang, but it’s also really cool to see Summons that are, for lack of a better term, “modernized”. Like these are Summons we couldn’t have seen until fairly recently. (Except for Ziusudra’s Sin, who seems more like Shiva Jr. to me.) I do wish they could be cheaper in MP, but eh, it’s a trade-off. The method of getting summons in Bravely Default is also fairly unique, and my feelings on it can alternate. In Final Fantasy Summons can be bought, granted to you through certain story events, or fought as bosses and then earned upon defeat, depending on which game (and which Summon). In Bravely Default, the idea of them being bosses is tweaked a bit: when you challenge the “Anchorite” for the Summon (when you have at least one Summoner of high enough level), you will enter battle, but the Anchorite gets first strike and immediately uses the Summon. If at least one of your party members survives, then the battle ends and you get the Summon. Now, at first, this is really difficult and sort of frustrating. But, by the time you get to higher level Summons, you’ll have so many stats and abilities that this won’t be much of an issue, not to mention you start finding things to nullify or absorb the element that’s being thrown at you (meaning guaranteed Summon Get!). It’s unique, and I guess I like it as a whole. There’s just a bit of a slope at first. ALSO, Bravely Second will be getting at least one new Summon! I don’t know what the name is supposed to be, but it appears to be a large submarine. It’s possible this is replacing Ziusudra’s Sin as the water/ice summon, or that we’re just getting more Summons in addition to those that are returning. Or both. I would like to see new Summons, but with the way Summoner and Conjurer are set up I don’t know if there’s as much they can do to expand the Summon roster. Though, I guess if Conjurer didn’t come back…no, I’d rather have Conjurer than more Summons.

Asterisk Holder: Kamiizumi (in Bravely Default)

Origin: Final Fantasy V (called “Samurai”)

Was It In Bravely Default?: Yes

Overview: Despite their name, katana are actually the preferred weapon of a Swordmaster. Their Bushido skills allow them to wield the blades expertly, predicting their enemies’ moves and preparing devastating counterattacks to throw them off-guard. A Swordmaster will also sometimes immediately counter after being attacked (or attack again after a standard attack) without using up any BP. And, for those able to master the way of the sword/katana, one of the most legendary abilities awaits you…

Personal Thoughts: While Swordmasters are clearly based on the Samurai of Final Fantasy fame, they’ve given up their traditional ability of throwing money at people (see Merchant) and instead focus on counters named after old sayings. Oh, and the beautifully broken Free Lunch ability you get for mastering the Job. (No MP cost, on anything, for two turns. Doesn’t cost any MP or extra BP to use. Combine this with a Pirate who has 4 BP and watch the endless carnage.) Kamiizumi is no pushover, and Swordmaster can be a bit tricky since it works best when you predict the enemy’s actions, but the Job is definitely worth the trouble. It’s also the source of Katana Lore, and the game’s strongest Katana (Ama-no-Murakumo) is the weapon with the best stats in the game, so…you definitely want to go for that. I’m super excited to see this Job returning, and I look forward to seeing how broken it will be in Bravely Second.

    Asterisk Holder: Braev Lee

    Origin: Final Fantasy Tactics

Was It In Bravely Default?: Yes

Overview: Templars are masters of offense as well as defense. Their armor can take the harshest punishment, and their swords can deal it back tenfold. They have access to several attacks using the rare Light element, and can store up to 4 BP rather than the default 3. Templars like to focus on critical hits, and have abilities that enable critical hits on magic and even items, in addition to a guaranteed critical hit attack and an ability for raising the damage (or healing for some magic and items) of critical hits. If you’ve got luck on your side, this Job is unstoppable!

Personal Thoughts: Honestly I haven’t tinkered with the crit abilities yet, but it’s a powerful and cool-looking Job so I like it. No matter what, you should definitely get BP Limit Up for everyone, since more BP is never a bad thing. The Light attacks also help against Gigas Lich, who can be a real pain, though they might not see a whole lot of other use. The mandatory Council Jobs you get right before the Earth Crystal are mostly upgraded version of the Sky Knight classes, and this is a vast improvement over Knight, so I am glad to see this return. There are also story implications to wonder about…

    Asterisk Holder: The Jackal

    Origin: Final Fantasy

Was It In Bravely Default?: Yes

Overview: An agile melee fighter, the Thief is best known for, well…stealing stuff. They’re not particularly strong and not particularly sturdy, but if your Thief stays light on their feet, they can slip around enemy attacks and relieve them of precious items. This is a must for any hoarder!

Personal Thoughts: Eh, I’m about 50/50 on Thief. Stealing is nice, but even if you’re doing it as a Thief, I feel like the chance of success isn’t super high, and if it’s regular Steal then you might end up completely wasting a turn. Mug makes them a lot more usable. There’s also the extremely interesting Godspeed Strike command, which calculates damage using speed rather than attack—it’s quite useful, as I recall. Oh, and Raid is an excellent support ability, so I would recommend getting that at the very least.

Asterisk Holder: Eloch Quentis Khamer VIII

    Origin: Final Fantasy V

Was It In Bravely Default?: Yes

Overview: Time Magic focuses on messing with time to raise or lower target’s speed, and it also grants powerful spells such as Gravity, Meteor, and Reraise. It also contains the Quake spells, allowing for some inexpensive Earth-element damage early in the game. (Though by the time you get Quaga, you’ll probably be opting for Summoner’s Girtablulu instead.) Time Mages are also known for their Slow World and Hasten World support abilities—they can be tricky to take advantage of, but a master can use them to take control of any battle.

Personal Thoughts: Time Mages have always had somewhat questionable taste in headwear, but Bravely Default really dialed up the weirdness. Magnolia is sporting a slightly different look in Bravely Second, but I can’t decide if it’s just as weird or even weirder. Anyway, I got a good amount of use out of Time Mage: I’ve been around long enough to know what Haste and Gravity can do, and I wasn’t about to miss that. Personally, Slow World and Hasten World sound too difficult for me, and I’ve only used Hasten World because I was told it would make the final boss easy. (It does.) You should definitely take a look at Time Mage, but don’t feel bad if you find it’s not your thing.

    Asterisk Holder: Amy Matchlock

    Origin: Bravely Second

Was It In Bravely Default?: No

Overview: This Job seems to specialize in the new gun weaponry that will be available in Bravely Second. We have also been told that it possesses buffs and abilities for hitting all enemies. In addition, it seems that Amy can light her arrows on fire—how this might translate to the playable Job remains to be seen.

Personal Thoughts: The first brand-new Job we had confirmed! This will probably be our Gun Lore Job, and I’m cool with that: Tomahawk has a unique look to it, and it sounds very adaptable. If I had a concern, it would be that the fire arrow could be something greater that might threaten Spell Fencer’s chances of making the cut, but I don’t think I need to worry about that really. Welcome to the roster, Tomahawk!
  25. Pahrak Model ZX
    Asterisk Holder: Einheria Venus

Origin: Final Fantasy II (character), Final Fantasy III (Job) (called “Dragoon” in both)

Was It In Bravely Default?: Yes

Overview: Heavily-armored lance-specialists known for their jumping ability. Valkyrie is a powerful Job, starting out with an ability that allows it to attack the entire field at once, and then learning various jump attacks that prevents it from taking damage for a time before unleashing a powerful move. They also have a variety of nifty ways to manipulate MP and BP, as well as learning how to pierce Default, making them a tricky foe to take down.

Personal Thoughts: Crescent Moon alone is enough to make this Job worth equipping as soon as you get it, and it only gets better from there. Jump and its variants have always been interesting: while you will avoid all damage while you’re in the air, you also can’t be healed, so it can be risky in a tough fight. Still, I’m sure many players find Jump very nostalgic and are perfectly willing to spam it, and hey, if it works, it works. Visually they’re a bit brighter than what I’ve come to expect from Dragoons, and then there’s the matter of the ridiculous skirt spears on the female costume. It looks weird at first, but you get used to it. I'm looking forward to using it again.
