This past summer has been fun. I've just come back from summer camp, where I learned nothing and did nothing except own at Pokémon. There was this one time where we visited the Forbidden Palace (More like the fifth time for me) and boy was it boring. Don't get me wrong, the Palace is an amazing place every visitor to China should visit. But when all you do is walk from the entrance straight (and literally straight) to the exit, it gets a little bit less amusing. I'm serious. This is all we did.
The funnest part to that day was when me and my friend started randomly waving at the buses. Lots of activity there, see, but the best look a local gave us was . The foreigners, however, were seriously psyched. They took pictures of us and everything. Then the Mexican tour bus came along.
Two words: totally owned.
They even showed us their flag (and by now everybody in the camp had joined me and my friend) and we went crazy, they went crazy, it was crazy. The teachers were none too amused, but who cares.
Other stuff I did. Ah yes. I've gotten back into the RPGing mood, kinda. Big progress on the Academy, I'm still working on a big post of the Search for Metru Nui. Man, Cee, come the heck back.
I'm working on a Birthday Flash animation for Hapori Tohu. It's late, and it'll arriver even later, but I want it to look good. So far it's going along nicely.
Also planning a new epic - Chronicles of War. I might make it into a epi-comic, I'm not sure. Anywhoj, it involves BZPower again, but instead of it being the classic BZMetru vs. Spammers it's BZMetru vs. BZMetru. Yup, Civil War.
Getting a GameCube soon. If we can bargain for one in China. Yes, it'll be real. Hopefully I'll be able to find GC games at my local bargaining-mart...
Just to clear things up, China is not as bad as it sounds. It may sound as if it's a place where everything is fake, dirty, you have no freedom, or running water (which is what some people chose to think) but that's just a stereotypical comment. It's like saying the US is one of the most dangerous places in the world because it's full of 'gangsters' - exactly, it's not true.
What else...ah yes. Into my Naruto/Nintendo phase. The two 'N's, I guess. In fact, that reminds me:
