    Giant Bird

This random creature flew into the series in Godzilla vs. The Sea Monster. Special powers? You're seriously not going to ask that question are you? It's a bird! It's not Rodan or Varan. It's just a GIANT CONDOR. What did it do? Well it pecked at Godzillas face for about a minute, then proceeded to get roasted by atomic breath. (What did you expect?) Not only is this the worst monster in the series, it's also the worst monster fight in the series. The camera angles were awful, and it ended as fast as it started.

As James Rolfe put it. "Should have been The Giant Claw." Link

That's it for this top ten list. I hope you enjoyed it. I apologize if you didn't agree with some of my choices, and have a great Halloween.

    Gigan

Yup. My favorite Godzilla enemy is Gigan! Gigan made his first appearance in Godzilla vs. Gigan. (Don‘t complain, most of them are named that way). Gigan is a space monster ,which means he came from another planet. He also teamed up with Megalon in Godzilla vs. Megalon, and was revamped for Godzilla Final Wars. In Godzilla Final Wars there were two types of Gigan, one with hooks for hands, and one with chain saws for hands!

Gigan’s weaponry consists of his hook hands (of course), a saw blade on his stomach, and lasers he can shoot out of his eyes.

Trying to explain why I like Gigan is easy. Because he’s awesome! Trying to explain what Gigan looks like though is quite hard, but also fun. He has sails on his back like a Spinosaurus, spikes on his head and tail, has a beak, has one eye, has hooks for hands, and saw blades on his stomach! That’s awesome! I can’t imagine how they could make this up! Gigan also has one of the coolest roars ever. If I could make any sound, I would sound like Gigan. If you haven’t heard it before, go to a video viewing site and watch a video of Gigan real quick! That’s all I can think of to say about that.

That’s about wraps up Bionicle Raptor’s Top 5 Godzilla Enemies. Maybe next year I’ll do something similar, I might even blog more often. Thanks for reading, and Happy Halloween!

    Gorosaurus
Gorosaurus made his first debute in King Kong Escapes, where he fought against Kong. Much like the original King Kong film. He also made an appearance in Destroy All Monsters, and other Godzilla films. He's most know for his gravity defying Kangaroo Kick! Gorosaurus is on the list mainly because because of his blandness. He's a Dinosaur, and that's about it. Actually I like him a lot, but still. He's not all that special. Sorry Gorosaurs.

    Destoroyah

Destoroyah was first featured in Godzilla vs. Destoroyah, starting to see a trend here? Another one of Godzilla’s most powerful enemies. Destoroyah had three forms, one was a crab like creature, then a flying form, and finally the demonic form. Actually Destoroyah during the movie is called Destroyer, but it seems Toho (the creators of Godzilla) did not have the copyright to call the monster Destroyer. So they went with the next random thing.

Destoroyah’s powers are based around an oxygen destroying element. These same attributes were used to create the oxygen destroyer bomb, which killed the original Godzilla in the 1954 movie. Destroyah also has the ability to change it’s forms at will and even separate itself to make small versions of it’s crab-like form, and then reassemble again. On top of that Destoroyah has a laser horn that can cut through just about anything.

What’s Destroyah’s gender you may ask? Well some say that in crab form, Destoroyah has a triangular shaped torso that only female crabs possess. So it may be that Destoroyah is a female! But it seems that in the Godzilla games Destoroyah is a male. So I guess you can pick which ever gender you want!

I can’t really explain why I like this monster. It’s just that Destoroyah is again out of the ordinary. In fact he/she/it looks kind of scary. Yeah were getting some good looking girls here aren’t we? Destoroyah’s roar is pretty cool too. So if you watch any Godzilla movie other than the first one (which you should), you should take a look at Godzilla vs. Destoroyah.

(PS. To Chan’e) Destoroyah has the tongue with a mouth from Alien.

    Minilla

Minilla was hatched in Son of Godzilla, and appeared in others Godzilla movies. Including a re-vamp in Final Wars. His abilities are blowing smoke rings and whining like a donkey. Sooooo. Why do I dislike Minilla? Well, not only do I think Godzilla didn't need a son, but not a deformed Barnie The Dinosaur looking one. He didn't even fight very well most of the time. Plus. How do they even know if it's Godzillas actual son? He's a male. He couldn't have laid eggs, and there isn't really any other Godzillas to... um.. you know.

If you want to see a good example of Godzilla offspring, watch the 90's series and enjoy Godzilla Jr.

    Gabara

Gabara reared his ugly mug in Godzillas Revenge / or All Monsters Attack. Gabara is a.... aahhhh... I guess he's like a humanoid cat? His powers are that he can make electricity come out of his fists. With the last few monsters I gave them a hard time on their lack of creativity. But with Gabara, it's like they went off the deep end. I've seen monsters from Power Rangers that look better. Plus he has one of the most annoying roars ever.

Anyway. He's one of the worst monsters ever from the worst Godzilla movie ever.
  7. Brappy Hour
    Mechagodzilla

Mechagodzilla made his first appearance in Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla, duh. He is considered to be one of Godzilla’s greatest enemies, and possibly his arch nemesis. There have been many forms of Mechagodzilla. The original Mechgodzilla, which was introduced in 1974, Mechagodzilla II (1993), and Mechagodzilla III also named Kiryu (2002).

Mechagodzilla has a HUGE arsenal of weapons, but it depends on which version you’re interested in. Lasers, missiles, freeze rays, eyes beams, shields, the works!

Why do I like Mechagodzilla? Think about it. What’s better than Godzilla? A Robot Godzilla! Especially when he shoots lasers and missiles!

    Biollante

Biollante made her first appearance in Godzilla vs. Billante. She is the product of a combination of plant matter and the cells of Godzilla. At a first glance, Biollante to some may look like a cross between a Venus Fly Trap with a Crocodile head.

Yes, Biollante is a female. Her abilities are to use her many arms for combat and can spray a sort of acid from her mouth.

Biollante is favorable because she is an over looked enemy, and her look stands out amongst the other enemies Godzilla has fought. Not to mention she looks really scary for a female monster. Not as cuddly as Mothra is she?

    Ebirah
Ebirah swam out of the ocean in Godzilla vs. The Sea Monster, and returned in Final Wars. As you can see, Ebirah is a GIANT LOBSTER.....
Other than that my biggest complaint is, when I thought of Godzilla vs. The Sea Monster. I expected an interesting monster with tentacles or a shark monster. Not a giant lobster.

On a side note. Just because these monsters are on the list, doesn't mean I hate them. I like Kamacuras, and Kumonga is cool to. But just think of all the other interesting and cool monsters Toho could have created, instead of super-sizing animals.
  10. Brappy Hour
    Kumonga

Kumonga was also in Son of Godzilla, as well as being re-vamped in Final Wars. But he was also in Destroy All Monsters. He shoots webs, and that's it.... Just like Kamacurus he's on the fail scale because he's just a GIANT SPIDER. So there's not much else to say.

All we need now is some GIANT GRASSHOPPERS, and we can have a giant insect food web. (Don't worry, there aren't any.)
  11. Brappy Hour
    Titanosaurus

Titanosaurus made his first appearance in Terror of MechaGodzilla, the sequal to Godzilla vs. Mecha Godzilla. As some have said, Titanosaurus was a more aquatic version of Godzilla, and the look was pretty interesting.

Titanosaurus didn’t really have any special powers, but he did use his webbed tail to create cyclones, so I guess that counts.

I just like Titanosaurus for some reason, and not just because he’s a dinosaur. To me he had unique design, even though some might argue that he looks generic. His roar was neat to hear and of a different variety, but with other viewers they say it’s annoying and more so of a bad cackle.

The only other movie Titanosaurus made an appearance in was when a clip of him was shown in Godzilla Final Wars, as an example of monsters that were a menace to humanity. A somewhat cameo if you will.

  12. Brappy Hour
    Kamacuras

Kamacuras flew into the scene in Son of Godzilla, and was re-vamped in Godzilla Final Wars. He can use camouflage and fly at super fast speeds. What's wrong with this monster? He's a GIANT MANTIS. That's it. A giant bug. It doesn't take too much creativity to super-size a bug. And seriously. If you never saw these movies, would you even believe that Godzilla fought a giant bug? It doesn't matter if Kamacurus is cool. It's lack of creativity.
  13. Brappy Hour
    Zilla

Zilla or American Godzilla was featured it the U.S. remake of Godzilla. All that this monster is, is a mutated giant Iguana, that's it. Some feel that this monster was so disappointing, that he didn't even deserve the title Godzilla. So Toho renamed the monster Zilla. Plus he was featured in Godzilla Final Wars, getting disintegrated in seconds by the real Godzilla. He's not that awful of a monster. He looks kind of cool actually. You'll see worse soon.

I guess next time we make a U.S. design of Godzilla, we should use some creativity.
  14. Brappy Hour
    Jet Jaguar

Jet Jaguar fought alongside Godzilla in Godzilla vs. Megalon. The best description of him is that he's a robot built by a child that can change sizes and fight. Well that sounds just plain silly. He also has a weird look to him, but that's because he was actually designed by a 10 (or younger, idk) year old for a design a character contest. So that's why Jet Jaguar's on the list. He's just a silly monster. Sorry to any Jet Jaguar fans!
  15. Brappy Hour
    Hedorah
Hedorah appeared in Godzilla vs. Hedorah (Godzilla vs. The Smog Monster for older fans). He also got his butt kicked in Godzilla Final Wars. Anyway Hedorah is literally made of pollution. Slimey gunky nasty filthy disgusting pollution. He can transform into a flight mode and back to a pile of filth. He blinded Godzilla with nasty goo and turned people into skeletons by dispersing toxic gas into the air. Obviously Hedorah isn't a very likable or a cool monster. He's too disgusting to be enjoyed. Just like the horrible movie he was featured in.

Got a couple patches that I got from people who went to the Boy Scout 2010 National Jamboree.

I didn't go because this summer I needed to work and other stuff like BrickFair was on the calendar. Plus since I'm not an actual Boy Scout anymore (Assistant Scoutmaster), I thought others deserved to go more than me. But since my dad was the Scoutmaster for this one I decided to see if there were any cool patches..... There was.

    Plus I went in 2005.

Anyway. Here's what I got.... So far.

    OA Flap
    Back Patch

    Utah National Park Scoutmaster patch

Speaking of Boy Scout stuff. I'll be away this weekend for an OA ordeal. B)

Last night, I had a dream that I was at BrickFair again. I was having lots of fun, and I was getting to know all the people I met before better, it felt so real! but then....... We were stuck in a motel, defending ourselves against Necromorphs..... I was really nervous, and scared for everyone. Black Six was in charge. Everyone wanted to leave and try their best and get away, but I tried to urge them to stay.... Then I woke up.... Thank God.

I guess that's my punishment for playing too much Dead Space 2.

If you don't know what a Necromorph is, then consider yourself lucky.

Sorry if I creeped you out. I just had to tell someone.

Did they just shoehorn an entire years worth of story and sets in a 20 minute show? Seriously?
And yet Ninjago and Chima get entire seasons.
Why does LEGO care so little about this series?

I left this comment after watching the new Hero Factory "Webisode". Which is just Hero Factory episode 9. On the video hosting site I left it on I received a couple replies, and to my surprise none of were negative. They were all positive towards my response.
If you wish to see why I made this comment, and why I and many others feel this way. I suggest you watch this "webisode" and see for yourself.

However there will be a series of books written by the great Greg Farshtey, as well as rumors that there may be more episodes for this year, but that doesn't help the fact that this whole event that they were advertising to be a huge battle, wasn't huge at all. It was seriously underwhelming. It's as if they made any one of the Bionicle movies 20 minutes long.

It seems like LEGO is caring less and less every year. It was disappointing enough that there was only two episode for last year, and only half of that years sets were featured.

Perhaps I'll dive into this more later. I don't know. I'm just hoping I can be more active around BZP.

    Thanks for reading, Raptor

Recently, I discovered that I was running out of memory for content on my Xbox 360 hard drive. So I thought I might as well get a slim and upgrade, instead of getting another hard drive. If I was going to get any 360 slim, I wanted the Halo Reach one, but I didn't want to pay $600 on eBay for it. I went to all the big stores today looking for it. All the techies were like, "It's been sold out forever". So that was discouraging. The last store was Best Buy. I looked at the consoles and didn't see it. I was frustrated and wanted to leave, but my dad was with me, and asked an employee if they had any.

It turns out that while sorting out the Kinexts 2 days before. They found a Halo Reach console hidden behind them, and put it on the front desk of the store for product showcase. I was blown away in excitement. I had found what I had been looking for. Thanks Dad.

The bad news is.... I'm just about broke.

Does anyone want to buy a Xbox 360 classic with 2 controllers? Or a copy of Halo Reach?
  22. Brappy Hour
Yes you read me right. I'm currently conducting a trade with a BZP member from across the ocean, and what did I get you might ask. Breez 4.0 and Thornraxx. The two Hero Factory sets that have yet to be released tin the U.S. This is probrably the first time I've done this, and to make it even better Breez and Thornraxx are pretty awesome sets. Perhaps some the best of the year so far.

I'd like to thank Toatapio Nuva for sending me these awesome sets, and I'll be sending you your half of the trade a.s.a.p.

    Thanks for reading, Raptor.

Yes. I got a shining Raikou today at Gamestop. I was dumb enough to not figure out that you had to pre-order Pokemon Black or White to get the shining dogs. Whatever. I was going to get the game eventually anyway.

You need all three shining doggies to unlock a certain Pokemon in White & Black. So I guess it's worth a $5 payment.

Maybe I can hold on to it just in case Nikira needs it.
