    Yes. On my visit to a Super Walmart out of town. I found the four main villains from Hero Factory. For some reason they didn't have anything else. I only had enough to buy two. So I bought Xplode and Thunder.
     
    For some reason the boxes are very large, but the sets are about the size of a regular Bionicle canister set. Other than that, the sets were fun to build. I like the colors and the designs of the parts and helmets. Though I don't think I liked putting Thunder's stickers on so much.
     
    Anyway. I enjoyed building these sets very much. So I think I'll try the Heroes next and see how they hold up.

    Even though it's almost the end of 2010, and the one thing that brought us together ended this year. Lets not think of the sadness that endings bring, but the beginnings that brought us to the things that we loved and enjoyed. Here's to a brand new year, and more joyous beginnings.

    Megaman?

    I finished playing Megaman Zero 4 last weekend, and after seeing the new Hero Factory enemies I realized something. They remind me strongly of Megaman enemies. The reason is the different bosses from different areas of random elements that cause trouble so that Megaman/The Hero's have to go to to stop them. Here's how I see it.
     
    Xplode = Bomb Man
    Meltdown = Radioactive Man
    Corroder = Rust Man
    Thunder = Metal Man
    Rotor = Copter Man
    Von Nebula = Dr. Wily

    Oh yeah. Great names by the way. I guess it saved Lego a few brain cells this year.

    It seems there won't be a Dragonzord re-release. At least this year. Next year hopefully.

    Odd Man Out

    I feel right writing for some reason lately. So why not express my opinion tonight?
     
    Now that Bionicle has ended. Many fans or collectors are directing their attention to other LEGO products, mostly Bionicle's replacement Hero Factory. Some others (like me), are even buying items that aren't even LEGO products at all.
    A lot of times I'm asked if I'll buy the Hero Factory sets. My reply is no, on the basis that it isn't Bionicle and that there isn't a point in buying them if they have nothing to do with Bionicle. The response from others is "You're stubborn and have no taste. They're made just like Bionicle sets so you should give them a chance". So that's the reason? Because they look like Bionicle sets and even are made of the same parts I should instantly take interest? I don't really see the point in that. It seems even weirder that people are jumping on the HF bandwagon just for this reason alone without even a thought. I guess you could lie to yourself and think it's Bionicle In the Future if you're that much in denial.
     
    Anyway, I don't hate Hero Factory. I just don't see why I should like it. By all means if you enjoy it please love it until your hearts content, but I'll pass.

    I came back from my Order of The Arrow trip today. Last night I was nominated and chosen along with a few others to receive the rank of Vigil Member, the highest rank you can be in the Order of The Arrow. It's a great honor to be nominated out of the many members of my lodge, and being recognized for the work and duties I do for it. It's a great feeling, as well as a awesome surprise.
     

    I won't be getting the rank till later this year of course, but it's exciting enough to know you're getting it.

    Continuing from yesterday. The final idea chosen from my class mates and I was Halo's. The next part of the project was to create a rough draft image of the product label.

    You guessed right. I was able to get Corroder and Meltdown today.
     
    I'm definitely not liking the sets of stickers you have to put on them. It also seems that they all have the same torso. Not that it's bad, but it just got a bit tiring. We had a dozen different torsos from 2009. Also, their only main weapons are their "Comet Blasters". It seems though that Thunder has a weapon function. Which is just opening and closing his hand.
     
    I'm wondering why Xplode is the only villain to have hands. The rest have those blocky things that you can attach different things to make a weapon or a part of armor.
     
    Lots of the same leg builds and arms are present as well. The Ben 10 leg joints are there as well as the new parts that of course make their debut with Hero Factory.
     
    When you look at them. They look pretty small compared to last years sets. I think it was a terrible thing of LEGO to do to make the boxes huge so you wouldn't think twice on spending $13 for a build-able action figure. But it's advertising and business. Blah blah blah.
     
    Anyway. They were fun to build, even though each cost $13. Geez.
    What I'm hoping to try is a Hero or the Limited Edition set with Duncan Bulk and Vapor.
     
    Dang it. I still need to make a BrickFair entry.

    Quick Update

    My business partner EW spoke to me earlier this afternoon and made a suggestion. B) So I've made a revision to the shirt ordering.
     
    Shirts can be pre-ordered, but you can't receive them until BrickFair. The only way you can reserve a shirt is if you pay the cost for one, and then pick it up when you arrive at the convention. So that everyone who is at the convention has a chance to get one.
     
    Does that sound fair to everyone?

    A while ago I met a nice young woman here on BZP. We chatted once in a while and became friends. About over 6 months ago we started running into each other more often than usual. We found that we shared a lot in common and that we enjoyed each others company..... a lot. So I asked her if she would be my girlfriend. Suprisinly she agreed. So we became a BZP couple.
     
    After a while of PMing each other through BZP and other sites, We exchanged phone numbers and pictures to strengthen our relationship. We have exchanged secrets and made promises to each other that hopefully will stay strong. We both have our faults, but in we help each other with our troubles. As well as encourage each other to do their best at what they do. I hope to do my best as a boyfriend and make her happy as much as possible.
     
    The point? I love my girlfriend. toa of life. And I couldn't ask for anyone better.

    Brickfair T-shirts

    Hi guys. I wanted to bring up a subject I've been discussing with Nukaya for a little while. You see I have a graphics class, and we are able to put designs on shirts by using a method of screen printing. So I thought it would be a fun idea to make some T-shirts for fellow BZP members who are going to attend BrickFair, just for fun ya know.
     
    I probably couldn't come up with a neat design by my self, so I was wondering if anyone would like to share any ideas for shirt designs, and the colors of the shirts. I guess if wanted or needed I could hold a contest for best idea. Just remember to keep it a somewhat simple idea okay?
     
    The price wouldn't be much, just the price of a blank t-shirt. So don't worry.

    Game Over

    Yes. Last night I finally finished Endure. The last Vidmaster Achievement I needed. Now I'm sporting some Recon shoulders and have one hundred percent completion on Halo 3 and Halo 3 ODST.
     
    I'd like to thank Potu, Jack of Blades, and of course Kiba. Who stayed up till twelve o'clock to help me get this headache of an achievement. I can't thank them enough.
     
    Best of all. I finished before the Halo Reach Beta starting Monday. It's going to be a blast.
     
    Who else is looking forward to Reach?

    Just wanted to let you all know in case you didn't already. It's double experience points for Transformers: War For Cybertron multiplayer for the remainder of this weekend. As well as 8 times the experience in Gears of War 2 until July 6th.
     
    So go on to getting those upper rank achievements!
     
    BTW- I think Scientist may be my favorite class in Transformers.

    I thought it would be fun to show you the steps of making a project in my graphics class.
    The idea this time was to make a cereal box design and make it fit onto a box to make it look like it was an actual cereal product. The first steps for any project of course was to think of an idea of what to use for a cereal product. Also, a name would have to be catchy and make people want to buy the product.

    Yeah. I was wondering if I should bring some stuff to trade/sell at BrickFair (other than the shirts). Just for the sake of getting rid of stuff and making space.
     
    I could bring masks and sets. Maybe some other goodies I've never told anyone about.
     
    I just hope I can fit it all in Dad's truck.

    Gabara reared his ugly mug in Godzillas Revenge / or All Monsters Attack. Gabara is a.... aahhhh... I guess he's like a humanoid cat? His powers are that he can make electricity come out of his fists. With the last few monsters I gave them a hard time on their lack of creativity. But with Gabara, it's like they went off the deep end. I've seen monsters from Power Rangers that look better. Plus he has one of the most annoying roars ever.

    Anyway. He's one of the worst monsters ever from the worst Godzilla movie ever.

    Let me explain. My parents have left for vacation for one week, which leaves me to fend for myself until they get back. I also have to take care of my seven week old puppy Willow, which is almost as bad as taking care as a human infant. This makes it impossible to do many things, including playing my Xbox. Now I'm alone and bored.
     
    Oh yeah. I'm also stuck at the house, because I'm not allowed to drive on my own yet due to my epilepsy. So I can't leave this house other than being taken to school. Can't really do anything outside either because it's freezing and there's snow everywhere.
     
    At least I have the laptop. *waits for laptop to combust spontaneously*
