Well, it appears I (thankfully) missed another blow-up on here. I have no clue what happened, but I assume someone made an insensitive or offensive comment and people took offense to it. If that's the case, (s)he probably deserved it... But that's not the biggest problem I see here.

The community is split in half. One half has one view, one half the other. Most people are respectful, but a few on both sides can't stand everyone on the other. That is a major problem. A split of opinion is not a bad things - much good has come from people who have different views, but respect each other and try and get around those differences. Thomas Jefferson and John Adams are a good example, and in more recent times it would be George H. W. Bush and Bill Clinton. No good can come from people - regardless of which side they stand on, which beliefs they endorse, which religion they are - disrespecting huge chunks of society. People who think everyone that disagrees with them is a disgusting bigot who deserves to be belittled, ridiculed, and robbed of the respect that we all as human beings are entitled to are the problem in our society. Being a 'tolerant' person does not give you the excuse to treat others poorly, and being a 'righteous' person does not give you a right to treat others poorly... As a matter of fact, nothing gives you the right to treat others poorly.

I can't speak for everyone who believes what I do, but I believe that everyone is equal and that, regardless of how you see someone else's beliefs or lifestyle, they are human and you are just as messed up as they are. I believe we share more in common than not, and I believe we would truly understand our neighbor more if we laid down the pitchforks and started talking about things. Does that mean that you can't disagree with someone, or view something they do as wrong? Of course it doesn't - we are given a moral compass for a reason, and calling out true evil deserves to be done. But it does mean you should treat them as you would treat yourself, your family, your friends, your beliefs, and your country. I'm not perfect, and I mess up on this a lot... But I want to strive to view things that way. And you know what? Nothing can excuse not reaching out to someone. If you disagree with them, guess what? That's life. Nobody is going to think exactly the way you do, and you are going to disagree with people. To me, I think if we could just sit down and talk, we'd find more in common than you might think. We are all human, and most all of us strive to do what is right by our beliefs and our country... Even if it is just that little, that's still a great thing we share. You might have to agree to disagree, but who knows - maybe that could help you, and your opposite, out a little bit. People are different - we're all different - but we are all people.

But, it's a shame that such an event could likely never happen here. It pains me to see this community I've been a part of for a third of my life be torn apart by intolerance from people, and that's really all I'm getting at. Can't we just agree to disagree, get on with our lives, and get back to being the best LEGO community on the internet? I miss the days when I could truly say that about our community. I miss the days when, instead of yelling at each other and taking sides and names, we could just talk about our shared interest.

PYONGYANG, DEMOCRATIC PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF KOREA - Kim Jong-un, the Supreme Leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), has announced with much fanfare that the mighty People's Navy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (PNDPRK) will invade the United States. The boat, manned by skilled Korean soldiers, will be launched today and is scheduled to land in America some time in the next 24 months; in a show of support, Supreme Seader Kim Jong-un will ride with the soldiers on their quest to destroy America. Surely the Americans will be unable to defeat PNDPRK with the aid of Dear Leader.

In a statement Dear Leader stated that, while launching nuclear missiles was considered, such an attack would be unfair to the Americans due to the overwhelming power of the People's Army of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (PADPRK). Instead, the glorious power of the Koreans will be demonstrated by attacking on the sea. "America has no chance to defeat the Navy of the People," Dear Leader Kim Jong-un reiterated. "We urge the American capitalists to surrender immediately or face destruction".

Under the leadership of Eternal President Kim Il-sung and Supreme Leader Kim Jong-il, the DPRK has emerged as the world's leading power in sports, military, and economics. They have won the last 15 FIFA World Cups and established themselves as the world leaders in baseball, basketball, hockey, and handball. The citizens of DPRK also enjoy much greater lives than those of global capitalists; the rice ration was doubled from 1 kg a year to 2 kgs a year, a far higher rice ration than any other country on Earth. Under the leadership of Kim Jong-un DPRK is ready to destroy South Korea reunify with South Korea and then expand communism globally.

I finally got lucky with packs yesterday. I got a 99, two-star Antonio Gates basketball card as part of a Legendary pack. These go for anywhere from 60,000 to 120,000 on auction, but it is a very good gameplay card, so I'm debating what to do with it. I've also finally settled on a team name, the 'FightingSheldns' (bonus points if you get the reference).

Animal Crossing: New Leaf is fantastic. My town, Ericton (before you ask, yes, my name is Eric and yes, I named the town after myself), is growing quite rapidly and it's all thanks to my beetle farming hard work and determination! I've already got three bridges, a fountain, and a two-story house with a basement coming tomorrow.

I just love the way this game works - it almost seems like a sequel to both the first one (one of my favorite games of all time) and City Folk, because all of the features in them are either here or heavily improved upon. Town modifications are a natural progression from the first game's signboards and random bridge creations, and the more functional island and Main Street (which is what the city should have been like) bring out the best of both games. I know some people are going gaga over the addition of shoes and pants/dresses, but it's not a big deal to me - I've never really cared about accessories (aside from the Link costume in City Folk. That was pretty cool.). There is one minor fault with this, though - my brother found a beard and kaffiyeh at Able Sisters and the natural reaction was 'I'm going to be Moses!', but having a toga with pants was just weird and trying the toga as a dress looked really, really weird. So yeah, you can't really make a convincing Moses in this game, which is a shame cause Moses is freaking awesome to have as a costume in AC.

Moses aside, I really like this game. It's as close as Animal Crossing has ever gotten to recreating the feel and experience of the first one, and that is pretty freaking awesome. For the record, here are how I would rank all the Animal Crossing games:
    1. The original (the absolute best one, with so many features that it is just as fun to jump in today as it was in 2002)
    2. New Leaf
    3. City Folk (I know some people hate it, but I thought it was fun for a while)
    4. Wild World (If you have New Leaf, you don't ever need to buy this game. It isn't bad, but it ripped out a lot of what made the first one so great.)

There is no question in modern society that people in general don't respect other people, especially in arguments. For some, it is because they don't feel like others deserve their respect due to some aspect of their person. For others, it is because the other person don't believe exactly what they believe. Both sides are wrong - respect is a two-way street.

Calling people names or accusing them of being 'sexist', for example, is not acceptable in an argument. Take a look at this image:

That is the argument pyramid. As you can see, calling someone a name like 'sexist' clearly falls all the way at the bottom of the pyramid. If you were in a real debate, you would be looked at as a fool for using any of the bottom four arguments even once. If one of the candidates called each other a nasty name in a Presidental debate, you would see his popularity fall because it simply isn't befitting of a leader to be name-calling. If you have the better stance, try to prove it through one of the top three - it does not reflect well on you or what you support to call people names instead of proving why they are wrong. Instead of insulting the other person, a cheap distractionary tactic in a debate that gives you little to no merit, try and use the top three - any of them are great ways to support your view. You are the representative of your stance in a debate - try to act like it.

    So in short:
    a) Respect other people even if they disagree with you or even if you don't feel like they deserve it
    and
    b) Don't resort to the bottom four levels of the pyramid; use the top three and prove your point through logic and reason.

With the new brickshelf images, I'll post my thoughts on them:

    MISTIKA:

    TAHU

First off, he looks like Tahu. He still is red, he still has a Hau Nuva, and he still has silver armor. Very good mask style, with the sleek look. The weapon, what looks like an offensive sheild, is also sleek, and the blades make it better for attacking, which suits Tahu's personality well, as he. However, the leg blades look weird on him, and there is a lot of silver (which is fine by me). The 12.99 price tag is a bit menacing though for not much more pieces. I will surely buy him. The Nynrah Ghost Blaster looks like a good new addition to the projectile library.

    GALI

This is probably the Toa Mistika that is the underdog for BIONICLE fans that have been around since 2001. She doesn't look very much like 2002 Gali Nuva, but it still is a decent Gali set, because Gali Nuva did not look alot like Gali Mata. The oddity about this set is that, unlike Kopaka, who can take his blade off of his projectile weapon, Gali has no weapon at all other than her Nynrah Ghost Blaster. However, she does have a neat lazer/crosshair attachment for it to replace that. Considering that, her shoulder armor looks neat, and her mask is very odd looking for a Toa of Water with the wings on it. I will still probably buy it though. The Nynrah Ghost Blaster looks like a good new addition to the projectile library.

    ONUA

Now, onto Onua... He looks the worst out of the Toa Mistika to me (Although I might buy him because I like Onua). His mask looks like a foot, he has weird red stuff coming out of his legs, and he has his personal weapon attached to his shoulder. He dosen't really remind me of Onua at all, but that is OK because I would rather have not similar sets to nearly clone sets. He also has too much red on him, which should not be on a Toa of Earth. Light Gray would be better. He is the most likely of the Mistika Toa for me not to buy.

    KRIKA
Krika seems to me to be the least likely of the Mistika Makuta to buy. I've never really been a fan of sets with no regular feet (I tried it with Vamprah and Radiak), because it is too unstable and there is a limitation of posability. Also, they are Av-Matoran arm and leg molds, so that also limits posability. The Mask, the Kanohi Crast however, looks pretty cool, and the green Nynrah Ghost Blaster might make the deputy leader of the swamp Mistika worth buying for me if I warm up to his legs and arms.

    GORAST
Gorast, the only female Makuta, looks like a pretty good buy, seeing as she has four arms, an awesome looking Kanohi Felnas, Nynrah Ghost Blaster, wings, and her new claw design make her look good. However, as with Krika, she uses Av-Matoran arm and leg molds, limiting the posable positions. I will definately buy Gorast though, as her pros outweigh her cons.

    BITIL
Bitil, the only Mistika Makuta to have arm and leg articulation, looks like a good buy, with the two new Vahki-like weapons and the Nynrah Ghost Blaster. The Kanohi Mohtrek is also looking good. However, the leg spikes are weird as armor, and he has an Av-Matoran body (Which may be good or bad, depending on your preferance). I will probably buy Bitil.

    TITANS:

    TAKANUVA
The Toa of Light (and Shadow) is a great looking set, with the gigantic Power Lance, Midak Skyblaster and (a first for a Toa set) hands! He puts his 2003 version to shame with the armor, hands (YAY! Hands in a Toa set), and feet. The new black Avohkii is also very awesome, but it seems a little small compared to the new Takanuva. At the price of 29.99 though, I might not buy it since I want the vehicles.

    VULTRAZ

Yet another Shadow Matoran, this time a former Ta-Matoran, Vultraz rides a Skyfighter, equipped with a Midak Skyblaster that shoots shadow bolts (With Silver Spheres for some reason). Vultraz's mask is neat, and his body is a red clone of Vican's (Without the claws). The Skyfighter looks a little skinny and reminds me of Lesovikk's Sea Sled. At 19.99, Vultraz is overpriced, it should be 14.99. I will probably not buy Vultraz, instead get it as a Christmas or birthday present.

    Mazeka

The Ko-Matoran, Mazeka, appears with a vehicle of some sort, capible of shooting Zamor Shpheres. The Vehicle itself looks very good, but Mazeka is a little too much like Solek for me. Depending on it's price, I might buy it. I'm assuming it will be 29.99., or 24.99 (Hopefully the latter).

    Rockoh T3

Rockoh T3 looks like an okay set. It includes a vehicle, an adapted Pohatu (Whithout weapons and with weirder armor and a strange visor shape). The vehicle apparently is the most powerful story-wise, making up for it being the smallest T-series vehicle. It also has a Zamor Launcher with unknown powers, although I'd like exploding ones. It also has blades at the front (Great for impailing enemies, although Toa wouldn't do that), and has a handle for play. It only has one projectile launcher though, so that is a downer. At 39.99, it looks fairly priced, and I wil probably buy it.

    Jetrax T6

Antroz is back, with a powerful new vehicle at his command, Jetraz T6. It will serve as his new 'eyes'. It has three Midak Skyblasters, and is the second largest. The new Antroz form that comes with it looks the most different out of all of the adapted pilots from their initial form. One of the few downsides for me is they didn't include an adapted Kopaka so that you could reenact the hijacking. The new Antroz mask looks particularly cool. The vehicle remionds me of a podracer from Star Wars Episode I, The Phantom Menace. This is definately the coolest in my opinion, but it's steep price of 59.99 might turn me off from buying it, leaving it as a Birthday/Christmas present.

    Axalara T9

Now onto Axalara... The vehicle looks okay, but the adapted Lewa is terrible. It looks EXACTLY like Phantoka Lewa Nuva, but with grey Toa Metru feet, a weird looking visor and a scruched mask. The Axalara T9 feature two Midak Skyblasters, and some arms that apparently shoot lasers. Axalara T9 Would be okay for 69.99, but the price of 89.99 has removed all possibilities of me buying it. I probably will not get it as a present either, so I will probably never get it.

So in more Madden 13 UT fun today, I managed to win a Legends pack (as well as 8,000 coins), and who else did it contain but the G.O.A.T: Jerry freaking Rice. Considering I'd been looking to buy a Jerry Rice card, this is great - the card also contained a Anquan Boldin, Greg Olsen (one of my favorite Panthers), and 92 Jay Ratliff. Seriously, these packs are awesome.

In addition to those, I bought some other cards off auction - Marshall Faulk (reviving the Greatest Show on Turf, perhaps?), 97 overall Eric Weddle, Josh Scobee, Thomas Morstead, and Mike Tolbert. All of this boosts my team overall up to a 93, quite a ways away from my pitiful 80 overall just a few days ago. My offense is looking to be a juggernaut, but I still need to improve my linebacking corp as well as offensive line. Additionally, my naming contest is still up and running - we've got The Springfield Mascots so far, and I'd be glad to take more.

The club is for fans of BIONICLE. Now, some people think that they are a better fan then another person, and, to a certain extent, that can be considered (partially) correct. However, I believe the idea that some people are 'truer' fans then others is just plain wrong, and I'm quite confident that is hitting the nail on the head with this.

A fan can choose to be 'blind', or they can choose to not be 'blind' (unless they, you know, actually are blind, in which case they really have no choice on the matter). A fan can think BIONICLE is absolutely perfect and worship it, or they can think it is flawed. A fan can hate Hero Factory with every ounce of their existence, or they can absolutely love it. A fan can try and revive BIONICLE, or he choose not to.

A fan can do whatever he wants with his fandom, and it does not make him any more 'true' of a fan. A 'true' fan isn't unilaterally decided by some random person who thinks up a definition off the top of his head, and that label certainly does not give someone the right to demean others because they disagree; 'true' fans are no more or less 'true' than anyone else.

In other words, to sum it up, any fan of BIONICLE is a 'true' fan, regardless of their viewpoint. A 'true' fan can worship BIONICLE and despise Hero Factory, or he can be glad BIONICLE ended.

Does this mean we don't think there are varying 'degrees' of fandom? Of course not; some fans of BIONICLE may be casual fans, others may be hardcore fans who own every set. Is the 'hardcore' fan a bigger fan then the 'casual'? In terms of his activity, yes; however, the 'casual' fan is no less 'true' of a fan then the 'hardcore' one.

Simply put, all fans are equal, none are more 'true' than others.

That is what we, some of the fans of BIONICLE, believe. Doubtless some other fans of BIONICLE will disagree, but they have every right to.

So I just finished playing through it again, probably about the fourth or fifth time I've played through it. Finishes my playthroughs of all three of the games in the series, which is good. I gotta say, I think SP really gets too much hate and is very under-appreciated. It has its flaws, sure, and is probably my least favorite game in the Paper Mario series, but it is by no means bad. It has a very deep plot, no doubt the best in the Paper Mario series, and Count Bleck is one of the best villains in the Mario series and probably my personal favorite Mario villain. The music is great - in particular, the Sammer's Kingdom, Count Bleck, final battle and Super Dimentio battle themes - as are the design and humor. The gameplay, while different, is enjoyable. If you haven't ever played it I highly recommend it.

All that aside, I'm excited for Paper Mario 3DS. Paper Mario is one of my favorite video game series and I'm glad to see it go back to the turn-based RPG style.

So, I've pretty much set in mind I am going to get a 3DS in the next few weeks. I have more than enough money at the moment, but I think I'm only going to buy the console and one game at the moment. Now, the difficult thing is deciding which game to buy. I'm wavering between Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon and Animal Crossing: New Leaf. So, BZP, which would you recommend?

Basically, this is a counterpart to the Full Bronie List. This list is for BZPers that do not consider themselves bronies (or pegasisters); casual MLP fans that do not consider themselves part of the bronie/pegasister community can be added as well if they desire. If you want to be included, either post here or PM me.

This is not a club - this should simply be an informative list of those who do not identify as bronies. As such, all comments should directly pertain to the list, and not be aimed at either side.

Okay, so over the past few days I've managed to radically improve my team. Here is my current lineup, with bolded players being new additions:

    Offense:
QB: Kurt Warner (96 overall), Steve Young (93 overall), Cam Newton (85 overall)
HB: Adrian Peterson (85 overall), DeAngelo Williams (84 overall)
    FB: Stanley Havili (63 overall)
WR: Randy Moss (84 overall), Lance Moore (82 overall)
TE: Vernon Davis (95 overall), Jason Witten (93 overall)
    LT: Joe Staley (87 overall)
    LG: Justin Blalock (85 overall)
    C: Scott Wells (89 overall)
    RG: Brandon Moore (89 overall)
    RT: Bryan Bulaga (89 overall)

    Defense:
    LE: Calais Campbell (93 overall)
    RE: Osi Umenyiora (88 overall)
DT: Tommy Kelly (86 overall), Terrance Knighton (84 overall)
    LOLB: James Anderson (87 overall)
    MLB: Sean Lee (88 overall)
    ROLB: David Hawthorne (88 overall)
CB: Leon Hall (89 overall), Patrick Peterson (84 overall)
    FS: Pat Tillman (79 overall)
    SS: Ronnie Lott (96 overall)

    Special Teams:
    K: Graham Gano (72 overall)
    P: Donnie Jones (78 overall)
KR: Patrick Peterson (99 overall), Brandon Banks (99 overall)
PR: Patrick Peterson (99 overall), Brandon Banks (99 overall)

    Other:
Head Coach: Vince Lombardi (99 overall)
    Jerseys: Carolina Panthers
    Overall rating: 89

As you can see, a lot of new additions. Vernon Davis was priced insanely low at about 1,500 coins, and Kurt Warner was an even more absurd 3,400 coins. I'm a big Kurt Warner fan, so I'm really glad I could get him, and Vernon Davis makes a great TE duo with Jason Witten. You may be wondering why the Adrian Peterson card is rated only an 85 - it is a 'Treat' card, much weaker than any other AP card. Regardless, he and D-Will make a good one-two punch at running back and I'm not too conerned there. My biggest holes are at FB and WR currently - I wanted to get Mike Tolbert at FB, but all fullbacks are priced insanely high. I'm not as concerned about WR, given I run a lot of two-TE sets.

Also, I'm going to hold a little contest here. Right now my team name is "Panthers4Life", obviously a pretty lame name. So basically I invite any and all of you to suggest a name here - I'll take the suggestions and hold a poll here to determine a new team name.

Update: I've managed to acquire both Lawrence Taylor and Dick "Night Train" Lane since this post.

I know I've gotten involved in some testy situations on here, but I really get upset whenever something blows over on here. For a website that I've been on for over half a decade, it really disappoints me that we can be so disruptive to each other. It's always bothered me how people can be so vicious on the internet due to a disagreement on something, but in real life we're more willing to be nice and talk. I have an idea: let's treat our internet relations just like you would treat a relationship with a friend, a co-worker, a classmate, or a roommate. If you wouldn't say it to any of those people in real life, don't say it on here. Conversely, treat interactions like you would with them - if something concerns you, tell them up-front and in a way that won't make them ignore the message.

Remember, we're all BIONICLE fans - can't we come together as a community and try and help understand each other, not tear each other down? If somebody says something that isn't right, there isn't a need to yell at them or say how terrible they are - explain what is wrong about it, and why it offends you personally. Understanding never hurt anyone, and that's all I am going to say.

It's been a bit since my last update, so quite a bit has changed with my team. I'm shuffling between Vince Lombardi, John Madden, Dick Vermeil, and Tom Flores at Head Coach, but that is the least of it:
*I've reluctantly replaced my 99, two-star Kurt Warner with a 99, one-star Russel Wilson. Kurt is one of my favorite players of all-time, but this card fumbles way too much and tends to have weak deep accuracy. I now have three 99 overall QBs, with Kurt being the number-two and a 99, two star John Elway being third-string.
*At WR I've kept Jerry Rice at number-one, but added a 95 overall Steve Smith (one of my favorite players) and a 90 Victor Cruz
*I've beefed up my offensive line. I now have a 93 overall Jordan Gross (another personal favorite) at LT, 99 two-star Gene Upshaw at LG, and a 95 overall Josh Sitton at RG.
*I'm starting a 94 Chris Long at LE; he's no Howie Long but he is a very, very good player in this game. I've also boosted DT with a 92 overall Ndamukong Suh.
*I have a 92 James Harrison starting at LOLB and a 99, one-star Luke Kuechly (yet another favorite) at ROLB. I also have a 99, two-star Ronnie Lott at FS and a 99 overall Eric Weddle at SS.
*I've increased at punter with a 92 overall Sam Koch, and I've put Percy Harvin (99) at backup KR and PR.

So overall, a lot of changes. I still need to solidify my offensive line and get some better linebackers, but aside from that my team has a good shot against any team.

For the record, I support the canonization of a Mask of Healing. For those who are against, I will explain my reasoning here, as well as what I believe the Mask should not be able to do.

First off, here is what the proposed mask would be able to do:

Now, this mask seems like a reasonable idea; it can heal physical ailments only, not insanity or mutations, and as such would be fairly limited it scope. When one further examines it, you can logically decipher several other limitations. For example, it probably would not be able to regenerate limbs or the like, and would most likely not be able to cure a mortal wound. Taking these limitations into account, it would fit quite nicely with the other Kanohi masks IMO, and would not be overpowered.

Now, for those in favor of making it a Legendary mask, I oppose that idea. First off, what is the use of a Mask of Healing if nobody can use it? Second, Legendary masks control fundamental forces of nature (Life, Time, and Creation), not average powers. Healing is not a fundamental force of nature by any stretch of the imagination. Third, each Legendary Kanohi, when destroyed, would have massive repercussions to the Matoran Universe. For example, if the Mask of Time were destroyed, Time in the MU would collapse. If the Mask of Creation were destroyed, all beings in the MU would lose the ability to create new things. What would Healing do; make all wounds fatal? Clearly, making it Legendary would not be reasonable.

So, there are my arguments. Not as long as a Bonesiii one, but I think it works for me.

Kudos to Sony for rejecting always-online and DRM. I already knew I would not be purchasing an Xbone, but I will probably get a PS4 in a year or two. Very similar specs, but PS4 doesn't require online (which means Mincrosoft could end Xbone access in the future), no DRM (right of first sale FTW), and no always on, possibly always-spying Kinect. And, to add to that, it is $100 cheaper.

And if you haven't seen it, look up Sony's "How to share games on the PS4" video. It is amazing.
