Finally got the chance to listen to the new Casting Crowns album, and it is pretty solid. Best since Lifesong, probably. There aren't that many rock songs ("My Own Worst Enemy" is the only really heavy one, with a somewhat grungy feel), but the lyrics are as good as ever and they actually vary the sound quite a bit on some songs.
I wouldn't recommend buying it if you aren't Christian, but its a solid (and challenging) album if you are.
Had this idea randomly while eating at Five Guys and thinking of Wierd Al's 'Ebay' parody song - I don't like Subway, and I hate the Backstreet Boys, but I decided to make this song anyway because I was bored.
Subway
Yeah
I went to Subway
The third time today
Don't know why I say
Must go to Subway
But there are better
Places to eat at
All over my town
Must eat at Subway
Tell me why I didn't go to Five Guys
Tell me why I didn't go to BK
Tell me why I never go to another place
I must eat at Subway
I drove by Subway
Again, the fourth time
Yes I know I've been today
But I must go to Subway
Tell me why I have to buy a footlong
Tell me why I have to buy the large drink
Tell me why I can't go to a different place
Must eat at Subway
Now I can see that my binges on food are making me grossly obese (Whoa)
I must have another, a five dollar footlong, to get down inside of me
Must have, another
To whet desire
So good, so good, so good, so good
I think I'm fat now!
Fat keeps accumulating
Guess binges were a mistake
(Can't leave my couch now)
Guess Subway wasn't healthy
Got fat at Subway
Tell me why I had to buy that footlong
Tell my why I had to go three times a day
Tell my why I always had to go and say
Must eat at Subway
Tell me why I had to buy the footlong
I had to eat their yogurt
Tell me why I couldn't go to another place
Had to eat at Subway
I went to Subway

Oh, and I think I am going to revive an old thing I had on here (making SSBB setlists); today, I think I'll try Tails.
Miles 'Tails' Prower
Speed: Excellent (2nd fastest in game behind Sonic)
Power: Below Average
Jump: Excellent (due to his twin tails)
Swim: Average
Standard Special Move - Homing Attack; similar to Sonic's Homing Attack, but with a longer range and weaker strike power
Side Special Move - Spin Dash; identical to Sonic's Spin Dash
Down Special Move - Tails; Tails spins his tails, which can function as either a shield or an attack (similar to Pit's Angel Ring attack)
Up Special Move - Hover; Tails hovers using his tails, which can be controlled to move in all directions
Final Smash - Super Tails; Tails activates the Super Emeralds, turning him into Super Tails. Has all the abilities of Super Sonic, as well as several Flickies that will attack and cause damage to random fighters.
Alright, so I just played the best and most fun game of NCAA football 2005 (yes, it's that old but I plan on getting a new one when I get an Xbox 360) I have ever had today. In Dynasty mode, I was playing in the New Orleans Bowl with the Appalachian State Mountaineers (Sun Belt conference champs with a 9-3 record) versus the East Carolina Pirates (5th in C-USA with an 8-3 record), with five minute quarters. I got the ball on the kickoff and drove downfield. After a few drives, I managed to pin ECU back at their own four yard line off a great punt. For some reason, their coach decided a pitch was a great idea and I managed to tackle their back in the end zone for a safety (two points). Being the bizarre and/or rare football score nerd I am, I decided this was a great opportunity to make the game have an odd score of some sort, like 2-0 or 5-0. I very, very slowly drove the ball down the field, eating up the clock. Right at the end of the second quarter, I lost a fumble at the end zone, so the score was 2-0 at half.
In the second half, I managed to stop ECU and force a punt on their first drive. I essentially went into keep-away mode from that point on, running out the clock with little to no passes and slowly forcing the ball downfield. By the fourth quarter, I had possessed the ball for the vast majority of the game and was stopping ECU from advancing each time. With about a minute left I managed to get a first down off of a third and ten, but my wide receiver fumbled at the fifty-yard line. ECU choked and threw three straight incomplete passes, but on fourth down they had a clear shot at what would have been a touchdown and made it at least 6-2, which would have ruined my plans. On some sort of miracle they dropped the pass, turning it over on downs and allowing me to hold on to win with a final score of 2-0.
Just as a bit of historical perspective, a 2-0 score is extremely uncommon in real life football - the last such score occurred in 1938, when Green Bay beat Chicago 2-0.
For years, Congress willfully ignored the fact that Mr. Snuffleupagus was growing too big to fail. No more! Join the 99% as we occupy the street of evil known as Sesame Street, to take the cookies out of the hands of the 1% and give them to the 99%!
I have to say, Philippines was one of the best seasons of Survivor I have seen. While I would have rather seen Lisa or Skupin win, I loved that the final four were all likeable and played solid games instead of coathangers who win because they were not as evil as the other finalists (I'm talking to you, Sandra). The game was truly unpredictable and the alliance of Malcolm and Denise lasting so long was unexpected. I also enjoyed this three-tribe lineup as compared to the two-tribe one - alliances were smaller and more important, as opposed to the typical five-player alliance in a two tribe season. About the only negative was the lack of a true strategic villain or anti-hero - sure, Abi was pretty horrible but she really didn't play a strategic game like Russell Hantz or Boston Rob. But overall, I really enjoyed this season and I hope future Survivor seasons can be as good as it was.
If you aren't watching it, the "A Football Life" on NFL Network is showing a great documentary on the Immaculate Reception. It will come back on at 1 AM EST, so set it to record if you can. It is really fantastic and pretty cool.
I think it's pretty undeniable at this point that the ball hit Tatum first. The video proves it, as do the laws of physics. Whether Franco caught it without trapping it on the ground is not provable, and some fouls might have happened on the play. But overall, the refs called it pretty accurately - which is pretty dang impressive.
I saw the first Iron Man movie a couple days ago; it was a pretty good movie, I have to say. Kind of refreshing to see a superhero movie that focuses on intrapersonal conflict, which seems to have been abandoned since the first two Spider Man movies.
Hi, I'm Toa Nidhiki05 and welcome to CLNB, bringing you news YOU can depend on!
Unconfirmed reports indicate large amount of Comic Makers massing near an arena in Bobooba. Officials indicated they have no idea why they are there, but they have hinted it may be some sort of large event.
The future for Naboobia looks good as they just made a Trade Deal with the Comics Land. Specifications of the deal have not been made, although Naboobia's president, AnakinFan, stated that he hopes this will work out. He also hoped for more deals like this in the future.
Recent reports indicate a poodle attacked an inocent Comic Maker. Due to the pending lawsuit on the poodle's owner, the Comic Maker will not reveal his name, but his lawyer claimed the poodle ruthlessly attacked and bit the Comic Maker numerous times. The poodle's owner's lawyer refused to comment on the situation.
So, I watched Christmas Vacation and Elf tonight. If you haven't seen Elf, you really have to - there are just way too many funny bits right from the start. Both movies are holiday favorites of mine and an annual tradition at my house, and they never really get old because the material is just so great. Now all I need to do is watch Home Alone and The Santa Clause.

I've decided to go through and watch the entire first season of Chuck. As good as the show is, Season One is its absolute high point in both creativity and humor.
