    Good News-bad News

    Sorry about the wait, but I have some news for you guys:
     
    Let's start with the bad news:
     
    Super Smash Comics Melee's re-opening will be delayed until 2009. I have alot of school to do, and my mom is limiting me to 30 minutes to 1 hour a day, and I have BZPower and BS01 wiki to worry about. I WILL however, have it open as soon as I can.
     
    Now the good news:
     
    I am working on re-opening my comics movie. I have about 20 slides ready for the next episode. I am going to see if 009 will flashify it, and the episode will include a lightsaber fight (hopefully at least 30-45 seconds), a BIG plot twist, and what is going on in the Comics Land and Naboobia. It is going to be (hopefully) at least 3 minutes, so get ready for the reopening.
     
    Hope you guys are O.K. about this...

    Welcome to the 2nd Edition of the CLNB, news YOU can depend on.
     
    The lawsuit over the alleged poodle attack is set for today. If the allegedly attacked Comic Maker wins, the poodle will be put down. The poodle's owner is saying his poodle never attacked the Comic Maker, but he could not explain the bite and claw marks all over the Comic Maker's body.
     
    Icarax opened his new cooking show today to positive reviews. However, he apparently ate several critics who gave him negative reviews. He refused to comment on this claim.

    Treason's ending will be pushed back to March. I know nobody reads it anymore, but I want to finish it well. There will be probably one or two chapters, counting an epilogue - hopefully the chapter will be quite large, so expect something good.
     
    Also, little progress has been made on the comics. I have a rough idea as to what I want to do, but am still in character development and scripting modes. I can tell you this much - the comics will not be the run-of-the-mill studio comics stuff. Nothing against that, but I am going for something different. If you want more info as to what I am going for, feel free to PM me or reach me elsewhere.

    Continuing with my series of SSB movesets, here is what moves I would give the hero Stars if they were in Super Smash Brothers:
     
    Tahu:
     
    Speed: Average
    Power: Above Average
    Jump: Average
    Swim: Below Average
     
    B - Fire Ball; Creates a ball of fire that travels straight foward, causing medium damage. It can also be charged, but Tahu cannot move while doing such.
    Side B - Sword Slash; Tahu slashes his Fire Sword forward, causing high damage to enemies. Very limited range.
    Down B - Ground Fire; Tahu starts a fire on the ground, which travels along both sides of the platform he is on. The fire loses strength as it travels across the platform, and cannot spread to other platforms.
    Up B - Thermal Updraft - Tahu creates a thermal updraft, lifting him up into the air.
     
    Final Smash - Nova Blast - A massive, expanding blast of fire is around Tahu, burning and massively damaging all enemies. After using this attack, Tahu cannot use elemental powers for a short while (10-15 seconds).
     
    Notes: Tahu can shield longer than other characters, due to his Hau.
     
    Takanuva:
     
    Speed: Average Average
    Power: Above Average
    Jump: Average
    Swim: Below Average
     
    B - Light Beam; Takanuva launches a thin beam of light forward, causing high damage to those hit by it.
    Side B - Lightspeed; Similar to Fox/Falco's side attacks.
    Down B - Light Projection; Creates a solid light projection around Takanuva that protects him from weak-medium strength attacks.
    Up B - Light Hook; Creates a hook of light that grabs onto nearby ledges. Also causes damage to enemies.
     
    Final Smash - Nova Blast (Shoop-da-whoop); Unleashes a Light/Lazer Nova Blast that is projected as a wide, moveable, beam, KOing enemies it hits.
     
    Notes: Takanuva can still use his Light Powers after a Nova Blast, due to his Avohkii.
     
    Gresh:
     
    Speed: Average Average
    Power: Average
    Jump: Above Average
    Swim: Average
     
    B - Air Blast; Creates an Air blast that repels nearby enemies, but causes no damage. Similar to Mario's FLUDD attack, except it is created around Gresh.
    Side B - Blade Throw; Throws Gresh's blades, causing medium damage.
    Down B - Shield; Uses Gresh's blades a a shield, which reflects projectile attacks.
    Up B - Air Current; Creates a strong wind that blows Gresh upward, as well as slightly forward.
     
    Final Smash - Air Assault; Blasts an enemy near Gresh off the stage.

    Teridax

    Here is what Teridax should be like in a SSB game even though it will never happen:
     
    B: Shadow Ball: Similar to Aura Sphere, does moderate damage
    Side B: Shadow Hand: lifts opponent into air and squeezes hard, does heavy damage but short range
    Down B: Hunger: Replenishes Makuta health, damages enemy, must be in contact with enemy to work
    Up B: Teleport, does no damage, direction of teleport can be controlled
     
    Final Smash:
    Teridax's Fury
     
    Simultaniously blasts opponents with Shadow, Gravity, Sonics, and Chain Lightning, heavily damaging enemies.

    Here are a picture of my dog, Alyssa:

     
    She is a mix of a Shiba Inu (a Japenese breed) and a Corgi. We adopted her when she was at PetSmart. A Burke County animal place was bringing dogs to be adopted to my Hickory PetSmart, and we got her. She is about a year old or something like that. She is a terrible chewer, and chews up every toy we get her, even 'virtually indestructible' toys. SHe is really nice and licks you and jumps all over you. And pees. Sometimes.

    The Refuge

    This will serve as the base for the resitance against the evil pony legions and refuge for the surviving staffies and BZPower members. If we can ward them off, then maybe we have hope to save BZPower. Hurry we must stop them, or our fate is sealed:

    Here is what I would have picked for the BIONICLE Stars:
     
    HEROES:
    Red: Tahu - No brainer; he deserves this.
    Blue: Helryx - Never had a set before, which would tone down on complaining.
    White: Takanuva - Same as Tahu, but I'd give him cooler weapons.
     
    VILLAINS:
    Green: Nidhiki - Yes, I want to retcon the death of a character. I'd explain how Makuta have the ability to 'recreate' beings they have absorbed, and these would be completely loyal to the Makuta. He'd be in Toa form, BTW, so no four-legged set.
    Yellow/Orange/Brown: Rahkshi of Sonics (They are listed as Yellow-Green on the Rahkshi sheet, I believe) - I like this better than Heat Vision, and Sonics is more powerful as well.
    Black/Grey: Exo-Toa - Fits in, as Teridax has Exo-Toa in his army. Only black set I could think of that could go here.

    ...Unfortunately, I'll never get it; the goal requires 5 stars on all bass songs, and I have 10 left - one of which is the ridiculously hard 'Jerry Was a Race Car Driver' one. >_<

    Brawl 'tiers'

    Just a word of advice - ignore the 'tiers' of the characters in Brawl unless you intend on playing a 3-life match with no items. The tiers are for tournament play, really, and don't take into account stage or Final Smash. I use characters they say are 'low tier' and owned with them.

    Dang It!

    ...I am mad.
     
    My Wii is having problems, and I need to replace it, but I cannot copy my Brawl data, Super Mario Bros., and Super Mario Bros 3 to an SD card! Very, VERY dumb move by Nintendo to not let me copy that!
