I have a slight question about BZPower.

...Why exactly do we allow discussion of Mass Effect in CoT but censor out the word cool dude?

Thursday: We leave the hotel at around 10:00, head to the lakeside beach for lunch, and drive to Montreal. I try pure lobster (A.K.A. not just in a pasta/fried at Long John Silver's,) for the first time and like it. Not really too eventful a day.

Friday: We explore Montreal. After looking through the science museum there and the Montreal Cathedral de Notre Dame (as "Notre Dame" means "Our Lady," you can guess there are PLENTY of cathedrals with the patronage of "Notre Dame,") we head back to the hotel. I do some posting, before I come the the most epic point in the whole vacation.

At the restaurant we tried dinner at, I fulfilled my ultimate childhood dream.

    I TRIED SNAIL

    AND IT WAS AWESOME

Saturday: We leave Montreal, heading back over the border, into America, and into the embassy Suites in Buffalo we stayed at previously. A casual pizza parlor for dinner rounds off the vacation.

Sunday: After our rental car (since we weren't sure our old minivan would get us to Canada and back) spontaneously gets transmission issues and stays on even when the key is out, we switch it for a new rental car. After listening to a comedy radio station for a long time, we finally see familiar surroundings...and then, at long last, home. After getting our dogs back from puppysitting, I FINALLY GET THE NORMAL COMPUTER AGAIN.

So as my premier perks wane, there it is. A summary of my vacation to Canada. I'll be back to the various RPGs I participate in, so...yeah. Life's back to normal.

Name change coming tomorrow to celebrate the release of Starcraft 2. WOOT.

Saturday: Headed to Buffalo, New York. Niagara falls is EPIC, and if you're en route through Buffalo yourself, take the detour if you can. It's worth it. (I did the Cave of the Winds tour [up close to part of the waterfall on a bridge,] and the Maid of the Mist tour [boat ride around the falls area.]) For dinner, we went to a REALLY good Asian restaurant called Papaya's. They had great and unique food (banana spring rolls with ice cream are a surprisingly good dessert, simmering duck was very tasty, etc.,) and I honestly say the experience kicked off my vacation well.

Sunday: Continued into Canada. Ran into a little gas station debacle; namely, in Canada a lot of the role gas stations play in America are replaced with highwayside "service stations." Apparently in the province we were moving through, they'd all been closed for renovations. After a short detour where we frantically scrambled for a private gas station to go to, we found one, filled from there in spite of the costs, and got EPIC cherry turnovers from the store near it. We arrive at our location, Mount Tremblanc, later in the day. We unpack, and much to my chagrin I doscovered that the internet-enabled television had its internet turned off. [darthvadervoice]NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO![/darthvadervoice]

Monday: We look around the resort, get lunch from a restaurant with some New Orleans-style cooking (I got an item called "Voodoo Stew:" Basically gumbo+all the spices they could find in the kitchen. My kind of meal to an M. ,) and take a swim in the pool area. I had a very strange idea for a "Pool Fighter" game: Basically a 3D version of Street Fighter...except in a pool. With splashes as attacks. Yeah. Very strange, but then again, I can get rather strange as well...

Tuesday: I do the luge (think a momentum-propelled go-cart,) go up on a gondola lift to the top of the mountain, and see a live falconry show. Namely, we got to see lots of birds of prey, including a kestrel (the smallest bird of prey in north america,) the horned owl (which has no horns and no ears, just tufts that look like them,) the black vulture (really more majestic-looking than they sound,) and the bald eagle (woot!)

A panoramic view of the resort gave me a few ideas for the topography of the island my RPG Contest 19 entry will take place in...you'll have to see that when the time comes, though...

Wednesday: Rain occurred earlier today. As in "HEAVY rain." We managed to hike through it to see a hiking path with a lot of streams and waterfalls. Really cool. We got lunch, this time from a pastry place (we split three quiches among four people and some desserts,) and then shortly after that we headed back. It's dried up as of 4:15 PM here...and I FINALLY have managed to negotiate a method of borrowing mom's laptop to post from here in Canada.

The second half will come when the vacation's finished. (Yay for Premier Membership priveleges coinciding with my vacation!)

(Tune: Santa Claus is coming to town)

    Oh you better watch out
    You'd better not hack
Or your Wi-fi on Platinum will surely be blacked!
Da-arkrai is coming to North America!

    Oh you'd better stay up,
    (Watch out for Dark Voids!)
The Pitch Black Pokemon is zoinks and zoids!
Da-arkrai is coming to North America!

    Oh you'd better stock up
    On those Lunar Wings,
Or it'll bring you dreams that sting,
    (Pa-ardon my horrid- rhyming)

He attacks when you are sleeping,
With its Nightmares and Bad Dreams,
But when it's awake it's totally time,
    For AWESOME capturings!

(seriously: the event to get the Member Card [the in-game preresquite for Darkrai] in Pokemon Platinum started Aug. 3 (It ends on Sept. 13th.)

The above obviously refers to Pokemon Platinum version.

BTW, anyone have the Regi Trio? They were abandoned when my Pokemon Diamond got lost, where I'd traded them from Pokemon Platinum. I still have the TRU Regigigas, but no Regis [note: I also traded my Level 1 Regigigas to get Manaphy. Yay! ])

    Finally got to post that.

So...anyways...a lot of HeartGold/SoulSilver info we've been getting, huh?

So for the next week...I will be posting a few blog entries.

And maybe trying to get back into Abyssal Plain...and maybe lobbying for B6 to delay RPG Contest 15 until October...

Well, my PMship is going to expire in a few days. Pity it would happen when my first Bionicle Mafia game I'm hosting is right around the corner....

As such, I need a Premier Member who is willing to play in Bionicle Mafia 18 to host the game.

First reliable Premier Member whose PMship won't expire for a couple months come and post their desire here, first serve.

I'm also giving 6 reservations ahead of time to ANYBODY, Premier or not. But you have to post it!

So anyways, goodbye. And just for old time's sake, I'll do all the signoffs I've used.

I scored in the top 4 percentile in the entire United States. That means about 96 percent of people scored lower than me.

And I got accepted into one of the best high schools in the US. St. Xavier High School, located in southwest Ohio, actually.

The above resulted in a very tasty celebration dinner. With tasty Christmas roast beef (leftover, but still very tasty,) risotto, corn, rolls, and green beans. Then again, I am a teenager, so don't worry about me getting too full.

I have unlocked several more Gaia Gate side-paths in Sonic: Unleashed! for Wii. Man are those puzzles cool...

And for submitting a news article (the one posted today) I got a proto boost.

All in all, today was a very good day.

With the closing of the finale of the second Pikmin RPG, it comes time to design...

    3!

Yes, Pikmin RPG 3 is coming.

Players from the first and 2nd RPGs can come here to check the TBRPG's progress.

I think we have an idea basically laid out. (I made it, and we've all been having discussions by PM. I'm posting it so we can have a 4-way dialogue about it.) So far, all of the moderators (and Exo-Fat himself) seem to approve of it, so that's why I'm posting this idea here.

    And here it is!

Well, yeah. Anyways, let's dialogue about this! (So we can hopefully get a cohesive RPG going by the time this entry is done.)

Oh, and as soon as some people reply to my PMs, we can say the various sub-ideas we've been coming up with. They will be up soon.

I have seen the various trailers, and it looks AWESOME.

From classic 2-d to modern 3-d gameplay shifts that are pretty much seamless to hack-and-slash gameplay killing shadow creatures, this game (which was originally intended to be the Sonic Adventure 3, as far as I'm concerned, but the gameplay distanced itself enough that it needed a new title,) should roxorz your soxorz for Christmas.

The game's premise, as far as I am concerned, is that Sonic busts into Eggman's spaceship with the Chaos Emeralds, beats up tons of robots, goes Super, and then...gets trapped somehow in a containment device by Eggman. Eggman then corrupts the Emeralds, uses them to split the Earth apart, and now Sonic has to go to the various continents to purify the Emeralds, then go back and rematch Eggman, and this time, beat him and svae the world. Downside/upside is: When the sun goes down, as a side effect of the containment device, Sonic changes into a powerful (albeit less speedy) form as a Werehog.

As such, this leads to a huge amount of interesting things, from a stage based on Egypt and the ancient city of Petra (during the day you go through a city of stone, at night Werehog Sonic goes into ancient ruins and sees some sweet monsters of shadow to owned, and what looks like a mage creature for a boss,) to a stage based on China (During the day, Sonic rips into dragon heads and loops through dragons and races over the Great Wall, taking out the Egg Launcher in the process at night Werehog goes through like a samurai and slashes at more dark creatures, one looking like a large, dark samurai beetle known only as...it hasn't been revealed yet [which you have to see to comprehend its awesomness]) to a stage based on the Big Apple itself (Sonic leaps and grinds over and through skyscrapers in that one, and Werehog uses his stretchy arms to grab edges.) For those who don't know, the Big Apple is a nickname for New York City.

In other words, it was REALLY cool.

Darkaea: YES! It IS awesome! Eggman actually gets a temporary victory over Sonic! Too bad it can't last...

    Uh, yes, thank you Darkaea.

    Neya Dakraea Out.

Whoever missed the Olympic opening ceremonies last night I take great pity on.

    They were AWESOME.

The sheer coordination of the people performing the ceremony's movements was excellent, and the people using their bodies and a special suit to make a mountain-and-water painting (an ancient Chinese artform) was spectacular, the children passing the flag to the soldiers (apparently to suggest that the state will soon help protect the children's futures,) the history stuff about China's past was performed with so much grace and elegance, the digital work was performed flawlessly, and the modern stuff, telling the desire of the chinese at the Olympics to change, represented so well by a phoenix made of people in glowing suits, the giant globe act for the first Chinese in space (even though you could see the suspension wires from the TV screen, the people moving around the globe had to have trained so hard for that, it was amazing,) the Tai-chi masters moving in circle patterns, and the young 9-year old who survived the Szechuan earthquake and rescued 2 of his classmates later moving along side the flagbearer for China all took the cake.

But the best part? THE TORCH.

The torch was carried among many athletes well-known in China, all the way up to the final torchbearer who was standing on a raised podium, but then guess what? The final torchbearer was lifted up on small wires to the top of the stadium, and "ran" along the outside membrane, pictures of the Olympic torch relay streaming behind him. Then, he actually reached the cauldron, on the top of the stage, which was not there 30 minutes ago, he lit the oil trail leading to the cauldron, and it was so amazing.

Bush's posture was the only thing wrong with it. (He looked SO unpresidential.) But everything else strongly countered it. Yes, the bar has REALLY been raised for 2012 this time.

    Yes, it really was awesome.

Neya Darkaea Out. And like I said, I pity those who could not watch from their televisions. I also envy, however, those who got to go to the Olympics at Beijing directly.

Well, it's the 4th of July, and here in Ohio, all is wet.

I and my parents all helped out pushing the boom box carriage.

And even though there were enough loud sirens to drive a Bionicle LOHRAK crazy, (hence the name of today's entry,) I still managed to get through the parade to blog to you about it.

Still, I got to read Lego Magazine right after we got back to my grandparents' house, lol, saw the Mistika, which look AWESOME.

And I'll also get to upload several new MOCs to Brickshelf for you to view as a reward. How cool is that?

    Hold the flag high, and:

Hello. I am Makuta Darkaea, who is currently lecturing to you from the Destral Archives, whose location is top secret. You may be wondering about why I am here, talking to you. Anyways, about 95 millenia ago, I, working under Makuta Cryzak as a Destral archiver's assistant, participated in the Xian negotiations. They were NOT fun, I will tell you. An example is shown here, when talking to a female Vortixx bureaucrat:

"But sirs, if I do lower prices, my workers would get ticked off, eventually causing an equal rights campaign for Male Vortixx and destabilizing our entire economy, causing a world-wide depression due to our intensely capitalistic position in the world, followed by a world war started by the Steltians, eventually ending in a Cold War between us and the Matoran, with intense propaganda emanating from both sides, and:"

    "I don't care," said Vamprah.

"But isn't it your duty to protect the Matoran, who will surely be slaughtered in the world war?"

"You said that as if the Matoran will still be around for said Cold War," pointed out myself.

"But if I do, we'll have to resort to un-environmentally friendly methods to make our weapons, resuling it the world warming up until it is too hot for Matoran life to thrive, eventually causing the world to be consumed in..."

Yes. I was very glad that Icarax finally lost his temper then. Key emphasis on "was." Let's just say that I ended up with so many bruises/cuts/scrapes/scars/fractures/sprains/broken bones/etc. that I looked like a Makutafish who picked a fight with a mutated Tarakava...and lost. That was when it was only half over.

I have also to report that Stelt, to this day, has not raged a world war.

I'm now a senior archivist at the Destral history area. I'd know.

Today, for the first time, I have slept in past noon. This officially means I am a teenager, in ways other than age (I was 13 since August last year.)

And if Mom lets me get on my computer account with the MLN awards on it, I will get them.

Well, this time around, I'm just going to make the blog entry the "official topic." So anyways- Wha- Hey! You aren't supposed to be here ye-

???: I am back. My name is Makuta Darkaea, if you really have to know. I am an assistant to the Makuta of BZKoro, who is right under your petty member noses attempting to take over BZKoro, with me and the other under Makuta secretly ally with Survurlode to corrupt and sabotage your very bases on BZKoro.

Anyway, that buffoon Toa Neya who managed to absorb me into a strange mirror to take over my body (and, because he made the soul container too weak, utterly failed and made us into a bit more of a Jekyll-and-Hyde combo) wanted to make another BBC entry, and didn't have the time, he simply stole my totally unique amphibious war serpent and put it as his entry. Nevertheless, just in case you would like to surrender ahead of time, here are the pictures I've managed to claim back. He has several more, I hear, but because of camera troubles he was unable to upload them.
