I dont like introductions much, so I'm just not going to do one. If you care enough this week to keep reading, you should get a grasp of who I am.
Anyhow, on July 29th, my immediate family and I went on a short trip to my old home town for family pictures. After rescheduling several times up to the last minute, a date was finally set. However, the photos werent to be taken by a professional—they were to be taken by my uncle. Great, I thought.
As it turns out, it was nearly bad as I thought. Sure, the process was a bit boring, but since when arent photo shoots? Here's where the juice came in; after commenting about how 'cool' his dSLR was, my mother asked my uncle how much one like his cost. After receiving an answer that was within our price range, I was offered one. I was, and still am, elated.
So, to my dilemma. I've been searching frantically for the last few weeks for a good lens that was within my budget. Those are hard to come by, but I eventually made my choice: I've settled on a Nikon Nikkor 55-200mm VR telephoto lens. I've seen nothing but positive reviews, and it's on the outer edge of what I'm willing to pay. Go research!
