    Lego City Undercover

    LCU is a blast. I've been enjoying the story, humor, gameplay, everything. It's some of the most fun I've had on Wii U, and any game console for that matter. Highly recommended. =)

    Greg And Canon

    Hello everyone.
     
    If you haven't tried it yet, you should watch MoL while listening to this. It was a lot of fun to record. =)
     
    The topic of Greg F. has come up with me a few times, and I have to say, I highly doubt he will be returning. That might seem like common sense now, but I often get asked about his status because of my "ties" with him. I wouldn't say that I have ties with Greg, especially not anymore. I know it's not good news, but I don't want people holding out hope anymore. If Greg comes back, it should be surprising to everyone at this point.
     
    As for my opinion of how the fandom should function on our own, it's a tough subject. We'll never get everyone to agree on some kind of canonization system, and I think that would hurt the community. I do think that we should look to Bonesiii for the other contest that he got approved by Greg, because that's really the last approved piece of canon material that we have. I also think we should treat the ATYU2 stories as canon, and feature them as they deserve to be featured. There's concern that it isn't as secure as the old methods, but I think we do need to adapt at least in this regard. Because the themes were approved and the stories went through strict judging, I think it's time to let them in.
    Because my story was among the winners, I do hate to put my opinion out like this. However, I believe if I was just a judge and not an entrant I would feel the same way. =)

    I'll get around to reposting it in the forums here sometime.
     
    My buddy Grant-Sud's story is also a winner, and I really enjoyed that one.
     
    I don't remember which other stories I judged, but I hope to see these given a lot of attention and discussion.
    This is some of the only storyline we get, so enjoy the new entries in the BIONICLE canon and congratulate the winners. =)

    Here are a few "sightings" of BIONICLE that I forgot to mention:

    You can totally get your fat head on a Tahu Nuva. I wanted this so bad, but it was like stinking $25 of course.
     

    You know when you go to your car to eat lunch because you just spent over $60 on admission and you are too cheap to buy they're rip-off nasty food? This is what you get on your hand.
     
    That's not my hand btw.
     

    And this is supposedly a BIONICLE ride. It was almost fun. =)

    Loose Ends List #1

    I finally got around to compiling the first version of the Loose Ends in BIONICLE list. The topic got a lot of activity during a trip of mine, so I got behind. But it's up now. =)
     
    I don't know how LEGO's new social media interaction rule will effect the BSS, and maybe they don't either yet. Because of that, I don't know what will be done with the list at this point, but at least we have it for reference.
     
    Speaking of the new rule, I'm going to miss PMing Greg. It's why I joined BZP four years ago. Maybe the staff will come up with a good replacement as a solution, but it still probably won't be the same.

    Bucket Head

    I should have posted this piece of BS01 member artwork earlier, but I was reminded today!
     
    1) Bucket Head, if you recall, was the nickname of the Skrall in Greg Farshtey's BIONICLE 5 treatment.
    2) I was given the following award from Swert:
    The Skrall Naming Award
    Tuma has decided to award this Skrall a name. It should be happy.
    This Skrall's new name is now Bucket Head.
    (Basically this award means this person has proven that they have worked above and beyond the duties of an average BS01 member. This is determined by no written standard. Because of this, they are now a "named" Skrall. They will only be nicknames.)

    I'm Baaaaack

    My clip was used in the latest Powercast, hooray. =)
     
    Kayru gave me a custom Matoro Inika model for Christmas. I'll arrange a photo-shoot and give you guys some pictures soon.
     
    I might have some kind of special episode coming out on the BS01 Podcast to celebrate our anniversary some more, but I'm pretty busy right now. As usual when I get back from a trip, things pile up that I have to attend to.
     
    I was going to see Tangled today, but the movie theater shut down. I don't know what that was about, because it's never happened before. Has anyone seen it, and what did you think?

    Too much computer/video game time for Kraah? Perhaps...
     
    I have discovered two evidences thus far.
     
    Evidence #1) When I think about things like throwing something away, or getting rid of anything, the word my mind uses is delete. No joke.
     
    Evidence #2) While driving, there is one road that I take once or twice a week. The road is so small that I often think to myself; "Is this road really supposed to be 2 Player?" I mean to ask myself if they really expect two lanes to function at once...
     
    o_O I worry myself.

    Black Friday

    I debated about getting up this morning for some Black Friday shopping insanity. In the end, though, there was nothing that I really wanted...
    Plus, people always have the habit of ramming their carts into my ankles, and I really don't know what's up with that.
    I just stayed home.
     
    I was happy to find some Xbox Live sales though.
    I picked up;
    Portal: Still Alive ($5)
    Splosion Man ($2)
    Mega Man 10 ($5)
     
    And I saved... like $13 or something. Woot for Black Friday.

    Kraayru's Art Exhibit 1

    Kayru was over at my house this weekend. We had a lot of fun hanging out, but she left an unfinished drawing at my house.
     
    I asked her if she wanted it back, but she let me have it. I know for a fact that it would have turned out better if she finished it, =P but here is the product of our combined work...
     

     
    It's only the result of about an hour's total work, so I understand if it could be better. =)
     
    I also tinkered with it on the computer, and I will be using the pictures for my new sig and avatar.

    If you're wondering, Kayru did the sketch outline, some head/face features and some of the spots. I did the hard outline, mouth, finished spots, fur, and a few minor things. I might have spent more time on it, but I shudder to think what it would look like if I had started it. xD Kayru did the hard stuff, and she's a really great artist.
