    Power Rangers RPM, the final season, at least, the final live action season (it could go animated. If it did, I think suicide rates would increase).
     
    This is an amazing attempt at a final season, post apocalyptic warfare against a new Machine Empire (since we all think it's Forever Red's General Venjix and since the Grinders move and look like Cogs). Yes, this is truly an epic season, and a truly amazing last stand.
     
    Yes RPM, your best, for the 17 year long series is its best. I applaud you.

    08 Summer Sets

    My opinions.
     
    Tahu: The best images, he's good as far as I can tell, the spinning blade like weapon, not as good as his normal sword by my standards.
     
    Onua and Gali: Too hard to see to say much, so I'll leave it for now.
     
    The Makuta: All good, the insect look makes them incredible, Krika is great, the green one (Gorast?) is great with the four arms, the yellow one not as great, but still good.
     
    Titans:
     
    Taka: I hated the leaked images, but now he's decent. The white and black don't look great together though, some gold would be nice.
     
    Vultraz: Either a Makuta, Shadow Toa, or Matoran (most likely shadow), his Midak shoots shadow energy as stated by Toywiz and Toyfair and he's an enemy to the Nuva. The name Vultraz would probably fit a Le villager better, so I'm thinking Shadow.
     
    The "T" sets: Horrible. Just re-releasing the older sets from winter along with large overpriced vehicles. Release the vehicles for maybe 30-40 dollars, cut out the 10 for the rider and maybe they'd be worth it. Maybe, I doubt it.
     
    So, Makuta: Great
    Nuva: Hard to tell
    Taka: Decent
    Vultraz: Great
    "T" Sets: Horrible
     
     
    Many people have been saying that these are some of the worst sets, complaining about the canister sets. The Nuva don't look that great, but we have few images so far. I don't know why no one complains about the vehicles. Just the Nuva minus Kopaka and Antroz rereleased a few months later, few changes made to them and large overpriced and bulky vehicles.
     
    I still have hope for Mazeka being an awesome set without a vehicle, if he/she/it has a vehicle and is overpriced (I think the set is $50 I heard, or $40, or something, I'm probably wrong.) not worth it. If it's a stand alone for that much, not worth it. If it's like Karzahni but built better (the fingers of Karzahni keep falling off, Karzhani's limbs aren't that great, etc.) I'd get it.
     
    So my 08 Summer "rant" I guess is over, I'll do it again when more and better images, story, etc. is released.

    2000th Posts!

    I have reached 2000th posts today. In about ten to fifteen days I'll have been here for one year, so in under one year I've made 2000th posts, I'm pleased with these results.

    An epics entry. This essentially effects anyone who reads my epics currently.
     
    By the end of 2008 I plan on posting the following, concluding every one of these epics:
     
    1. Lightstone (only 12 chapters remain, 10 to be written)
     
    2. War of Fate (this one is difficult, I originally planned anywhere from 25-40 chapters for the War, but now, instead of showing every conflict, sometimes focusing on DH members leading fights, focusing on all sides, I predict now only 20 chapters, that idea is about halfway scrapped)
     
    3. Kingdoms of Nightmare (a relatively new epic, I don't have plans to wrap it up quickly. This one will end in 09 while the others should end earlier, by 08's end. This one is the exception due to when I started posting, that I had to wait for the MU map to do too much. And there's also a spinoff epic to go with it)
     
    4. Legends of BIONICLE Part 8: Legacies of the Final Battle (most was written a long time ago, I only have a few chapters left to write, mainly I'm waiting on the other members of the group to finish their years, so this may not come in 08)
     
     
    And by the start of 09, when those epics are finished (with Kingdom's as the exception, LotFB should be finished by this point, awaiting posting), these are what I will spend my time writing for 09:
     
    1. Games (working title, see here) (to begin work after Lightstone, War of Fate and Legacies. It will span around 25 chapters I guess, that's my foresight, probable to change)
     
    2. A "Human BIONICLE" Epic (name unknown, chapter number unknown, to start on Mata-Nui from the beginning with new conflicts, new ideas, etc. If any artists read this and would like to make characters, let me know, and not: not inspired by Tohkann's work (sorry if I mispelled the name))

    2: apparently I haven't said this well enough anywhere else, but:
     

     
    Ok, do I wait and hope for her to return, I never had a relationship with her other than friendship, or do I move on? Though I do think to move on soon since I believe my duty to be to the present instead of praying about the past and future; her return and other things I can't state. Any good advice; move on or keep praying, etc.?

    A Few Updates

    Ok.
     
    1. Finals are over, this was my last day of school.
     
    2. Over the next week (maybe two) I'll be on less often, having to use the Library while our laptop is fixed.
     
    3. Expect a new CoT epic soon that I'm writing with another member on another site, we're writing a Power Rangers epic, staying truer to the original, more violent, more story, etc.
     
    I think that's it.

    That pretty much sums up Rescue Force, I just love that quote. The video that goes with it is great too, just go to said video site and type in Tomica Hero Rescue Force Promo, fifth video down, or watch the first episode, but this is the easier way, just watching the promo. It's just great, it shows how it sets itself differently from Super Sentai, fighting the footsoldiers he says that in episode 1, just great.

    A Lot Of Mocs!

    Go to BBC and I have many new MOCs up which include: Tahu, Onua, Gali Phantoka, Twilight Taka, two Order agents for an upcoming epic, one of which appears in Lightstone chapter 7, and a creature I made from all six Barraki about a year ago.
    I did make a Kopaka Phantoka stealth bomber like ship, didn't turn out well though, so I don't have pictures yet, but I will eventually, and I made a Tuyet out of Gadunka, Takadox and a few Hahli Mahri parts, but I didn't post Tuyet since it isn't that great, but go take a look.

    After reading the OoMN page on BS01 and wanting to finish Destiny War and Dwellers in the Darkness (or whatever the Hagah serial is called) and learn more of the war, (don't really care at this point about Brothers in Arms, just want to know of the war), I've decided to use the information, like the Tahtorak plan to wipe out the Skakdi on Zakaz, I'm going to make an epic based on the war soon to incorporate all this knowledge we have and make it good.

    A New S.s. Is Coming

    A new short story is coming soon. I'm about a fourth of the way done right now, I haven't done much work yet, but it's titled Soul of Darkness, Vultraz's story, in first person, from taking the lava gem up until Karda-Nui, showing his rebirth from Gorast, claiming his weapons to attack the De-Matoran village, etc. It'll be up by next Saturday I'd assume.

    A Question

    1. Do you prefer simply "Chapter 1"
    2. "Chapter 1: Rise of the Toa"
    3. "Chapter 1: The Toa---A New Enemy Rises!"
    4. "Round 1: A Battle in Vulcanus---Defeat the Mighty Skrall!"
     
    So simply, what would you prefer for a chapter name? Something simple, like the first two, or something more like you may see in, as someone has told me in the past, Naruto (I actually got the idea from Gundam SEED), such as the 3rd or 4th option? The 4th is really just another idea (one I'm using in my Bara Magna epic), changing "Chapter" to something more befitting of the epic or what its about.
     
    So, out of curiosity, what do you prefer?

    To all of my fans of the epic "Lightstone", I pose this question.
    Should I make a second epic? Sure, the characters are appearing in the Kingdoms of Nightmare Trilogy, but, should I make another Lightstone epic that coincides with KoN?
    For those of you who don't know what Lightstone is, it's an epic involving Matoro after his death. He was revived by unknown means-well, he's not truly living. He's just...there. He can't die. He can be destroyed, but technically he can't "die". Matoro is thrust into leadership of an elite team by the Order of Mata Nui as they enter the Destiny War.
    The Lightstone unit (a name that Matoro decided on) is led by Matoro, with disowned Order members named Introk and Torshia, and two Toa, a Toa of Water named Rhylm and Earth named Orwik.
     
    For more information on the first ten or so chapters, go here. It's likely not going to be updated since I rarely go to BS01 anymore.
     
    The team's goal is to protect the Matoran from any threats, native or alien. This has taken them all across the Matoran Universe, battling many forces. From mutated Rahi to dangerous beasts from the Void-a dimension opposite the Matoran Universe in essence, a real of darkness in a way. They fight and win on behalf of the Matoran Universe.
     
    They have been joined by others, including the Memory Changer from the Void, named Shkorl, and Hahli Mahri, with the rest of the Toa Mahri during the final two chapters of Part 2 (chapters 11-20). Also, with the beastly Klofn, the manipulating Wesker and others, including two of their ultimate enemies, the Phantorians.
     
    Lightstone is "Outside the Order, above the Toa. Arming the Matoran race against the future. Now is when everything changes, and Lightstone is ready."
     
    Members have had terrible lives in the past, mainly slaughter of someone or some people near to them.
     
    All five members have died at least once. Matoro, of course has died. The other four members died against their first major enemy's life stealing ability, but were revived later on, upon its death, rending Matoro into a coma.
    The only other death in the team had been Orwik. He was killed by a scientist, but revived for a brief minute to give the team a goodbye. He didn't die again, he stayed in a living death state.
     
    Lightstone has worked alongside the Resistance in a post apocalyptic future ruled by the Toa Nuva in the Kingdoms of Nightmare Trilogy's first epic.
     
    Now, I need to know what to do with them. Should they just continue on as more minor characters, or, should they be in the spotlight once more, in their own new epic?

    A Shocking End

    I just got The Final Battle about, maybe two hours ago, did some work, then got a chance to finish it a few minutes ago.
     
    Incredible book. All I have to say.
     
    The end. I was shocked by the ending of the book. It makes me want to get the 09 books and beyond, (I'll likely read what happens on BS01 or something though, I'm not buying sets or anything beyond 08) to figure this out. You just have to know the end and you'll be shocked by it. It is a shocking ending that actually can't make me just stop paying complete attention to the story.

    Somehow I'm out of the many parts I use in MOCing already after only building these for my epic, Kingdoms of Nightmare:
     
    Toa Mazeka
    Toa Vultraz
    Toa Defilak
    Toa Garan
    Toa Balta
    Toa Dezalk
     
    (Balta and Dezalk aren't great, I shouldn't have made two Toa of Fire, Dezalk I had to use too much black on (I picture him as red and black armored))
     
    And I still have to build these:
     
    Toa Velika (I don't have much brown for MOCing, I have to get other sets out to do so)
    Toa Kazi (used to much white on Mazeka, I don't have much for him)

    *Shkorl refers to a being, not a Rahi
    *The chapter will be set in present day, not an alternate universe or anything, you may think something like that from the beggining of the chapter
    *It will have some information on Matoro's revival

    *After the events of the Powerless chapters Matoro's way of actions will be far different than previously
    *A new storyline for Part 2 (see below)

    2. Oban Star Racers: Alwas Cycle comes out on DVD which I pre-ordered, so a few days after, hopefully Thursday, I'll have them, the anticipation is really growing for me to get Oban, I just can't wait for this incredible series.
     
    Oh, two quick Lightstone updates:
     
    1. Matoro Lightstone MOC is up.
    2. I will post today and Sunday, I won't be home enough on Friday to post a chapter and Saturday I won't be home, so sorry about that.

    Art Of The Blade

    I want to take up swordsmanship to increase my skill, but I have no idea of what type of sword to use, I like this sword, using the twin swords.
    I also like this normal katana, hm, any suggestions on what type would be better?
