It's a big day over here, Ireland has legalised marriage equality by popular vote. There's still plenty to be done for LGBT equality here (particularly for transgender people) but it's a huge step in the right direction and I'm really happy. Here's to many more steps forward.

Okay, maybe this is old news, but I was looking through Boston Dynamics' videos on YouTube, and I came across this thing:

It's a freaking humanoid robot with a (kind of) spherical upper torso with a blue eye thing in it. It's even called Atlas. I am now convinced these people are turning into Aperture Science.

This is what I get for drawing while feeling lightheaded. His mask is so bad it's not even funny and some of the perspectives are really off.

    Inspired by McToran Tamaru.

So in order to travel to the US me and my Dad both need a Visa. Mine is still valid from last year, but Dad had to renew his for this year. You have to fill out this online form thing in order to validate it and I had forgotten how good some of the questions were. You have to confirm that you're not a Nazi or a terrorist.

Today was unfortunately another day of feeling pretty awful, but on the bright side, I was in a music store today, and found this:

okay so photography's about the only thing I'm able to do these days, I really want to draw and do other stuff as well but my concentration is just terrible from anxiety levels being permanently high so this is about the only thing I can do properly so here have some pictures

also yes I'm talking without proper punctuation again, full punctuation makes me sound like I'm in some sort of coherent state of mind, which just feels dishonest at this stage

So I got out of bed this morning (and by "this morning" I mean "midday" because I was up late okay) opened my window for a bit of fresh air, and was greeted by a cat mewing at me from the path. I said hello, and next thing I knew it had jumped up and got in my window. I petted it a bit and then it jumped onto the floor and proceeded to scout my entire room out, because I guess that's what cats must do. It didn't seem in any hurry to leave so I let it up to the kitchen.

Long story short, I think I made friends with a kitty? It eventually wandered out another window, but not before it spent like 15 or 20 minutes excitedly checking everything in kitchen out, and also coming over to me and rubbing itself off my legs. I hope it comes back again.

So for as bad as 2016 has been for a lot of people, here I am with concrete health improvements, and I'm not dreading 2017 nearly as much as I've dreaded every other new year. Who knows, maybe I won't be dead inside in another year?? Happy new year to all.

I feel like I'm doing too many things horribly wrong, so I'm scrapping it. It might look a lot better if I rebuild it in a couple of months. Or I might be able to see everything terrible. We'll see.

I was at the doctor's today for a review of the last week, and well, the diet is finished. I'm not going onto the next stage because I had no withdrawal symptoms and showed no signs of improvement. This means food allergies are ruled out.

It's good in a sense, but also bad, because it means the health front is once again at a dead end, and I'm stuck in another bad spot. I was doing reasonably well during the summer, but since September things have gone way down. I can't draw (Very little mental clarity) I can't go running, I can't go to school now again, and pretty much all I can do is go for walks whenever I feel able and do my best to not go mad.

There goes the light at the end of the tunnel.

So I've been thinking I should start sharing some music because of reasons. And if anybody's interested, you're more than welcome to recommend me anything, because I need new stuff to listen to and I'm terrible at finding music I like.

This is the Pacific Rim theme by Ramin Djawadi, AKA the guy who did the glorious music for the first Iron Man film.
