    Better late than never.

There are a couple of things missing from the picture (A Brickfair t-shirt and a small system set which I both got from the bling desk) but whatever.

    -Brickeens MOC
-I can't remember the name of the yellow thing (Or whether it's a Slizer, a Throwbot, or a Roborider)
-Two big red cement mixer tanks
-Lots and lots of clip tiles
-A bunch of white claws and EF arms
    -Prototype Tarix helmet

Thank you very very much, Deevs. <3

I'm back at school part time now. I'm taking seven German classes a week, and I might be picking up Science and maybe Maths as well. We'll see.

I've only just started, but I think things are looking good. Everybody seems to have grown up a lot, which means life there will be way more enjoyable. So, here's to this year of school being a success.

I think each day has been better than the last. Things are going really quickly. I met some more BZP members (Whenever I get my head together I'll make out a list of everyone I met this year) took pictures of stuff, watched Thylon (No wait Architect) build a pony, watched Zatth do some things which will make hilarious .gifs (Sumiki got videos of them) talked to a lot of people, and got a few small things from the vendors.

A good few of us actually had to leave Brickfair at around 9:30 because people under 21 are supposed to get out at 8PM, but that didn't stop me, Sumiki, Takuma, Takuma's cousin, and Avohkah Tamer having an awesome time, because we went and got something to drink and hung out together until around 11. They are very awesome people and it was great.

So, long story short, they still don't know what in the blazes is wrong with me. The less negative news is that they're not giving up here. They took more blood on Monday, and while I don't really understand what's going on they're doing DNA tests and looking for more metabolic problems that could be causing all the headaches, fatigue, nausea, and occasional muscular problems I have.

What is there even left to say at this stage?

Is Pohatu a new colour, or is he burnt orange? If it's a new colour I'd be cool as long as we get more of it, but if it's burnt orange making a glorious return, I will throw money the at the screen.

I meant to make a blog entry about the last day of Brickfair and all the rest last night, but I didn't get a chance. I'll write one or two entries about everything once I'm back at home in Ireland.

I'm sitting in Dulles International Airport right now and if things are on time I should be boarding the plane soon and departing a little after 10PM local time. I should arrive in Dublin at around 10AM Irish time, and after that there'll be 5-6 more hours of buses and trains to get home. I sure hope I can sleep on the flight, because if I don't I'll have missed a full night's sleep. I'm looking forward to being home.

Find two pieces that make a good chest when put together at difficult to achieve angle
Spend ages achieving said angle at the cost of structural integrity
    Impractical backwards facing shoulders

Continuing from here, things have changed yet again. The good news is, the yeast is busted. Apparently I've been on such a strong dose of medication there can't possibly be any left. The bad news is, I'm still not better, so there are further problems. My doctor says it's quite likely that the yeast infection caused me to develop allergic reactions to foods. This isn't as terrible as it sounds, because if this is the case the allergies will be curable, unlike some other food allergies I have.

In order to establish what foods I react to, I have to go on a 6 week exclusion/diagnostic diet, starting tomorrow or Thursday. Here's an extract from the form I have detailing the first stage of the diet:

You get the idea. It's very strict. I don't know what the diet starts adding after the first 8 days, but yeah. Apparently the first few days are kind of awful, because you get withdrawal symptoms.

    Bring it on.

So I got out of bed this morning (and by "this morning" I mean "midday" because I was up late okay) opened my window for a bit of fresh air, and was greeted by a cat mewing at me from the path. I said hello, and next thing I knew it had jumped up and got in my window. I petted it a bit and then it jumped onto the floor and proceeded to scout my entire room out, because I guess that's what cats must do. It didn't seem in any hurry to leave so I let it up to the kitchen.

Long story short, I think I made friends with a kitty? It eventually wandered out another window, but not before it spent like 15 or 20 minutes excitedly checking everything in kitchen out, and also coming over to me and rubbing itself off my legs. I hope it comes back again.

    - Brickfair tomorrow
    - Spent whole day on the go with Sumiki's family, now in hotel a few minutes away from the Expo Center
    - Health is holding out okay, but I'm wrecked from all the traveling, hoping I won't be sick in the morning
    - It's weird being such a long way away from home
    - LM, I'm really sorry about that massively stupid entry, I've felt terrible about that the last day
    - I feel like I've once again proved myself to be an absolute moron, except this time right before a load of people meet me
    - Good grief I'm stupid
    - I think I should sleep now, hopefully tomorrow will be a happy day

I actually hadn't heard of The Hunger Games until all the hype about the film came up. I was thinking of going to see it, but I held off because I didn't want to watch it having not read the book.

But while BZP was down, a friend gave me a loan of the book, which I read last Friday/Saturday, and I managed to see the film on Monday, -just- before it went out of my local cinema, so mission accomplished.

They were both fantastic. Spoilers ahoy while I explain how much I love them both.

So I had blood taken last week to test my creatine kinase levels, which are muscle enzymes or something. Wikipedia will explain better than I can. The results came back, and my levels aren't normal at all. My doctors don't know what this means, so I'm being referred to a specialist who will hopefully be able to figure things out from there.

I guess this would be bad news to most, but frankly, I'm really glad they've found something wrong, because this might offer some explanation as to why I've been unwell for the last three and a half years straight. I don't want to get my hopes up too much, but maybe, just maybe I'll have answers at long last?

Here's to this not being a dead end.
