Alternative Titles: Well At Least I Know My Comp's Better Than Cholie's Old Computer.

    -=Entry=-

So, yeah, remember last year, when I was playing through Half-Life 2, and I put up those Ravenholm entries? They're baaaaaaack. Thanks to me trying out HL2's demo(So that I know what it's like on my computer, given I was playing it on the Xbox last time), I am now back in Ravenholm. The sawblades are just as awesome as I remember. The headcrab zombies scare me more than I remember. And there are mysterious flies I don't recall hearing. Must be the earphones. =P

I may make this into a series like the Blenders, the Master Sword(Which I still need to photograph, now that it's brought up...), the Steam entries recently, and Minecraft. We'll see how well I handle Ravenholm. =P

(Also, the tags fit perfectly. =D)

Alternative Titles: No - There's No Three - Don't Ask.

That's all one title, I separate alternate titles with commas. =P

    So; dual entry!

First of all, remember the master Sword I was creating? Well, I more or less finished it! The only problem is; I don't know how to texture it that well(Especially with the Gnu Image Manipulation Program deciding to not handle PNGs anymore.), nor do I know how to take pictures of stuff that's been created. >>' That's really the only reason I haven't put up even an untextured version of the model yet. =/

Second... Well... This week hasn't been that great. Something happened a few days ago; which is the reason I was offline for the past two days, as otherwise I likely would've been annoyed for seemingly no reason.(Along with the fact that my computer wasn't plugged in until today. =P)

Though, yesterday was also due to my tooth starting to hurt a little, because of it seemingly finally appearing, after being blocked by my wisdom teeth until last year. However... All I could think at first was, 'What's with my teeth and the summer!?', because it was a year last month that I had my wisdom teeth out. =P

    [i'm Going To The Neeeeeeetheeeeeeeer]

So, following up from the last Minecraft Misadventures, I decided to head to the Nether after a little bit of not being sure what to do and making sure everything worked with the 1.4.6 update. This being the first time I went to my portal since I temporarily disabled the Nether Portal texture, I was amused to find the portal was all blue. =P Nonetheless, I went through once more, my view now on Short, so I could see the actual Ghasts, when they appeared. =P

First thing I did, was explore up the mountain I kept ignoring last time. Nothing, though I saw a mysterious place across a chasm of lava, so I made a bridge across. Ran outta cobble, but I luckily had dirt, and thought 'eh, I'll just use dirt for the last three blocks', estimating it. It literally used three blocks, which I never pull off. =P I explored around, but there wasn't really anything of interest, except for glowstone I couldn't reach without it falling in lava, which was unfortunate. =/

I continued looking around that spot, however; but as I was making a tunnel, my pick broke, so I had to head back. When I returned, however, I went around another way, headed more to southeast or so. After I spotted the first ghast of the session, I tried to kill it, but it was having more luck, managing to set the spot where I was standing on fire. I wasn't exactly pleased, but I survived that. =P I turn around, and find that another Ghast had crept up behind me, and was trying to kill me as well; however, I dodged a couple blasts, and then killed it with my first reflected shot, also gaining two gunpowder and a Ghast's Tear in the process, which I was pleased about.

I continued to make my way around the Nether, but nothing TOO exciting happened. I ran across a few more Ghasts which tried to kill me, but neither I nor the Ghasts had too much luck. I also did not find a single Nether Fortress; I think I had horrible luck in dimension generation there. =P On my way back, however, another Ghast tried to ambush me, however, I managed to somehow predict where it'd be correctly, while it was off screen, and killed it without even seeing it. Pure luck there. xD Unfortunately, it was over lava(Obviously, I can't have good luck, can I?), so I didn't get a single thing out of that, but still. That was awesome. xD Did I mention that I'm now playing on Hard now, since I never turned it off from when I was playing on NightCraft's world? Yeah. =P And I got back without any incident either.

What bugs me, however, is my death the last time. I found a portion of land around where my portal is, and it looks as if I was just barely missing the ground.(Not that it really would've helped, due to fall damage, but still) If I had've held forward, I probably would have avoided falling into the lava. I suspect a Ghast is to blame for that hole, since a ton of them were shooting me then, so there's no guarantee what they shot up. =P

Anyway, I get back, and wander around a little. I fixed up one of the many cave tunnels in my base, sealing it off so I can dig the gravel away and see if there's anything good around there later. I also got more potatoes. I have an entire stack of baked potatoes now, and a second stack coming soon. xD I then recalled my glass issue, and went to go get that, raiding a nearby beach. I also traveled around the nearby segment of land, looking for a good spot to make a train station, but couldn't find one yet. I also found a medium slime, but it was trapped in water, so I euthanized it. But I'm still alive!

I think that's about it. It was a rather boring session, since I wasn't entirely certain what to do, aside from the Nether run. ^^' I really expected to find a Nether Fortress, too... =/

    So, yeah, shameless plug.

The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny just got approved by Than earlier this evening, and now it is ready for play. I probably should have mentioned that that was the opening IC in the topic, but, well, I left that out. My mistake.

However, I have awesome plans for this, and I don't believe anyone will want to miss them. =D

I forgot 'bout the blog. Again.

Also, I got the second chappie done of Curse of Destiny a while back, but then... forgot to write more. Also, I'll debut it in March, also possibly writing new chapters if I don't get them all done now >_>''

Bleach went to it's fourth opening the other day, and it's awesome

    /EDIT: Whoops, forgot category >_>

Alternative Title: Wait - Who Are You Again?

That second title says it all. =P Ever since I changed my name, no-one recognizes me. xD This is why I always have 'Blade' in my name. ... Though, removing my avatar at the same time probably didn't help any. >>' Kept my sig the same, though, gotta give me credit there. xD

Alternative Titles: Yet Another Category Added.

So, I've had Firefox 14 for a wile now. Still wrapping my head around why they updated the GUI again, but it doesn't really matter, since it's mostly what I do anyway, what with splitting the back/forward buttons, keeping Refresh and stop separate(Which is likely because I split them myself. =P), and other such things.

However... There's one odd thing I've noticed... There's a globe symbol next to the address bar, where the Favicon used to be located(Which are always on the tabs as well, so it's no real big deal)... However, it never seems to change, for me. 0_o

Does anyone happen to know what it's for?

    Ok, little late, but meh.

The trailer for the new Bionicle game, which I assume is called Glatorian Arena, is full of WIIIIIN!! Between that and the rest of the updates, I think that this site launch was a rather big success.

Well, that was certainly an awesome episode. Since that line was in the trailer, I feel comfortable actually posting it, but otherwise, I'm going to stick to non-spoilers for the entry; however, that was certainly an epic way to start off the series. =D

Alternative Titles: Now How Do You Work This Thing...

So; just downloaded Blender onto my new computer. The problem is; I can't figure out how to actually add stuff or edit things. ._.; Or move things either; as I figured that it'd work by grabbing it and moving it around...

Alternative Title: So You're Gonna Knock Me Off The Course Eh...

So. I've been recently trying to 3 star the 150CC courses... I've gotten three cups done so, and now finished my fourth. That was a massive pain, though. xD

The first two tracks were fine, though there were some panic moments on DK Jungle(Not Rosalina's Ice World, it's one of the best courses on this game. =P).

Then I get to Bowser's Castle. I hate that track, I really do. ' For one, when you drift after the first/second thwomp, you have a 90% chance of sliding right off the track, and landing in the lava. -5 seconds, head to 6th place. Then there's the underwater part. Multiple sections like that. -10 seconds, fall to 7th place. Then there's all the blue shells and such so that when you do get into 1st place, you get knocked out. I had to do this track twice because of that; I fell off the track literally right before the end of the third lap, and no matter how hard I tried, there was simply not enough time to catch up. So, after I beat that a second time, it was onto Rainbow Road.

I was leading that more or less a good chunk of the time; though there was an absolutely cheap move right at the beginning, I somehow got hit by something, and got thrown off the track at the first ramp section. That was fine, I got back my lead by the time I got to the rings, and kept my lead all the way past, though there were a few times I was surprised that I didn't fall. Then you get to that spinning section that has the jumps following it. Surprisingly, I didn't mess up on the jump and get hurled into Oblivion(Though how I'd have gotten into an Elder Scrolls game is beyond me...); but my panic didn't help; I made a couple jumps, and then hurled myself off into Oblivion(There it is again!). I get set back onto the track with only about maybe a fourth or fifth of the race left; I make my way past those dang ramps, and hit an item box.

LIGHTNING GET! >=D I begin to drift, and hit the L button as soon as I could... Instantly, the entire group of opponents is sent spinning, and some even get knocked off the track. I then start laughing out loud literally, as I pass them all easily, without even having a mushroom or drifting, and proceed to win the race. This was literally right before the finish line; the last two turns! xD When the fall happened I was going "NO, NO, NO!!" And then when I got the lightning, that turned into "YES, YES, YES, TAKE THAT!!" Overall just awesome, as i did not want to replay that race again. =P Now to finish the rest... *Starts the other 'last' cup first* No way am I saving the SNES Rainbow Road for last... That'll be even more of a pain. >_>

Tag and category says it all. =P Wii's wi-fi is working again, and with that, comes online matches on GoldenEye again. How I missed it. =P

Also, I got Pokemon Battle Revolution the other day, and beat it's single player mode in about two or three days, more or less. I still need to perfect it better, but I have a lot finished. =) Been thinking of trying the online, but I don't have a competitive team, so I'd likely have the floor wiped with my team. =|

Brawl seems to be glitching for me, though; randomly freezing at times. =/ I'll try to get it working, but it might take a little while.

Alternative Title: Or Should I Say My Own Laptop.

So, got a laptop of my own last week. =D FInished setting it up Friday night, been using it to browse stuff since then.

It's rather convenient, even if it needs to be plugged in all the time. =) Looks like it can run Blender too, but there's still the whole 'I have no mouse for it' problem. Unless I can mimic the functions, but I don't know if I want to try. =P

Dang enter; it submitted the post on me. xD

I've also been writing a Pokemon-related story, however, I might hold off on posting it; at least until I get further in. =)

So... As I said; I chose Snivy(Nicknamed Smugleaf), and my trainer name is Alex. Gonna be brief, since I can't waste all my time on writing. xD

    Start, Nuvema Town:

So, me, Cheren, and Bianca all chose different Pokemon; Bianca an Oshawott, and Cheren a Tepig. I easily won both battles, got the Pokedex, and Town Map, along with the Xtransciever.

    After watching the tutorial on catching, and the talking finished, I walked through the grass, and found a... Patrat. ... Lovely. Managed to will myself not to kill it, and caught it easily. Nicknaming it Roadkill, to show how much I like Patrat. =P Since that'll need training most, I'm gonna train that first, and hope it doesn't die on me first. ;

After nearly having my Patrat faint, I eventually decided just to head to Accumula. It's just not worth having everything faint trying to make them stronger, when you can't revive fainted Pokemon in a Nuzlocke. =P

    Accumula Pokemon Stats:

    Smugleaf: Level 7
    Roadkill: Level 5

    Let the Nuzlocke begin!

    Accumula City:

Blah, blah, blah, tutorials everywhere. Grabbed the Pokeball, hoped for a potion I didn't get, and instead got a free heal(My last one, to my knowledge. D=), and bought a ton of potions.

Fought N, won by a long shot(Honestly I did more damage in one turn with a critical hit than he did the entire battle. And he was two levels higher. >>), went outside the city, got the Running Shoes, and fought a... PURRLOIN! ... What. I swear this game's forcing me to get all the ones I don't want... At least I'll be getting a Simipour. ... Watch it be male, to spite me. >_>

Anyway, this is how weird my thought processes can get: I named the Purrloin SpoonyBard. After thinking of how well it worked as a thief. And then drawing a blank on those names, and instead picking from others in Final Fantasy 4. And that being the first that popped into my mind. Wow. xD

Anyway, after a few close calls, I leveled up more, and went to exit to Striaton, to heal, get my money, and crush the three brothers! ...

    Bianca: "Hey! Listen!"

Oh no, no, no, not a battle now... D= Sure enough, it is indeed a battle... And after one close call, I swept the floor with Bianca's team. Snivy is awesome. Patrat too, even. =P

    Well, so far so good!

    Striaton Pokemon Stats:

    Smugleaf: Level 9
    Roadkill: Level 8
    SpoonyBard: Level 7

    Onward we go!

    Striaton City:

Gah. This has been the main reason I haven't updated for a few hours. >_> Let's see...

First off, I went straight to the Dreamyard, after gathering up the spare items lying around. Two battles, right off the bat. Won both perfectly, but it began to whittle my team down. Worth it, though; got a Panpour. A male Panpour. Named it Vezok. =P

Next, I went to the school to advance things, and crushed Cheren. If you'll believe it, he was easier than those trainers in the Dreamyard. =P Then I attached the berries he gave me, and headed to the gym itself. Gah. I don't remember it being so hard. >_< Then again, I probably caught like 10 Patrat to switch out to when I fought it last. =P

First one, not a big problem. Second first, the first time, I lost my Snivy right off the bat. Accidentally turned the power off, though; but I don't think things would've gone well. Second time, I didn't hit the power button by accident, and won the match perfectly, prepared this time.

Then came Chili. Gah. I hate that Lillipup of his. Kept spamming that move in the TM he gives out. Then proceeded to sweep my entire team, almost. Nearly took him out with my Panpour, but BAM, hit the power button again. I really am half tempted to play this on my 3DS, instead of my old DS. But since my 3DS is busy waiting with Black in it, I can't really do that. =P

Take two, I level up this time, and then take down the Lillipup with my Patrat and Snivy. Pansear was taken down exclusively by my Panpour, despite not having leveled up like the last time I fought Chili. xD

Then came the Dreamyard again. Luckily, it was just Team Plasma, so I wiped the floor with them, and am just stopping to grab my 3DS and use the C-Gear. So, yeah.

    Route 3 Pokemon Stats:

    Smugleaf: Level 13
    Roadkill: Level 13
    SpoonyBard: Level 11
    Vezok: Level 12

Wish me luck for the future, I think I'll need it. =P

Alternative titles: Because I Haven't Blogged About Megaman Much Since Bzp Returned

/EDIT: Finally finished; sorry for the wait. Blame the 3DS for having a character limit. xD

So, I just finished thrashing the final boss of Zero 4 for like the hundredth time in 2 years. Yes, I know, shocking.

This has to do with ending spoilers, but hey, the collection's been out for 2 years, the game itself for like 8 years(... I feel old, I remember wanting to play it right when it came out. D=), so if you haven't played the game and beat it; What are you waiting for?!

So, uh, anyway. Back to what I was saying. So, Zero fight Weil, gives his whole "I never called myself a hero" speech, and promptly blows Weil to pieces. And, coincidentally, himself. Whoops. So, while Ciel has a nice little mental breakdown, he lies in pieces in a desert. OR DOES HE? What are the chances, honestly of the only thing surviving an atmospherical entrance being a not-so-damaged helmet and an intact sword? I know people have dealt with my conspiracy theories every time I played through the end of this game... But... It seems too convenient. Sure, the guy deserves his rest before being turned into a living rock only to sacrifice himself again... But... It seems very odd that the sabre just happens to make a humanoid shadow, and also just so happens to be completely intact. If it was even partly broken it wouldn't make that shadow, no?

And honestly, for being on a free-falling piece of satellite that plunged through the atmosphere, his helmet doesn't look that bad. Sure, it's missing pieces, but the guy just finished like 10 battles in a row, logic says he'll take damage.(Now, the player on the other hand...) The helmet should be totally destroyed, is what I'm getting at. No miraculous 'Oh, it just happens to still have it's shape so you know it's him', if you want that, have one piece of broken red helmet with the gem... Not pretty much the whole thing.

Might Iadd this is a series that makes a habit of surviving unplausible things?(Zero himself is bad for this... See the shuttle crash from X5 that he just so happens to survive, both slamming into a space colony, and proceeding to get his waist blown off, his arm destroyed, and a laser through the chest, and still manages to kill Sigma with a laser blast of his own before 'dying'. Did I mention he just happened to have enough body left to either 'repair himself', have someone else repair him, or just plain have his body eventually be stolen in time for the Zero series?)

Let's see... In order... Robot Timeline: Wily had a brick dropped on him in the third game. He got better. Protoman was supposedly dying. He got better(Then died for real by the time the X series rolled along. =P). Then a century later, Vile had X and Zero trapped. Zero decided to be heroic and self-destructed to give X a chance. He got better. Sigma died in every X game, but the problem is that he won't stay dead. Also Vile, he died in the first game, got better for the third and promptly died again, returned for the eighth game... Do I have to say it? He died. I wouldn't honestly be surprised if he returns for a ninth game, provided Capcom makes one. Then there's the whole X5 death for Zero... spoiler, he got better. Then, for the Zero series, we have Phantom, destroyed in first game, returns in third... Though, that was in 'cyberspace'. Heck, X died in Z2, and continued to play a role until the end of Z3. Aside from that, the Zero series was Ironically tame with this.

Then we have the ZX series. They revived pretty much every dead character from the Zero series, if the form of living rocks. And then there's the whole twist in ZXA, where the main bad guy seems to die... But pulls an Aizen on us, as the body was fake. And Model Z sacrifices himself. Again. I notice a pattern here, anyone else? Wasn't too much happening in Legends(That we know about. >_>), but there were a few 'How'd they survive THAT moments with the Bonnes. And Trigger himself, before the series started. And don't get me started on the body switching from Legends 2.(My 3DS is taunting me. It nearly had me typo that with 3 instead of 2. >=/)

That's just the classic series. Network Timeline: Where do I start... Wily. Didn't he die in the first game? If not, why wasn't he directly around for BN2? I forget that, since I haven't played 1. I can't forget 2! There is no way Lan should be alive, I don't care what anyone says. He walked right into the middle of a nuclear zone, and somehow survived. Granted, he never died, but... He should have. Not complaining, since Lan's awesome, but he's too lucky. xD Then 3... I believe that's when the 'they died' 'nope i got better' situation started... See: Megaman dying, but actually being okay; Wily surviving his base exploding. Then there's 4, where Regal jumps off his base's platform... And survives for 5. Which leads me into that... I can't remember how many supposed deaths there were in 5; Navi or otherwise. However, the main ones were that Regal apparently died again; but survived it somehow with mild amnesia. Take note the guy was in an exploding volcano base, right next to a probably nuclear device that was intended to merge the virtual world with the physical one. And he survived. And don't get me started on Wily and Baryl, who were there too(Albeit probably in different variants, I don't believe they were both there in the same game. Could be wrong, though.). And both were perfectly okay for 6. And speaking of 6; I forget what the ending was entirely, but Baryl was in a room. That exploded. And if I remember correctly, he still managed to be revealed to have survived. Think Wily died, though. Or maybe he survived too; dunno, I kinda rushed through the ending of BN6 so that I could play the endgame without that stupid Panic Music. =P

That was all just Battle Network. Then there's Star Force. It's much tamer; in the first two games, at least. Let's see: First game's obvious; Geo's dad, supposedly dead on that spaceship explosion; turns out he was simply turned into EM waves. Then, in the second game, when Solo creates a black hole that drags all of Geo's friends but Luna into it. They should be dead; but no! Not even two seconds later; right in the next cutscene, they're revealed to be alive. Turns out it just transported them elsewhere. And of course the exploding Mu, when Geo just happens to be in Solo's way, and gets saved. Only the bonus ending actually explains that, though, IIRC. =P

But then there's Star Force 3. Oooh boy. First of all: Luna dies. And gets brought back to life. FROM DATA. How?! But, wait! That's just the start. Well, kinda. Before we had Club Strong, who was fragmented in a similar attack, and reassembled. Didn't work out as well. So, that's two. Then we have Ace; who somehow managed to absorb an explosion, make everyone be convinced he died and grieve for him; and then somehow manage to be just lying in a hospital bed at the end. No explanation for that one at all. He shouldn't even have had the data needed, given all the noise that was around. But wait; there's still more. The gambits at the end all involved deaths of some sort. First off; King dies; but not really, he gets better in time to try and take over the final boss. Didn't work out too well, though, IIRC. And how could anyone forget the fact that after utterly decimating the last boss, Geo's left stranded in space, with seemingly no way to get home? Well, he manages it, surviving an atmospheric reentry better than either time Zero did so, not having a single scratch. Then Omega-Xis does it. Then Geo's father. All three survived reentry. And yet Zero apparently can't in his own game series? Very suspicious.

So; yeah; back to Zero. If all those characters can survive impossible stuff, including not one, not two, but three shooting star moments(Literally for one, since he's Shooting Star Rockman. =P); I just don't see how Zero couldn't have, especially with his damaged, but not destroyed, equipment.

    [Whee, Scratches]

This is to anyone who rents games from libraries and other rental services. Please do yourself, and everyone else who rents the game after you a favour, and stop using the disks as frisbees! >_< I'm starting to get tired of getting games or music, and having to hope that it works, instead of, you know, not every getting to the logo screens for the company that produced the game.

I could be playing Persona 4 right now, but instead, I can't even get past the 'PlayStation 2' logo screen, because it keeps just displaying a black screen after that. And since the movie I rented worked all the way through, and I can load up Mega Man X7, I know it's not the system, even if it was doing similar stuff before I even got to put the disk in. But even then, unplugging it helped there, and the main menu screen for the PS2 wouldn't even appear. Here, it loads everything, recognizes the disk, and even gets past the PS2 logo after checking the disk, but yet, it won't go any FURTHER than that. And of course, I checked the disk first... It's pretty badly scratched.

Basically, the entire surface has scratches that alternate rows, but go around in a circle eventually. They don't seem that deep, but when you have almost the entire surface covered because of those scratches, and the various other scratches that inevitably appear in these types of situations, it's pretty easy to know why the game won't load. Which brings up an interesting question: How did the last person who had the disk even manage to play it!? 0_o

Basically, take better care of your games, movies, and CDs(Even if it's not 'yours' full-time), because the next people to get it may become rather annoyed at you if the thing's unplayable. -_-'

So, I made it to Water Hazard. And I have no clue where I'm going. =) Well, actually, apparently I'm heading to the scene of the crime from last game, which is very interesting. But yeah, I'm finally out of Route Kanal, which is good. Head Crabs were but a distraction.
