    Yes, I seem to be in that state, not just here but online in general...

    Just got back from my brother's, refreshed from a weekend of constant philosophic and writing talk.

    My story has reached 81 pages, and I've finally began to hit waves of writer's block. :/

    The Hunger Game RPG is kinda on a back burner right now.

    Meh. I'm losing interest in BZP a lot, fueled in a way by the recent happenings. On top of that, things aren't going the best in my life right now, and several of my friends vanished off the face of BZP.

    So I'm downgrading myself to the status of a blog lurker.

    So anyways, haven't posted on here in a bit, so I figured I might as well ramble a bit.

    Working on an RPG with Krayzikk for the upcoming RPG contest, and it's going quite well. It should be interesting seeing the competition as the deadline gets closer.

    As to real life, I'm currently feeling pretty jubilant, despite the fact that my sister is moving back in next week; after her stormy exit, I am not looking forwards to having her in the same house again. But anyways, I just discovered today that an impediment I thought I had towards entering seminary isn't one, so I'm pretty happy! Gnawing worry about that sort of thing is not fun at all.

    Looking forwards to seeing Kingdom of Heaven once I get it via interlibrary loan. The fact that it's in the crusades and is supposed to present a fairly good picture of it alone makes me look forwards to seeing it.

    Also, is anyone else doing Nanowrimo? I'm already making an outline of the story I'm writing for it.

    Yep, my cat batted an ornament, it fell down. I brushed against it, the tree fell down. I swear, it was staying up by some miracle, that's how badly we had set the base.

    On another note, don't expect any MOCs from me for a very long time. You see, I still haven't been able to even upload the pics of my Brickcon MOCs. We lost our camera cord.

    I urge you to read Member interview 28. Gata is interviewing some weird nutcase - one of many here.

    And a shocking thing is known! 42 is not the answer to everything! Read it to find out what is.

    I used more emoticons in my post the n the board would allow, so I had to use =P instead of

    On a lighter not, I stayed up 'til 1 AM working on my latest MOC, a gunmetal and black sniper ninja. To those of you who are going to Brickcon, make sure you look for it.

    EDIT: On another note, don't expect me to be very active in the TBRPGs I'm in. I just don't have the interest atm... And on yet another note, I updated the Prank war story. Changed the fight between me and Kini (Mainly adding a description of myself as I had forgotten)

    Memories...

    You live your life nonstop; never resting, never halting, always pushing on.
    You forget all your past; all your failures, all the hurts. It happened in a different life, not one related to yours.
    Yet somewhere along the road; somewhere on your journey. A image of your past comes flying, striking like a brick.
    The pain wells up, your conscience screams; what monster made this past? And how could it be yours?
    And then it passes, as do you, always to a different land.
    But every smile, every laugh, every piece of joy.
    It all reminds you of your past; of the memories that will not die.

    That's it; my first try at anything poetry related.

    As a note, I have no practice or skill at writing poetry. I wrote this totally by feel.

    So, yesterday was the graduation/promotion night for my homeschool group, although no one was graduating this year. It seems that I'm getting into a pattern: everytime I'm down at the church where we holds the graduation and a few other events, I find myself in intense religious discussion/debate with a friend. Comes from being the only Catholic in a Protestant group, I suppose. This time, however, my dad got into religious debate with three of the dads as well. In our defense, we didn't initiate said debates: the dads had been meaning to talk religion since last year, and my friend keeps bringing up religion, not me.

    To make a long story short, I got bored and started listening to the debate my dad was in. And before you knew it, I had pretty much supplanted my dad in the debate. Needless to say, we were probably the last peopple to leave. In terms of explaining, I think I did well. I doubt I had to back down on a single point, whereas often my opponents were forced to hurriedly change the subject. So I'm happy.

    By then I had gotten nicely worked out intellectually, which feels pretty good, almost like physically working out. The bad side? My mouth is still a little tired from talking so much. :|

    I was going to do a themed story, but first I thought if I did one on All Hallows Eve, it might be too religious, so I decided to stick with the essence of All Hallows Eve and then...

    Yeah, by then I ran out of inspiration.

    My reaction to playing it:

    "FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" *Squeals, hops around, knocking everything in the nearby vicinity onto the floor.*

    Anyways, after a year of waiting, my family computer that can run Mount&Blade got fixed, so I can now play it.

    And it's awesome. Although I need to stop attacking parties of a dozen horse archers by myself.

    So yeah, I might be a tad inactive on BZP....

    A happy advent to ye.

    So I finally downloaded MSN messenger. After several failed attempts I created a windows live ID (Zarayna@live.com, I believe) And my Firewall blocked it!

    So I'll have to get my dad to unblock it when he gets home.

    Grr....

    EDIT: I have another reason to like AIM better. MSN only works on one of my family's computers. The one I rarely use

    Alright, I've been thinking about writing about this for a while.

    Bionicle has had a great run. Ten years of amazing story and sets. Then it gets ended. That itself was in my mind a good move on Lego's part. The newness of Bionicle had definitely gone, Bionicle was (at least for me) getting to be boring. The set designs were repetitive, etc.

    Now, there's always the possibility of it returning in the future. Here is why I don't think that is a good idea.

    If lego returned Bionicle, what are they going to do. Say to its new fans "Oh sorry, all this stuff we're talking about was explained in the original story ten years ago, go search for it, and whatever." Or - more logically - have a totally different story and characters.

    And...

    That wouldn't be Bionicle. If they gave it an entirely different story, and characters, with no ties to the old line, they might as well rename it.

    Of course they could have a story loosely related to the old story, and give a short summary of the old story.

    But...

    A short summary of Binoicle? Is that physically possible?

    The story is so huge and wound around itself, I cannot image a simple, short summary of Bionicle that would leave nothing major unsaid...

    ~~~
    Feel free to discuss this here; however, all comments on my blog have to be approved by myself, and I will edit/delete any comments that are flamish. Please, I want to have a civil discussion, if you please.
    Zarayna: Procrastination King
    King of Procrastination
    Sadly, the first is too long - I think.
    But anyways, as some people *glances at Peach* have noticed, I procrastinate like all Karzahni. You know, taking a month or more to review a single story.
    So i think I might as well claim the crown.
    And you have six days to steal it before i vanish off the face of the web.
    Is a mess, a total mess. I mean it. RPG profiles, unfinished stories and RPG ideas, invisible dots, random quotes I need to add to a favorite quote block. A MESS.
    Zarayna Sigur Foireann
    Name: Grothak
    Gender: Male
    Species: Skakdi
    Alignment: Evil
    Appearance: Grothak stood to his formidable eight feet of height, his mottled brown and green armor seeming to shimmer in the evening sun. His small, close-growing spine and small grin making him look almost unlike a Skakdi.
    Grothak is a slightly mutated Skakdi, his spine is part of his body itself, with spikes jutting out of his armor at places all over his body. His face is quite different then a Skakdi's, for the huge grin is far smaller.
    Powers: Grothak's eyebeams cause an extremely painful headache for a short period (perhaps a half hour at the very most), His fire power is channeled through his arrows, making them quite deadly when he wishes them to be. Also, he can shield himself from all forms of detection for a short period (Perhaps ten minutes).
    Abilities: Grothak is an expert at stealth, as well as being a skilled warrior. However, he is not the typical brute.
    Weapons & Equipment: A recurve bow, Grothak's fire power is channeled through it.
    Personality: Grothak is cold, rather heartless, and quite cunning. However, he sometimes like to play at being the typical Skakdi madman, just to fool his enemies.
    Where there is anger and war, we will bring peace and justice.
    Where there is sadness and despair, we will bring joy and hope.
    Where there is death, we will spare life.
    Where there is pride and selfishness, we will bring humility and selflessness.
    The internet. Yeah, just a bunch of pixels on a flat screen. But, did you ever wish that it was more then that? I know I did. Hehy, that was all the way back in 2010, back when the internet was just like I described. But now. Ah, it's so much more.
    let me put it this way. Ever heard of virtual reality?
    Well, that's what happened. those two got blended.
    Welcome to the world of the internet, my friend. It's changed. No more do you sit at a computer, with your mind in the real world. Now you're body's in the real world, and your mind is in the virtual one.
    So welcome to this small corner of the web. And I gotta tell you, BZPower aint the safest place.
    BZPower (Powered by Invision Power Board)
    Death from inside?
    Welcome to the world of BZPower forums, the online fan-forum of Bionicle. It's a lot different then the 'veterans' remember it. After all, a forum you actually live in almost, is a lot different then just a website, isn't it?
    But of course, it wasn't the safest place. Because, just like in the old internet, you have hackers, spammers, trollers, and all that bad stuff. And here, they were a lot worse. For as the internet felt like real life, then you could feel pain. And hackers, flamers, trolls, and all those unsavory kinds did all they could to inflict harm to the members. But the staff repulsed them ease. Indeed, BZPower was safe from all harm from outside forces.
    Little did they know, but their worse attackers would be from the inside.
    It started so small, just as almost every major conflict did.
    Bionicle ended.
    That was it, that was all. The Bionicle toyline ended.
    But the discussion over it was heated, some people angry over its ending, and hating the new theme that came out, Hero Factory. Others were more in a 'oh well, it's over. Hey, this new theme looks interesting'. And there were even people who were glad Bionicle ended.
    Needless to say, the discussion kept on going almost to the point of borderline flaming.
    And then it happened.
    Some hackers joined the site, hearing about this conflict, trying to bring down BZPower from the inside.
    They worked small at first, posing as members, even creating accounts. And they began to stir up anger among the members themselves. And biding their time, waiting for the right time to strike.
    And they had not long to wait.
    Flame wars were running rampant,
    It was a windswept field, next to a ruined village, long abandoned. There had once been a battle there, for here and there you could see the gleam of a blade, long abandoned. A figure stood at the edge of it, his silver and green body shaking. His eyes were filled with guilt behind a tear-streaked Faxon.
    He was Toa Lessovikk, and he was viewing the field of his greatest failure. He could have, he should have. He knew he could have saved them. Yet, yet he had chosen to save himself over his comrades.
    **** it. I am such a Piraka. I could have saved my team from those ****ed Zyglak, yet I couldn't, I didn't. All I needed to do was create a bit of wind.
    But I thought my team might have been hit by it! It was too risky!
    Risky? They were going to die anyways
    .....200 years ago.
    .....Our last communication has been cut off. Curse this valley! Alas, we should have sensed the danger, but it is too late.
    .....We are cut off from the rest of Spherus Magna, in a valley surrounded by living mountains, mountains that eat anything that tries to cross it.Even the ground we walk, the water we drink, the trees we see, that all want our lives. What have we ever done to deserve this?
    The Forbidden Valley
    Our own folly unleashed upon us.
    .....The great planet of Spherus Magna was fused together again, the evil Makuta defeated and slain. Peace reigned.
    .....But as many found, during peace, the greatest danger is from within, and so it was. The dwellers of bara magna looked down upon the Matoran and Toa as machines, and of course, this did not make the members of the Matoran Universe very friendly towards them, as you might imagine. The friction lasted for years, until a large group of Skakdi, Vortixx, Matoran, Toa, and many other Matoran Universe species just left, seeking a new life on some unsettled part of the planet.
    .....At last they came across a perfect place, a huge valley, untouched by anything. it was rich in minerals, to the delight of the Onu-Matoran, and provided a wide variety of clients. They settled down there.
    .....But their happiness was not to last, for they quickly learned something. This valley, it was alive. And it was becoming aware of their presence. Settlers were swallowed up by the ground, ground that would not answer to the power of any earth Toa. They quickly found that the only thing not hostile was the air itself.
    .....Now, fully two hundred years later, massive cities have been built in the sky itself, utilizing the levitation/gravity disk system used in Metru Nui airships. The city is perfect, untouched by any outside force. As you could imagine, boredom and frustration over the lack of activity built up. To relieve the tension, the leaders of the cities came up with an arena system (Insert Mang's system here)
    -Technology-
    By: Zarayna
    This is something I've been seeing in Bionicle RPGs here. It's always modern tech, sometimes even so bad that people forget that they're in a Bionicle RPG.
    No, I'm not going to make a ban or anything, but I would most likely shoot down someone who makes their chara have nothing but our world tech.
    Guns? Grenades? Cell phones? Toasters? Ipods? No, just no.
    So for tech, look at the Xian weapons, and other Bionicle weaponry, that's what I'm looking for in this RPG.
    Tahu looked around nervously, adjusting a piece of white or gray armor here and there.
    Karz, why did I choose to go as Kopaka, now I'll have to go to Ko-Metru. Sheesh, I could have just gone as Jaller, I could have stayed in Ta-Metru, No one would guess I wasn't Jaller. But what if there's a Rahi attack and I have to use my powers? It'd be over! he thought wildly, sweating more then a little as he got off his Ussal, realizing with a start that he had been sitting there for several long minutes. He got to his feet, prepping himself to act like Kopaka for the next few hours. After all, it would be humiliating to be discovered at the masquerade party itself.
    Target, Turaga Goran, a Turaga of iron. Mission: Retrieve his staff and pack, no questions asked. Eliminate if necessary. Price for failure: Painful dismemberment.
    Fiera smirked as she mentally reviewed the details of her latest job. Little room for error, large payment, this was her type of job. And in this small Matoran village on the Southern continent, the job should be painfully easy.
    Unless I'm not the only one after this Turaga. That Steltian looked a little nervous.
    Shrugging off those thought, the Vortixx stepped into the shadows as a Matoran guard marched by. Her eyebrows raised. Usually Matoran were wimps who couldn't survive without a Toa. Perhaps this might make her mission a little more difficult...
    But those thought could wait until a later time, for up ahead was the Turaga's dwelling, a larger, two story building. She took every detail into account. Two Matoran guards, looking wide awake and alert, another odd thing, usually Matoran would be half asleep by now. This definitely would make thing hard.
    Chapter Four Naming Day
    -Ga Metru-
    * * *
    .....Ha'naz was finally in his element. Not in a court, not in an office, not listening to a speech he had heard for the past fifty years, no. He was standing in the weaponry part of the training school, helping his new students pick out their weapons. In front of him was the first of them, a light blue and green armored Matoran. Ha'naz instantly recognized her as one of the Matoran in the brawl during Alhast's opening speech. She had guts, he had to admit, and a lot of skill in combat, mostly due to how she had beaten a Ta-Matoran twice her strength with ease. Granted, she would need to learn a little discipline, but she would probably be better than most of this batch, at least in fighting.
    .....Now, however, her gaze was riveted to the long rows of weaponry. He instantly checked her blind rush at it.
    "Whoa, slow down, the weapon you pick is going to determine how you fight, and it'll have to last you a long while." She stopped at his words, and began prowling the rows, looking at each weapon twice. At last she stopped, giving a sigh. Ha'naz had heard it many times. it was the 'what weapon do I choose?' sigh. He walked over, snatching a pair of Protosteel shocking claws off as he passed. Neria looked up as he approached, and he held them out.
    "Here, I suggest these, I saw the way you fight, melee's probably your best style." She took them, thanking him timidly. Evidently she held him in some awe, most newer members did.
    * * *
    .....The new members were done there, Kalon taking a pair of small maces, Zernax took a sword and shield, and Valhast chose a iron studded staff. Now they were in the sparring area, facing Ha'naz, learning how to use those weapons, and getting whipped in the practice duels with wooden forms of their weaponry. Valhast was the only one who came even close to defeating Ha'naz, landing a lucky blow that sent the Toa's Kanohi flying. But they were learning how to fight at least.
    * * *
    .....At last everything was done, and they collapse in their room, rubbing their sore muscles, straightening their armor and masks, or simply collapsing on their beds.
    ....."So how many times did he crack you on that Kanohi?" Valhast asked Kalon, shaking his head as he began repairing the damage to the Ko-Matoran's great-shaped Huna.
    "About a dozen times, maybe more. But how about the time he sent both your Kanohi and shoulder armor into the wall," Kalon shot back quickly from where he lay on his bunk. Valhast rolled his eyes.
    ....."I never knew that you took such an interest in how many times Ha'naz beat us to a pulp?"
    ....."Nah, I think you'd be the one, you're the scholar person, yaknow?"
    ....."Guys, why are you arguing?" Zernax cut in.
    ....."Oh come on, since when were we arguing?"
    ....."Oh, since about since this conversation started," Valhast replied, turning back to his work with a snort. Kalon rolled his eyes and walked away.
    .....Days passed by quickly, until the four Matoran were some of the few people left in the school. Naming Day was the next day, and most Matoran had left to spend the holiday with their family and friends. As several of them had neither, they had decided to spend it together.
    .....Valhast had gone off to the library again, Zernax was getting some extra weapon practice in, Kalon had disappeared into thin air, and Neria was lying on her bed, petting a small, gray Muaka kitten Kalon had given her. As she stroked it, a bit of green caught her attention. Alarm bells ringing in her head, she looked over at it, her half smile turning into a frown. Angrily she got to her feet, walking over to tear down the sprig of mistletoe.with a half snarl of anger, she sent it flying at Kalon's bed. She was going to kill him.
    .....It was a full quarter of an hour before Kalon returned, glancing over where Neria was curled up, imitating her kitten. He grinned and turned his back on her, walking over to his bed.
    .....A moment later Neria slammed into his back, sending him to the ground with a gasp.
    ....."Neria, what?-"
    ....."Don't. Ever. Do. That. Again," the Le-Matoran hissed, her eyes angry slits. Than she got to her feet and stalked out of the room, leaving a very confused Kalon behind.
    * * *
    .....It was just Zernax's bad luck that he ran into Neria on his way back.
    ....."Hey, Neria, what's up?" he asked, wondering why she seemed so uptight. The only reply he got was Neria growling and pushing past him.
    Were your eyes blasted out by that? THAT'S what I mean by mess.
    Must. Clean. Now. >.<
    Yeah, trying to decide on what to change my name to.
    Zarayna: Noob wrangler (My favorite, although it could be offensive to some people.)
    Zarayna - Power of Sonics (My perma name}
    IC - Zarayna - BZPower: (Let's face it, RPing is taking my life over. )
    The Kikinalo Causes Chaos! (Don't ask. Was originally going to be The kikinalo Kauses Kauos, until I realized what it spelled. )
    The Zarman
    Zarayna Sigur Foireann (AKA not change it)
    So yeah, thoughts?
  16. Grantaire
    So I finally decided to do a Les Mis name change. I first thought of Marius, switched momentarily to Enjolras, and finally decided on the bishop. But now:
    1: Bishop Myriel.
    2: Monseigneur Bienvenu
    3: The Bishop of Digne
    I'm torn between these.
  17. Grantaire
    So, soon I'll be changing my name..
    Zarayna - The Quiet Light
    Zarayna - Soul of Fire
    zarayna - A Toa reborn
    Those are my current ideas... Any suggestions?
