    Remember The Name
Fort Minor Feat. Styles Of Beyond

Describing the best quality of this song is difficult. Lyrically, it is intuitive, taking a new twist on the traditional gangster brag, written entirely in third person, creativity twisting rap's lyrical edge with mixing gangster themed song writings and something that is actually worth writing about, as in, it's not about sex, money, or drugs! (Insert '=O' here). Instead, the song focuses on "what [Fort Minor] is all about" and "the formula for success" which is, quite memorably...

    "This is ten percent luck,
    twenty percent skill,
fifteen percent concentrated power of will,
    five percent pleasure,
    fifty percent pain,
    And a hundred percent reason,
    to remember the name,"

The beat is amazing too, earning a place among the best rap beats I've ever heard. A lively blend of non-traditional instruments (Not a drum or guitar in here) create an unique, unmistakable, and ultra catchy beat that is unparalleled in it's creativity and flat out awesomeness. A good song needs a good beat and Remember the Name raises the bar for a good beat.

Finally, vocals. This song features a stylistic (Please forgive the pun) mix of three rappers, something you simply don't hear very often. This song could have worked simply with Mike Shinoda alone, but added with the rapping duo Tak and Ryu it adds a level of freshness and uniqueness to each verse.

Rating A: This is rap at it's best. In Leada's opinion. =P

The ending of K-On! was anticlimactic. Fortunately, it was aired relatively recently in Japan (April 09, or so I've heard), so a season 2 is likely enough to hope for. ^^

So every other week I have a half day of classes on Saturday, but a half day of Wednesday every week. Which is fail and awesome, respectively.

On the other hand, I have more vacation time than anybody on the whole freakin' planet. =P

leik hai guyz. Guess what? Yeah, wasn't here this weekend. But what was I doing? What possible excuse of an actual life could I possibly have for not being here a whole weekend? Oo

    idunnolol. =P

Actually, I went camping with some friends. (^^) It was a total blast. =D

Friday: Got at the campsite, unpacked, went biking, ate a subway sandwich for dinner, cursed the rain, played sardines.

Saturday: Got up, ate breakfast, began doing activities like biking, green up day, fire starting, and a obstacle course. Did a relay race with my friends composed of an obstacle course, running, fire building, pulling two huge chunks of granite, and bike riding. Did we win? Yepz. ^^

Had MREs (Meal Ready to Eat) for lunch, which is what soldiers eat while in the field or about to be field. Which was kinda cool. They weren't bad, but they weren't excellent either. Wouldn't want to eat the same type three times a day everyday for a month. *Shrug*

    Sunday: Went home. =O

Yeah she copyrighted it. Yeah I got written permission. Yeah Diski is awesome. Yeah I'm going to be more awesome and created more original content blocks. Yeah this is the end of this blog entry.

    John Freeman’s Journal, 1st Entry
    September, 18th 1826

This city is dying. Crumbling to dust. The life is being sucked slowly from veins, leaving only death and decay. I’m writing these words in this journal so that future generations will know what horrors have happened here and learn from it. So such an another incident can be avoided.

How did this happen? How could London become this? It all started a few weeks ago, with a single murder. Ashley Fairchild, I believe was her name. A murder never makes one feel secure and safe, but there was something particularly disturbing about this one. Namely, most of the blood had been drained out of her body. Most of the superstitious fanatics blamed Vampires. They were a general agreement that precautions should be taken so that they was no possible way that she could become a Vampire.

Her unbeating heart was stabbed with a wooden stake and her mouth was stuffed with garlic. Her body was dipped in ‘Holy Water’ and she was buried under a cross shaped gravestone. For added safety her body was chained and her coffin top was covered in strong metal. Guess there is no such thing as respect for the dead when Vampires are involved. There was even a guard placed in front her gravesite.

The next morning the guard was found dead, a single shot left from his double barrel shotgun. There was a sickly yellow liquid on the ground, some pieces of broken chain link, a shattered stake and garlic cloves on the ground. The cross gravestone had been snapped in half, and the grave had been dug up by a pair of claws. Of course, the coffin itself was empty.

Not taking anymore chances, the City had the guards head chopped off and the body burned at the stake. Then for a while, things went silent. It almost seemed like the city had gone back to normal. But no one expected it would stay that way. Sure enough, after a while, people began to disappear. Nobody knew where they had disappeared to, but they had a pretty good guess of what happened to them. A citywide search was conducted, but to no success. At the end of the week, twenty people had gone missing.

Then the mass murders began. The Vampires began killing in the open, sometimes even during the day. There was no way ensure every killed person wouldn't turn into a Vampire. The victim count rapidly rose to one hundred. Other creatures of the night began to emerge, throwing London into the ninth level of Hades.

But there is hope. We managed to kill a few, ironically, with guns. We examined the body. The knowledge we discovered has helped us gain an edge. We have new weapons and new tactics. By combining the latest of science and most effective of the ancient myths, we have a chance at survival.

But one cannot help but wonder if London has seen its last sunrise….

For anyone who wants to play, but wants to know the previous events or wants to jump back but needs to know what was missed. ^^

This is covering everything that has happened since the last recap to here (Will insert link soon). Please read previous recaps for full comprehension.

Ashley was brought to a cell in Buckingham Palace for questioning, while Chris and Maddy got permission to be in part of the interrogation. Ashley broke free of her bonds and killed the guards, escaping the cell and locking Chris and Maddy inside. Chris used a key previously given to him by the guards to escape. The pair began pursuit on the Preastran, but were too late to save the King from getting murdered by her. Chris and Daniels opened conflict on the Vampire, who recently succeeded in escaping the room. Pursuit from the two hunters is too be expected.

Leo and the others reached the tomb, to be met with a Vampiric mummy. After Marrissa's killing of the mummy, Leo was discovered to be copy some Hieroglyphics into a notebook and fled the area. He was killed by another Vampire whom was also looking for the same thing Leo was. The vampire stole the notebook and slipped out, while a few members in Leo's party engaged in open conflict. The Vampire exited the Pyramid successfully and began to build a fire outside for unknown reasons.

Recently Darren/ Kahranax traveled to Buckingham Palace with the idea of working with the local military. After some bitterness, he was accepted, and was put into an a small search and destroy unit. They staked out a building and was attacked by a small group of Vampires, and have been engaging in a small battle since.

The Wendigo and Albert went their separate ways, the Wendigo getting sighted by a human who shouted its position to everybody in the area. Albert had a run in with a Vehronicaan named Alexia Trevor [Albert Wesker], facing a heated discussion and some violence.

Johnathan Redstone [Leon S. Kennedy] met a Vampire kid named Allan [Carnival] who was being attacked by a fellow Vampire. Allan saved John's life, earning a limited extension of his trust. John took Allan vampire hunting , where they discovered a Crusnik named Alice [Leon]. They are currently debating on what the heck she is.

Johnathan Weathers [King Of The Vahki] recently hired a man named Mike Walker [NPC, Leon] to "secure his business interests" in Egypt and is looking for more.

Well, I don't have much to say at the moment, so I'll post an expert from a story I began but never finished, and see if its worth finishing or not....

    Reign of Darkness Prologue
    “Rise of Shadow.”
Lewa, Kopaka, and Pohatu Nuva, along with Toa Ignika and their Matoran companions sped toward the swamp of Karda Nui at high speed. Below the sounds of an intense battle could be heard. Behind them Makuta Mutran followed, moving slowly, wings gliding through the misty air almost majestically. At the moment Mutran was going intentionally going slow. Which is why he smiled under his mask when Lewa turned his head and shouted,

“I think we’re losing him!” to his comrades. Mutran folded his wings in, causing him to fall faster without anything out to control the plunge. A quick shift in gravity and he was speeding downward even faster. He slammed into Lewa and Tanma and dragged them into the freefall. They tried to get free, but with Mutran’s altered weight his was nearly impossible to shake off. Soon the three were far ahead of the other Toa. Mutran shut of his power of gravity angle them diagonally toward a nearby stalactite. Mutran placed his clawed feet on Lewa’s chest and pushed off, shifting the immense pull of gravity to Lewa and Tanma.

The force of the push launched Mutran up a few feet, and when he reached the height of the jump, he spread out his wings, keeping him aloft. Lewa, on the other hand was heading toward the stalactite rapidly at a sharp 20-degree angle. Lewa tried to stop them by activating his jets full force and sending a large gust of wind their way, but the gravitational pull was so strong, that even with the help of Tanma’s jet pack, they remained on course.

They slammed into the stalactite full force, causing an extreme amount of agony for Lewa, who took most of the blow, and tore a few rocks loose. They began falling at a 90-degree angle again, on a crash course with a outcropping of rock further down. Mutran turned around to see Kopaka and Solek attempting to save Lewa and Tanma, and Pohatu and Photok heading over to fight him. Mutran hovered there, unmoving as Pohatu and Photok sped toward him. He drained some shadow from the surrounding area, incase it would be needed later. The second Pohatu fired a ball of light from his Midak Skyblaster Mutran had teleported out.

He reappeared in front of Kopaka and Solek. Seeing them trying to save Lewa and Tanma with a rope of light and a chain of ice, he fired a quick burst of shadow. The darkness hit the light head on, consuming it whole. A fragment of his shattering power and the chain of ice was destroyed. But since Mutran had activated other powers, the artificial pull of gravity on Lewa and Tanma was lifted. Lewa activated his jet packs and went soaring upward toward Mutran and Kopaka.

Kopaka was the first to strike. He carefully aimed his Midak and fired a few shots of ice at Mutran. Mutran shifted the angle of wings, flying out of the way of the ice. He responded with a few bolts of lighting. Kopaka barreled rolled, much to Solek’s initial displeasure, narrowly dodging the streaks of lighting.
Solek created an expanding panel of light and launched it at Mutran. The Makuta flew up beyond the panel, bringing his fist down, destroying the wall of light and sending a narrow wave of shadow at Kopaka and Solek. Solek created another panel of light and blocked the shadow above their heads, causing the rest to come out in front and behind them. Kopaka retaliated with a rapid-fire burst of light from his Midak. Mutran soared sideways on wings, circling around Kopaka, firing large beams of shadow from his claws, and making it hard for Kopaka or Solek to get a good aim on him.

At this point Lewa had reached the scene of the fight and had activated a whirlwind, slamming it into Mutran, throwing him toward a stalactite. He hit it hard and fell onto a narrow ledge. He stood up to see Pohatu flying toward him. The Toa Nuva of Stone was about to trap Mutran in the rock when the Makuta teleported behind Pohatu, and magnetized the three Toa together and sent them foward toward the ledge where he was occupying a second ago.

Toa Ignika soared in on his Skyboard, swinging his sword at Mutran’s neck. He ducked the would be fatal blow and responded with a jab with his own blade. Toa Ignika pulled back and punched Mutran, sending him reeling. Mutran activated his power scream, forcing Toa Ignika back, but freeing the other Toa Nuva. They quickly activated their adaptive amour, and along with Toa Ignika, began soaring back toward the swamp. Mutran followed, continuing the chase.

Today the lake brought some heavy winds, make the cleating tests and races difficult as it forced fast and swift cleating, quick, reflexes, and constant leaning to prevent capsizing. Regardless it brought plenty of exciting and frantic moments, and was one of the most fun sailing experiences I've had yet. We placed first and third in two of the races but our rudder broke off and we hit another boat and we capsized. Got a bit wet, but we got the boat upright and back to shore quickly. Awesome day.
