  1.

Here's a fun fact: This is my first post in years.

Here's another fun fact: This place affected me in ways I'm still trying to understand years later.

    Man, this place was special.

:0 I remember you. Welcome back.

OMG but you're BZPower famous! How could this be

Can't believe you remember me though. Wish I could say the same, but then again, just a few nudges and bam! I'll remember again.

And just to stay on-topic (I don't know how vigilant the mods are anymore, they used to be very attentive):

Bionicle is 14 years old. Like... seriously

Okay, now for a real fact::

In the mid-90's (and possibly still to this day), Iceland had the highest number of people with personal computers.

Yet, they're so in touch with nature and are so down-to-earth. Maybe we could learn a thing or two.

  3. I'd much prefer it if we faced a new enemy in the upcoming games. The Didact was a good enemy, but I don't think he's interesting enough to play against for another two games. Maybe it's because I think a bad guy with a deadly superweapon is a little too cliched. While I don't want to totally ignore everything we faced in this game, I'd be much happier if we had to face the Precursors. I think that would be very interesting war.

  4. I think the boltshot gun was kinda confusing. What is it supposed to do? I keep imagining it works like a plasma gun, but it certainly doesn't.After trying it on Prometheans and the like, I figured it would do better on organic material (Covenant).Turns out I was wrong. It's basically a stupid gun that does practically no harm. Also (don't click on the spoiler tag unless you've already played a few levels of the game) :

Did anyone else feel overpowered by the Didact? Now that we've met him, what are our thoughts? And how fascinating isn't it to see that the Covenant have formed a union with the Didact? I mean, of course they would! They are obviously still strong believers in the Great Journey and the Forerunners, so it comes as no surprise that they'd worship him as a literal god. After all, the powers the Didact wields are pretty god-like.

  5. It is Cortana fighting off rampancy, or at least trying too, she had similar ramblings when aboard High Charity in Halo 3 before you rescue her. Her avatar turning red is a visible sign of rampancy, and her threats to "unplug" the chief are another part of her rampancy.
That part I understood. I think it's definitely an interesting change in her personalityI'm fascinated by the future and technology, but most of all I'm fascinated by the human psyche. For a futuristic piece of technology to develop human character traits... that just blows my mind. :PI like how Cortana's rampant voice is, seemingly, more innocent-sounding than her usually darker, take-charge voice. It's like an evil girl who's got far too much power. Here she's obviously battling to keep her self-control, to contain her rage. In the last video, she struggled with melancholy. I'm sure that if we whip out the list of the stages of rampancy we can trace the progress of her rampancy.
  6. Things are definitely getting interesting! I'm fortunate for the build-up we've had so far, but I must say, things weren't 100% Halo until ***** hit the fan. Also, does anyone know what the heck was going on with Chief and Cortana at the beginning? You know, when all that red light began and stuff? What was that?
