    There aren't any decent, good music stores other than J&R in my city and area that have at least some music that I like.... So I can't easily get the CDs I want. ;_;

Also today there were these two guys in the square holding up signs saying "Free hugs."

"...What is the difference between this banana and this mini slinky wrapped in cellophane?"

Chris Taylor is the big man in Gas Powered Games. He's a game designer, famous for Total Annihilation, Dungeon Siege, and Supreme Commander. His current work in progress is Kings and Castles, an epic fantasy RTS.

I cannot wait for K&C to come out, but while we wait Chris Taylor is posting awesome video blogs about the development of the game, one each week. The above quote is from the latest one he released on Friday.

In his first video blog he was on a farm. "Here I am chopping wood... Making video games is way harder than this!" and "Now I'm feeding a horse. Feeding a horse and video games... nothing to do with each other."

He is an awesome man, both funny and creative. <3

I wish I had Microsoft Word o this computer so I could write a nice short story. But, I'll be trading it in this weekend so installing would be pointless.

And this computer is sooo slow it completely froze once today ;__; (thanks a ton, AIM T_T)

School was okay. Nothing special. Except the blonde guy with glasses in Italian used kneaded erasers to sculpt a pig with demonic wings, tail, and horns. We named it Lopez. Oh how I love art majors at my school (I'm one of them lol). <3

    [obligatory new years entry]
    Happy New Year, kiddies!

Yes, that includes those of you who are still in 2011 as of this post. It's pretty cool talking to people from the past, you know.

So my brother says he saw this homeless guy digging through trash. So when the guy had something, he was like "What do we have here..." and then pulled out some sort of bottle.

His reaction to the bottle was, "Oh. Yeah."

A few nights ago, I had a dream that was, well, amazing to experience.

So down by the street corner there was an old man, a table, and three cups of water on that table. The man looked worn out, and had a long beard that he apparently hadn't trimmed in a while, but he didn't appear homeless. But, the interesting thing about him was his purpose for setting up the three cups: to passerby, he would constantly announce that all three of the cups of water were poisoned.

As I approached him, he suddenly suffered a heart attack, stroke, or some other thing of that sort. He died before the ambulance could arrive.

But I was touched by his three cups. I took them for myself, and set upon a journey around the entire world to tell people about the three poisoned cups. It was an amazing and inspiring journey for me. And I never did figure out if the cups were actually poisoned.

Or maybe I'm just crazy. xP

Onto the point of this entry: One of my friends said today that her test results showed she could have ADHD. Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder.
Thing is, I've never noticed her having any symptoms of ADHD. I wonder how...

On a lighter note, my science teacher said I got a perfect score on the Performance part of the State Science test.

So I'm back from a super fun weekend at the country house to describe what happened. I'll try not to make it too long, though.

The drive to the place was pretty boring, and after settling in, everyone (myself, friend, her mom, and her dad) fell asleep. But the house itself was very pretty, surrounded by trees, and a dock that went into the lake was only a few steps away from the patio.

For breakfast on Saturday, the family had leftover corn, so they took the kernels and made pancakes with corn. And they were delicious. After breakfast, my friend and I went down to the basement (which had the TV), and watched a DVD volume of Darker Than Black (five episodes). They were very good, and I"m going to continue watching it.
After reading our books some, we drove down to one of the towns in the region and enjoyed a tiny art show, a mineral shop, and ice cream. Following that, we went apple picking at this orchard. 1/2 bushel of apples were obtained, though when I went back home I took only a 1/2 peck with me.
We would have gone hiking, but instead went to this tiny beach on the lake and went swimming. Though I did have a flotation device, it was very fun and I learned one or two things. I'm not gonna save your life, though. =P
While we had dinner, we had made an apple crisp and put it in the oven. However, we didn't get to eat it yet - we had to a play performed by Shakespeare&Company, Richard III. And it was beyond excellent. The actors were wonderful, especially when showing emotion. There was also some interaction with the audience during the play. And flying saliva from the actors. I should know - I was in the front row.
Then we went home and ate the delicious apple crisp.

Sunday wasn't as actionful, but we went to a fair in another town after my friend and I watched The Swan Princess. This was one of those fairs with the Ferris Wheel and carnival games and a ton of friendfried food. Of the rides, I went on the Hand Glider one, which was super fun. Others rides seemed a bit intimidating because I get sick easily. We also ate a pulled pork sandwich and maple syrup cotton candy. The cotton candy didn't have any whack coloring to it, and it was absolutely amazing.
The fair had farm animals from nearby, including cows, sheep, chickens, rabbits and goats. In the petting zoo area, there was this small and adorable baby goat that everyone wanted to cuddle. But, of course, we could only pet and feed him. There was one animal that was a mix between a donkey and a zebra, and it was very cool. Also there were kittens <3

On the road home there were bats flying over the highway. Not a swarm, but a couple at a time could be seem.

Overall it was an amazing two-day trip, and I'm glad that I went. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to eat one of those apples we picked. =D

So I was walking in the park today, and a few things occurred.

First, on the pathway was a wasp-like insect (the name slips my mind) dragging a large cicada (larger then itself) underneath it. At the same time, it was either trying to fly with that huge cicada and failing, or it used its wings to move around on the ground or hover. So I got closer to investigate, and it slowly went towards me. I changed my position, and it followed. One more change, and it sped up and tried to attack me. ._. I ran away lol.

Next, later on in the walk, two huge bees buzzed at my ear and flew over my head. That was slightly scary.

Finally, as I walked on the streets home, this lady's dog started following me, and the lady introduced the dog and stuff. Finally when I crossed the street to go home the dog stopped following me.

so what is going on with me D:

Our Italian teacher told us to take three index cards and illustrate three common classroom phrases to help us study.

I did that I drew the most horrible cartoons to illustrate them (not stick figures, though). And I major in art at my high school.

    *shakes head at self*

My gym teacher is making us do dancing. Like, my school already has dance majors (who are exempt from PE), but now we have to go into it too. The gym class consists of vocal, instrumental, and art (meee) majors. So as a midterm or final, he says we have to put on a performance.

Today we just learned a couple of steps in the most basic form of dancing.

This still makes no sense, but I agree with my teacher that it is better than running from the first floor to the eighth floor of the school.

The only issue is I can't tell if he's seriously serious or not. He's very hard to read ._.

And yes Dudebot, this is the guy who gives relationship advice. =P

I was at the zoo (my auntie got stung by a wasp ;_, and then I went over to someone's house. There was a kitty there so I spent the majority of the time with said kitty. <3 =D

After that I left and it was pouring rain so now I have soaked hair. Meeeh.

    But kitty =D

So my table in art class, despite our seats having been chosen by the teacher, is amazing. While painting, we all discuss and give each other relationship/dating advice... at least for those to whom it applies (not meeeee). But we sometimes have hilarious discussions. Best class ever.

Totally unrelated - here's my [terriblish] White team's status:
    Male Lv. 37 Samurott (Kanda)
    Female Lv. 33 Archen (Akemi)
    Female Lv. 31 Munna (Yui)
    Female Lv. 31 Pansear (Yoko)
    Female Lv. 24 Sandile (Sarah)
    Female Lv. 23 Vanillite (Togame)
Yoko I plan to replace as soon as I gain access to a certain Pokemon. I also question whether to have my Munna or not. Another possible member currently is my female Lv. 22 Whirlipede, Kusanagi. Otherwise, my team will change with time only~
But I def gotta evolve other people >__>

Two movie entries in a row! Woohoo!

So since I didn't get to see it on Monday, I went and saw Avatar today, in 3D. I have to say, it was pretty amazing and not what I expected. Lots of pretty things too. <3

EDIT: Typos fixed. Grazie, Sisen. =P

yay got lots of luck from you guys

So overall it was okay. A couple of things I didn't get that I guessed on, and maybe a messup or two in the written parts... But I'm pretty confident I will pass.

I get my results next Friday. =O

It was back to school today. Not a single person had a good sleep last night. At all. Including me. D:

But yeah, so I had made a CD of Fullmetal Alchemist opening songs for my friend who very much loves FMA. As a late Christmas gift, she gave me a patch of Ed Elric. It's so cute (but I dunno where to put it). <3

After this week and next week, it's going to be Finals week. And the week after Finals week is the week of State testing - but that makes me happy because freshmen generally don't take these tests in January. That means... no school! =D

And blog theme. Kanda is pretty awesome, I think. B) (Yes I will improve the text in the pics when I have more time)

also my mom is cooking mushrooms right now. I find this fact necessary to mention. =O

    Today is a bad day.

Okay first thing was in Warlords Battlecry III. I was having fun with a new map pack my brother downloaded, and the maps were amazingly awesome. But, when I played with one of my heroes, he died. I played on the same map over again with precautions and he died again. >< Then I switched maps and it was cool but still. Meh. (got him up a level though :3)

Second was my new computer. Technically it's not new, just a used thing I got from a friend. But ti was pretty nice when I turned it on last night. Now today it wouldn't turn on at all. I messed with the cords and whatever, and nothing. Hopefully dad gets home soon...

Next is when I got on this comp, AIM kept freezing. I crtl+alt+del'd it, and started it over, but it froze once more. Of course then it got better and I was okay.

And then BZP was being bad while I tried to get to my blog to rant about all this. =P

    I suck at it!

So yeah, I was playing some games earlier today, and I could barely do anything in any of the games. Sure, I know how to dribble and can make a shot or two on occasion, but other than that I wasn't very good.

Luckily the ball wasn't even passed to me a lot. >__> Or at all sometimes...
