So a while back (even before my looooong BZP break) I made this banner combo for Robo to use for Reality and then his submission for the RPG contest. Seeing now as both of those things don't exist, and thus it would never be shown to the public otherwise, I present this banner in the hopes that it will make everyone love me

Starting a completely true, factual magazine here on BZP. Here's the big scoop of the day, written by yours truly, Elementoid, the clever, intelligent, and very handsome spade detective (I am much too intelligent and handsome, not to mention witty, stylish, and awesome to be considered an ace).

It had come to my clever attention that Teebert had been spending a lot of time with his animals. A lot of time. I conferred with my imaginary friends extremely real people that are both intelligent and clever - and also handsome - and agreed something was definitely going on. After months of stalking careful research, I finally confirmed my obviously true and completely educated suspicions when I confronted the man himself, in the act of slipping away to his nefarious deeds, an an alleyway that looked mysteriously like the front door to his house (which could have only been an illusion created by nefarious means in a lame attempt to escape detection). This a brief recap of what followed:

His parting words before swiftly escaping in a nearby escape car (which had escaped my very perceptive and hawk-like gaze, owing to it's very well fitting name chosen by yours truly) were obviously an acronym for
with a D tacked onto the end for some reason (probably to attempt - in vain of course - to throw off my razor sharp wits). I was about to pursue in my own vehicle (the amazingly awesome Elemental Inquirer-Brand Elemental Inquirer-Flyer Helicopter of awesome might and power - and also missile launchers) but he masked his escape route by sending in some surly thugs (that looked looked a lot like squirrels - obviously another illusion) to keep me busy. Even with my amazing strength and charm and everything else about me that is totally awesome and mighty, I was lucky to have escaped with my life, and it is from the hospital I'm typing out this story - with permission the nice people in the white coats that look suspiciously unlike the nurses and doctors found in normal medical facilities (but who am I to judge?) - so that I may send it to you, my loyal readers, so that you may learn THE TRUTH.

Finally back from my Lent-induced break from BZP.

And all I can say about the server is goodness. I guess I'll have to report Raging Insanity. You know, that comic? Please don't tell me you forgot like Vak did...

I think I'm going to make my own emoticons...
  4. craftyElemental
    Yeah, I'm leaving...

Just temporarily though, so don't worry. I'm been sparsely on lately because of more schoolwork, and in this time I've opened my eyes and seen how much my social life (or what's left of it now) has been breaking down since I've been slowly sucked into the internet.

Thus, I've decided to take a break for a while - I don't know how long - until I can feel better about how my RL is going. I'll probably pop up on AIM now and then, so you might get a chance to talk to me then.

Also, just for the technicality, all RPG characters can be used by Teebs and Robo, respectively, as they are needed.

Oh, and my parents were also bugging me about giving up something for lent, and BZP seemed like the thing I would be most tempted to return to, so here I am.
  5. craftyElemental
The first comic, inspired by when AA lent me his shank yesterday when he went to get a pepsi. The following events took place in the 10 seconds or so it was in my possession.

    HERE BE THE LINK

I'm going to make these using the bunch of minifigs I modeled after my friends here on BZP. In this one is me, AA, and Disky at the end. I'm making them silent, just because it's more fun to convey the emotions like this
  6. craftyElemental
"We have to retreat!" Disky shrieked over the sounds of battle. Her robes fluttered as a laser blast narrowly missed her shoulder and impacted the ground behind her.

"Yes, miss!" a member of the guard shouted in return. He signaled with his armored arm and many more of the guard lowered their weapons and bolted back away from the advancing line of enemy soldiers. Elementoys they were called, because of their simplistic, toy-like design. A rectangular body sat atop two treads. A large gun acted as an arm, and on top was a cylindrical head, glowing with it's green light even in the daytime. Simple, and a deadly force at the same time.

Disky began cryptically uttering a few words, but was interrupted as several Areal Elementoys screamed overhead, letting loose a barrage of laser blasts, one of which landed near Disky's foot and caught the hem of her cloak on fire. The sorceress merely willed the fire out - her pyrokinetic abilities had not failed her yet. She smirked and uttered the words again, this time in their entirety, and a bubble of blue energy expanded over her and then the rest of the guard members.

"Now scram!" She bellowed. She ripped off her outer cloak, and two green and black wings grew out of her back, stretching out. She flexed them, and with several powerful thrusts she was airborne, and quickly heading back towards the reinforcement lines. She watched the guard scurrying beneath her, trying to escape the advancing lines as they relentlessly came forward. Turning around, she noted how far their numbers stretched back...

Turning back around, she noted a bluish mist that had appeared beside her, and she slowed down somewhat.

"Teebert, how are things looking on the other end?"

A face formed in the mist as Disky spoke, "Not so good, we've lost quite a few of the guard to a robot - not like the Elementoys. It only identified itself as "Happy Material" before proceeding to smash a few people to bits with a giant mallet."

"I called a retreat, we're simply being overwhelmed in the East. I'm heading back to the Wall right now to alert the security force."

"Good. Vak will cover your force in the meantime-"

    "Yep."

"And I'm going to go check on Arch-Angel to see how he's holding up. We sent him out with the smallest platoon, but it would be just like him to end up with the biggest force of enemies."

"You've got a point, though at least Moj is with him" Disky said, sighing. The face in the mist smirked before fading away. The cloud suddenly changed direction to head off to where Arch-Angel presumably was. Disky resumed her former speed, the details down below blurring as she flew faster and faster.

Not fast enough, apparently, as a formation of Areal Elementoys creeped up from behind her, quickly dispersing and surrounding her. Areals were much like their grounded counterparts, though with bigger bodies and two jet engines jutting out of their sides. Their laser blasted was mounted on the front and could swivel to take advantage of their position in the skies.

Right now those blasters were trained on her... Disky's hands became surrounded by an aura of fire, "I don't have time for this," she growled. She suddenly stopped her rapid speed and stayed in place, the Elementoys doing so with her. The vast green plains beneath them redefined themselves, and the signs of battle became quite visible now.

"Fine, let's get this over with," Disky sneered as the Elementoys consecutively fired.

Disky ascended up out of the way and let fireballs rain down on the six flying robots. Four were hit and started going down, but the other two dodged and came up back at her. Disky waited until the last minute until feigning and dropping down, blowing a steady stream of fire out of her mouth directly above her. The Elementoys couldn't stop in time and flew directly into the inferno.

Their charred bodies down behind Disky - she had already taken off back towards the city. There wasn't any time to spare.

    ***
Within a few minutes, the ominous walls of the city loomed before Disky. With a short burst of energy, she reached one of the guard towers, flying directly in through one of the windows.

A guard working at a computer terminal jumped up and reflexively pulled out his gun, though holstered it when he saw the high-ranking official before him. "Commander Disky, sir! Guard number-"

"Skip the formalities," Disky snapped. One of the reasons she was so against being promoted was the extra smalltalk involved in introductions. "We've called off a retreat. There are too many enemy soldiers for us to handle."

"Yes, we are currently undergoing the procedure to throw up a defense barrier. The main gate's been closed, and the sniper force dispatched. We got a report from Robo a few minutes ago explaining the situation."

"Thank goodness he's okay," Disky chimed, leaning against the wall, "Anyways, I'll go alert the rest of the commanders."

    "Yes, Si-"

"Don't call me that," Disky snapped as she climbed back onto the windowsill, unfolding and stretching her wings, "'Sir', I don't like it."

    "Yes Si- er, Ma'am?"

Disky rolled her eyes. "Whatever," she mumbled, leaping out of the tower and taking flight. She banked sharply to the right after a minute or two, to hopefully intercept Arch-Angel's platoon. Robo would have likely already received a status report on the situation.

She held onto her green witch's hat with one hand as she sped through the skies to ensure it didn't fall off. Flying had always had a calming effect on her, even in the heat of the battle. Even now, the wind flowing beneath her wings and whipping her hair back, as well as the brilliant sun above her, only served to comfort her. She yawned slightly, a plume of smoke drifting out of her mouth.

She was caught completely by surprise when a dead weight smashed into her back. Pain shot up her spine as she started falling...

So I included a bunch of my friends in this. If you don't like it then I can remove you, but I already have said people minifig'd, just so you know.

The Black and blue figure stood in the middle of the chamber. The only light in the room came from the millions of arrayed blinking panels on the walls, and the steady beam coming from the figure's head something mounted on the wall.

"It is about to begin," the being spoke to itself, "Their time has come. They thought they could get away with leaving me for dead. They were wrong. I can't die."

The beam of light ceased to exist, and the room lit up completely. The room was cylindrical in nature, the walls being perfectly smooth and round, interrupted in their perfection only by rows upon rows of square lights. Upon closer inspection, one could see rows and rows of numbers moving vertically across the screens.

In place of four of the lights was a large black orb dome on the wall. It was lustrous, the unnatural lighting reflecting off its polished surface. In the center of the room there was another perfect circle on the floor, in the middle of which stood the figure. The Elementoid.

"Yes indeed," it continued speaking, despite the apparent lack of any other people, "They ignored me. They forsook me. They abandoned me." The figure continued on with synonyms for several minutes on end, not ceasing until he could think of no more. "Now they shall suffer for their actions. I'll make them all pay."

After a few moments, he spoke again, this time his voice much more synthesized in nature. "Preparations are complete. Begin operations."

The screens all over the room ceased their stream of numbers, as the numerals disappeared and the screens faded to a red color. Numbers now appeared with letters and began moving twice as fast, too fast to be observed with the unaided eye.

"Yes, indeed," The figure said. It would have smiled if it could, "My revenge has begun."

So my epic has begun. I Don't really know how well it'll turn out, so I'm posting the prologue here. Nothing too long, as I'm not positive how the story will go and I don't want to give too much away right now. I have a ton of characters ready to be used though.

And yes, I'm casting myself as the main villain, mostly since then I can godmod a lot more
  8. craftyElemental
[/sarcasm]Well, I guess I lied about the comic in my last blog entry. I still want to link to the site Teebs' was ripping the idea from, but that would go against BZP rules.

Also, I just found out my dad was laid off his job and we are now only shakily being supported financially. Needless to say, this came as a rather large shock, seeing as he's been working there since before we were born. Despite his attempts to be positive about it, things are looking rather bleak.

I have to clean my room because my grandparent's are coming to spend the night tomorrow and will be sleeping there. This means at least 3 hours of making the room spotless, just because I happen to be the one with the queen-sized bed.

I have a headache. I also think I may be on the way to a stress-induced mental breakdown. Some support would be appreciated.

Okay, raise your hand if you people think I should start posting some of the minifigs I made while including a small bit of back story to them.

Oh, and the ones I made of several BZPeople I know.

Lately I feel like LEGO has been letting me down somewhat...

Well, I was talking with Robo (despite his plans of BZP domination) and we got into the interesting subject of lego's.

elementoid@ymail.com (10:52:30 PM): we had all sorts of diverse system sets

elementoid@ymail.com (10:53:00 PM): and the system sets suffer
elementoid@ymail.com (10:53:56 PM): I mean I love Bionicle and all
elementoid@ymail.com (10:54:06 PM): but I think I liked it better when it was a bit simpler
elementoid@ymail.com (10:54:12 PM): and they were sold as technic sets

I'm serious when I say that I'm envious of everyone who got to actually enjoy some of the best system sets ever...

    Anyone agree, disagree?

So on our last day of school before Christmas break we had a snow day.

Awesome, right? Not really. We missed our giant day-long party that included movies and video games.

So today we got another snowday (which around here means the apocalypse is almost upon us), on our first day back to school. Kinda awesome, but now I'm really wishing the weather could be more disagreeable some other time, farther away from the biggest break of the year

Also, chex out my new signoff.

Ya, I was bored in school today so I was messing around with a post-it note and made an origami squid...

    Anyone else like origami?

That's the really low-quality one I made out of a post-it note and ripping the parts that needed to be cut. I'll make a better one when I get back from my small thanksgiving getaway Thursday night.
  13. craftyElemental
Cool, I have my own blog now. Too bad it'll only last a week ...

    I really want Premiership...
The trick will be secretly getting the money into the mail without my parents knowing...
  14. craftyElemental
    RPGs I'm part of

Warriors RPG - I'm staff there. If you like cats THEN COME TO THIS RPG!

Code Lyoko RPG - A good one, based on the hit show. Lotsa fun.

Dawn of the Titans - an RPG based on Ancient Greece. Pretty fun, but the plot could move just a liiittle faster...

Danny Phantom RPG - a pretty good RPG.

RPGs I'm going to be in

Naruto RPG - It was fun while it lasted, but it got closed because the topic starter left BZP. They're fortunately making a remake.

Fire Emblem RPG - Has been Requested by my friend Vak. I already have my character all planned out...

Teen Titans RPG - An RPG I'm making myself. Expect it soon!
  15. craftyElemental
My life is boring. Some would say I'm lucky. I live in a relatively wealthy family that loves me, in a big house with my own room, and many possessions.

Yet I have nothing exciting. My parents watch me like hawks. I'm not allowed to go out on my own. I go to school every day. I have a few friends - who occasionally come to my house, or vice versa (always under the supervision of our parents).

Except for a few pets dieing, there have been no major tragedies in my life - this came to attention when in my college-level class we were assigned to write about such an event. It came to me as I realized most of the other stories were about the writer's parent's divorce, or about how an aunt dies from cancer.

Some would just say that I'm a lucky one - someone who doesn't have to worry or deal with those major issues - but for me, life is just boring.
  16. craftyElemental
AUGH. I CANNOT BELIEVE I ALMOST LET THIS ENTIRE WEEK GO BY WITHOUT POSTING IN MY BLOG... And I don't have much to say, either. I'm starting high school soon (O_O) and I'm beginning to run out of sticky notes. My Dad is still unemployed.

In other news, I tried to talk to AA last night but he brushed me off with his "not now," response, yet again. Way to keep the status quo there.

Anyone have ideas on how I can get back into BZP? That extended break last spring really threw me out of things. And I still don't feel like RPing. Why is this. How much longer can I even post in here, anyways?
