    I always love when LEGO throws something random and almost unnoticeable into the magazine. If I was just skimming, I wouldn't have noticed those guys. I even went to the LEGOclub website to see more! =O

    Also, more for my reference than for yours, these were my questions in the AaSDT:
     
    1) Does anyone take pictures of the protoypes, and if so, why not show them after the sets are out?
    2) Why are so many of the pistons not round, but flattened on one side?
    3) How many people are on the set design team?
    4) Are there any plans to use the dark brown color found on Avak again on a BIONICLE set?
    5) Are you influenced by any movies or video games or anything?

    2) The next Bionicle.com video update has a screenshot of the island of Mata Nui still intact. MYSTERIOUS.

    My aunt/uncle/cousins, who I shall hereafter refer to as the Bests, since that is their last name, lucky people, have something incredibly awesome. Before I describe it to you, let me describe them, as I believe it will enhance your reading experience.
     
    The Bests own a wedding chapel, and they have whatever you have to have to marry people, and they marry people, in their wedding chapel. They live in it, but only part of it is their house, and part of it is their chapel. They have a big garage, and in this garage, they keep a big fire truck. It's red, it's shiny, it's old. It's in really good condition, and it's kind of an antique of sorts. However, it's a fire truck. It doesn't serve any real purpose, and I have no idea how they got it. They used to drive us kids around sometimes, when we were kids and we were over there.
     
    BUT ANYWAY
     
    A month or so ago, they got news that Outkast Kustoms was looking around for a truck to trick on their show Trick My Truck. (If you don't know, go find out.) The Bests sent in a form or whatever, I don't really know, but they signed up, basically, and whaddaya know, they got picked! So the guys told 'em, and they drove it up there, I don't remember where they had set up, and they handed them the keys. It was gone for a few weeks, and now it's done!
     
    The truck has been Tricked, as they say.
     
    So they held this thing today where people could come and take pictures of the truck, and it was really cool, and I was there, and the whole family was there.
     
    As part of the agreement with Outkast Kustoms, nobody can post any pictures on the Internet of this project until the episode airs. That's gonna be sometime in January, I believe. I'll update you guys when it gets closer, but until then, you can go to this spiffy news article about it, because apparently da rooles don't apply to da press. =P

    Populus made me an avatar, but it's not lime green enough for my tastes. So I asked for a more lime green version. I guess we'll see.

    He's very cool. You guys should make his life more frantic by going to tihs heer topick, which he wanted me to spread the word about, so when he explodes from too many requests, it's not my fault. =P

    And the funny thing is, I wasn't going to go. I'm too old to dress up. I was 'supervision' since my sister is 13 and the neighbor kid is like 9 and I'm 15. OMG PERSONAL INFORMATION
     
    So anyway, since I wasn't in costume, I didn't get as much candy, but I still got candy.
     
    And the kids are out with my mom now driving around getting candy and I'm on the computer 'cause I haven't blogged enough today and I'm tired of walkin' around 'cause I got no costume so why would I go? So I gotta go feed the dogs so bye.

    Exciting! I'm glad for clearer pics, but I can't help but wonder one thing: where do they come from?
     
    The popular belief, I guess, is that LEGO releases them to a select group of people and someone puts them online. But why does it happen over and over? It seems like they'd catch on. I see no reason for anyone but the set designers and marketing to see the sets before release, so why don't we see more leaked stuff, like progress reports and ad campaigns?
     
    The other option is that they release them on purpose. They want the internet crowd to get excited about them, because to new buyers they're just toys, but to fans they're developments in Bionicle style. Everybody wants to know where their favorite toy line is going. Maybe LEGO is doing this as a sort of hidden marketing campaign.
     
    Or maybe there's a spy out there who doesn't work in Sets, but steals images from the people who do. Maybe a hacker.
     
    I just don't see how leaked images could get out this many times and not get caught.
     
    Now for my thoughts on the sets!

    But the helmety weirdness of Berix is cool, and all the new old weapons are sweet.
     
    Metus is FAIL.
     
    Zesk is pure WIN.
     
    Skrall's weapon seems MOCy.
     
    Malum has a Krika arm..
     
    Hooray for LEGO CGI piece-warping!
     
    Umm..Tarix is FAIL.
     
    Strakk's body design is neat, but all those gimmicky new pieces...no. Also, weapon is FAIL.
     
    Are those solid-color Piraka feet I see on Vorox? He's all weird and stuff.
     
    Fero: Krika-head! Skirmix: Freakish and not good.
     
    I kinda like..some of them..

    I have to accompany my mom on her postal route today, because we sold the car with right-hand drive yesterday.
     
    The people got here at like 9:00, and they slept in a trailer thingy they brought with them in our driveway and left at like 7:00.
     
    So I won't be on BZP 'till, like, late.
     
    While I'm away, you can visit this awesome topic, vote in my first poll, laugh out loud, see something that OWNS the Mistika, or get to know me better! [/advertising]
     
    Or do a number of other things, like tell me how awesome I am, or DO WHAT YOU WANT 'CAUSE A PIRATE IS FREE...but whatever.

    Me and my sister washed the car, but then mom decided she needed to drive it to Parent Teacher Conferences at the school, which for some reason she didn't foresee, despite it being on the calender for two weeks. So my sis went with her and I ended up washing the tires again.
     
    It's cold outside. :\
     
    Also, on a particular video-hosting website I use, one of my videos was deleted because it had a song in it. I have the official CD! Gah. And they have a feature where you can replace your audio with music, but they don't have the song I had. It was a music video, too. I can't use a different song.
     
    Even better: it took them a year and a half to notice that the video existed.
     
    So anyway, that's my pessimism for today. :\
