Contest details here. This is the first nearly pure Bionicle I've made in a while. I don't have more angle pictures as of right now. Maybe later on tonight I'll take those.Edit: Main image resized. I ran out of pieces so there won't be other angles. More angles and poses will come when new pieces come in.I'll be posting a couple of new techniques I used on this after the holidays.
  3. Dude, can you post some instructions for this. It might actually get me to buy some Hero Factory sets.

Nope. Instructions are too difficult to make. And instructions for my style of building are ###### near impossible to make or follow.
  4. Very, very nice. Are those mata red wings? What might those be from? The legs are very solid, but I'm not too sure about those parts sticking off the shins. Other than a few other minor issues, great work! Also, is this extremely fragile, because it looks like it :P

I don't know where the red wings come from because I buy from Bricklink.  The parts on the shins were not easy to do on that scale.  I couldn't figure out a good solution so I went with one that didn't ruin the general aesthetic.  And while this looks fragile, it's fairly solid.  I know how to use many weak techniques to create a stable structure.
  5. May I ask, how did you do that stringy muscular structure on the lower legs? I've been looking at it for a while trying to figure out what the pieces are, but I can't figure it out. -FtC

It's mostly done with tubing, minifig hands, and a red rubber sword.
  6. I like it. The only problem I see and was already pointed out is the lackluster sides. If you decide to redo that part, perhaps consider a repeatable pattern along the bottom or top. It doesn't have to fill it as you can make a black base to fill it. The point would be to make it more interesting with a design. If not then maybe add another turret in that area or a distinctive object that'll take up space.
