Brex Owns!
By Mobius,
as said above, B-rex is awesome. he's all nice and stuff, and basically I dedicate this 168-hour blog to him.
and that being said...
TANGENT TIME!!!!!
Naturally, my first topic is very near to us all: pie. Pie is random, but so much so many people think of it as unrandom. So why am I tangenting about it for? Cause it’s pie, duh.
And because it’s pie, I think it deserves it’s own tangent. Spitty likes pie. And llamas. You know llamas look like camels? And they spit, like camels. And camels can be found in the Gobi desert, along with the allegorhai horhai, also known as the Mongolian death worm! You know, the Mongols are my second favorite AOE civilization. My favorite being the Byzantines. Who rock. You know they do. Especially cataphracts. Or better yet, elite cataphracts. They own. And in the TC expansion, they have trample damage. TRAMPLE DAMAGE! You know, horses do trample people. Therefore, I feel sorry for the Aztecs, who were left decimated by Cortez’s horses, while they had only llamas. You know, spitty likes llamas. And pie. Now that we’re back to pie, I think we’ve wrapped up.

Debate 202
By Mobius,
welcome again to debate class. today we are going to learn the meaning of the word debate.
the "man" wants you to think debates are spirited discussions, except that they are turned into contests. They want you to think debators are kind, friendly, and debate only for fun.
.. none of the following is true.
the word debate is just a highly romanticized way of saying argument. the debators commonly have venting spleens, and coldly attack their oponents with the hard truth, without ever looking back. it's a high and lonely destiny, but one that ultimately pays off, because people will always think you are right.
well class, there you go. no go off and "debate" with the "man".

Lost souls still wandering
Meant to die
But she's stuck not crossing over
The other side
Is where he waits
His spirit reaching out
Meant to save
But she's too scared to take his hand
Living in a world without you
(Drowning in the past)
Is living in no world at all
So now I call on you...
Remember me? I gave you life
You would not take it
Your suffering was all in vain
It's almost over now
Don't turn your back on paradise
Feeling scared, she's prepared
To give up everything
She can't stand to feel
Like half of her is fading
He will choose the only way
To rid her of her pain
Take her soul now
The decision has been made
Living in a world without love
(A burden to my soul)
Is living in a worthless world
So I will call on you...
Remember me? I gave you life
You would not take it
Your suffering was all in vain
It's almost over
Remember me? You were so young
How could I tell you?
Remember me? I am the one
Who saved your life that night
I was the one who would not abandon you
Even in death I was the one who would not leave you
I used my freedom to protect you
And all the while direct you
Do you remember me this time?
Even in death I gave you life
I gave you life!
I wanted to
Deserve a place
A place beside you
This time when I reached out my hand
It reached all the way to heaven
Remember me? I gave you life
You would not take it
Your suffering was all in vain
It's almost over now
Goodbye
It's almost over now
Goodbye
It's time
I release you from this life
Don't turn your back on paradise

Many people would say that the Bohrok Era was a relatively down time in Bionicle history, what with the advent of direct cloning and all. Really, though, it was an excellent story arc which combined excellent set design with masterful storytelling.
First, let's talk about the set design. Most people would argue that this year should little creativity, what with the blatant cloning in the canister sets. However, I don't think you could say that the Bohrok design was bad. The design was stocky, compact, and with an easily workable gimmick feature. The cloning, personally, was not that much of a problem in this arc. The only time it became a problem was in the next arc, the Kal. Cloning within a generation of sets means that a design is well-built, cloning across generations shows a lack of creativity. Also, we forget the Boxor, the Exo-Toa, and the Bahrag, all of which so great creativity and use of technic beams and smaller pieces.
Now, I'll move on to the best part of the Bohrok Era, the storytelling. And one part of the storytelling in particular: the webisodes.
These were amazing. The way the story unfolded around Jaller, Takua, and co. was so well-written. The creation of the Boxor, the subsequent use of them against bohrok in Le-Koro, so many things were told so well. The Wall-E esque dialogue-less conversations worked very well, and the Bohrok seemed like an impossible threat for the matoran.

Stop gloating about your annual income. You're two-dimensional, therefore your annual income is two dimensional, which means that your annual income is the square root of a high annual income in four dimensions.
