  1. IC: Korato

Suddenly, it hit Korato why this light was so interesting. He saw it all the way from Kini-Nui? Now I know why it's such an anomaly.

"Thanks for the information." he said, then walked back down the road towards his house.

While walking, he pushed thoughts of the strange light to the back of his mind. As he stepped into his house, he was welcomed by the familiar smell of... nothing. Inside Korato's house was a chest with a fake bottom to store items, a bed, and a small chair, leaving his home mostly bare. Walking over and opening the chest, he looked inside to see it was empty excluding a small, blue stone and a map of the island. Putting both of them in his satchel, he removed the fake bottom and pulled out a small pouch of money. I need a vacation to get my mind off such petty things as a funny bright light. Ga-Koro would be a nice place to stay to relax.

Replacing the fake bottom and closing the chest, Korato took one last survey of the well-kept dwelling then headed out the door.

    OOC: Korato to Ga-Wahi

  2. IC: Korato

"Well, if it was as bright as you claim, there is no doubt about it." Korato agrees.

Huh, it was that bright? I hope no one was injured. As Korato pondered this, suddenly he got an urge to see what could have caused it. Well, I don't have anything else to do anyways...

"So, where did the big flash come from in the first place?"

  3. OOC: thanks!

    IC: Korato

Oh, look. Another clumsy Toa. By the time Korato turned around, Argentum was already apologizing.

"My bad. I wasn't paying attention.....Did you see the light?"

"Don't worry about it. Not the first time someone has stepped on me because I'm smaller."

It's not that Korato doesn't like this Toa, minus the fact he bumped into him, it's just that he doesn't trust Toa due to him being inferior. He shuffles his feet when he realizes this Toa has A LOT of weapons.

"I'm not sure what light you're talking about, unless it caused a gust that could misguide a javelin."

Now that he thought about it, Korato thinks he might have seen a slight flash earlier, mistaking it for the sun peeking through some clouds.

  4. IC: Korato

    Okay, one more...

With a heave from his arm, Korato sends one of his javelins flying towards a small, fur-covered rahi. Mid-throw, a gust blows across the drifts and alters the path of the wooden object, causing it to stab into the snow directly next to the rahi. With a startled screech, it dives into its burrow. Sighing, Korato walks over and retrieves his tool, then looks at the burrow.

"Heh, you got lucky little fellow. Next time, Mata-Nui won't send in a breeze to save you."

Slinging a sack over his shoulder, Korato heads back to Ko-Koro

Once at the village, Korato makes his way to the market, dropping of his daily catch, the way he has for years. After collecting his share of money, Korato starts walking to his house down the street.

    OOC: open for interaction

  5. Name: Korato

    Species: Matoran

    Gender: Male

    Alignment: Nuetral

    Element: Ice

    Mask: Non-powered Faxon

Appearance: Resembling a Metru-Nui matoran build, Korato is of average height, relatively slender, and left handed. His Faxon, chest, legs, and arms are white as snow, with his shoulders, hands, and feet being light blue. He has blue eyes, darker then the deepest glacier.

Tools: Five wooden javelins. Though easy to carry, they are not very well made and are easy to break. He also carries a stone knife.

Personality: Cold. If asked a question, Korato would answer quickly, but leave even faster. In truth, he enjoys working with other people, but pretends to be annoyed when confronted.

History: Ever since he can remember, Korato was a hunter. He always wakes up early, tries to catch some rahi, and returns to his home that doubles as a butchery to sell what he catches. Every day is the same, and he likes it like that.

Weakness: Fire and heat. Also, even though he's been using his javelins for years, he does not know how to fight a sentient being, and hopes he never has to.
