Tip: There was a slightly popular story game on BZP a long while ago, in which each poster was to only give three letters. And only the topic starter could end the story. And I don't think you could end the sentence with after the third word.

 

But I'll play by your rules for now. If you feel like changing, just say so....

 

He touched his side, checking to make sure that his sword was firmly in it's hilt, then took a step forward.

Jim reached a large chasm, observed his surroundings, and spotted a pack of Malicious Man-Lizards approaching.

The Malicious Man-Lizards were very skillful in the Amzing Art of Annoying Allliterations, and Jim hated allliterations!

He stepped towards them, drawing his sword and uttering curses under his breath.

 

That's an idea CF, but let's do this for now, then we have something to start off of.

He then drew his sword, and kicked the leader of the lizards in the face.

The creature cringed back and hissed, flicking its forked tongue.

Then it said " Shining Silver Skies"; Jim was horrified.

Jim took a few paces in the opposite direction, but the vicious Man-Lizards were closing in on all sides, their leader rubbing his face angrily.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhh", Jim screamed as the Lizards made more alliterations!

Suddenly, his life long friend Jill approached weilding a battle axe twice her size.

Jill gave a yell and swung her axe, taking a lizard by surprise and cutting off it's tail.

 

 

(This system seems to work. My bad.)

The lizard charged and bit Jill on the leg before it was felled by another blow from her axe.
