It's actually cold this morning. Not just cool or pleasant, but real, honest-to-god cold.

This may not seem like that big a deal, but understand that the weather this summer has been almost unbearably hot where I live. I haven't been keeping track of exact numbers, but I wouldn't be surprised if most of the days were upper 90s or lower 100s because that's what it felt like.

Today, though (or at least this morning), it's really cold. And it feels fantastic.

That means fall really is going to come this year after all. I thought fall was a myth, but if fall is coming, then is the legendary winter far behind?
