So, this happened last Thursday to me because my alarm was being a lamebuttface. First time in my almost two years of high school that I'm late. So I get a Saturday School. I don't actually mind this, nor do most people. The four hours of silent work are actually pretty productive. I guess I just think it's sort of an inconvenient and disproportionate punishment? I can understand detentions after school or such, but the whole enchilada on a first offense strikes me as sort of ridiculous. Again, I don't really care all that much, but hey, it's still a bore having to get up early on a Saturday. And standing out in the rain waiting for my ride wasn't all fun and games either.
And that is the story of how public education robbed me of a few hours of sleep and productive television watching.
