I'm good with that idea. And it allows me to create the character a little differently from his virtue at first. Ah, I am so hoping to get patience. I've already got an awesome idea forming in my mind...

So am I. Whichever virtue I get, I'll probably have him/her start off differently from the virtue. Question is: who wants to be the recruiter?

Well, you're in charge of this group, don't you decide who gets what Virtue? I would expect that you would choose...

 

As for being the recruiter, I think I might have a way Patience could do it...

I wouldn't exactly call myself fully in charge (technically I am); I think of this as more of a collective effort. The only way I could really decide who gets which position would be presenting me with a profile you have in mind and even then, I'd like feedback and opinions from others.

 

As for the recruiter: I really don't care who gets around to it. We've got most of the plot covered up which is: one person goes around recruiting others for a Toa team of seven like the Daedra and as our adventures develop, so do our characters virtue-wise. Although, whoever's character is recruiting will need a reason to be recruiting.

 

On a side note, shall we start posting profiles?

Name: Durim (Patience)

 

Species: Toa

 

Gender: Male

 

Alignment: The (Insert team name here)

 

Occupation: Loan shark.

 

Mask: Mask of Growth

 

Powers: Elemental Water

 

Weapons: Brass knuckles, hooked into his hand armor. Spetum, a sort of Pickaxe Spear.

 

Personality: A tricky fellow with a friendly smile when he wants to have one. He originally has little patience for others, and will easily enforce his deadlines for payment... or someone will end up hurt. But, over time, he's grown a little more lenient, that way he gets more payment.

 

Appearance: His armor is a dull copper-gold color, with a large golden gear-type designs coming off of the back of each shoulder at an angle. His chest plate has golden gears built into it under a layer of yellow glass. The gears do nothing, and are just for show.

 

Biography: To be written.

 

Weakness: He;s a rather slippery fellow, but can be caught in a trap of his own words. He isn't a great fighter when it comes to long range, even with his elemental power.

Idea: Recruiter recruiting for a circus XD.

 

Jokes aside, how bout this: The Recruiter is not a virtue, but rather was a follower of the Daedra. After attempting to gain more power he got kicked out. This lead to him wanting revenge and he still wanted that false hero status back. So what he does is recruit other heroes and act like a coach to them. All the while just using them to gain more false hero fame and glory.

Only problem with that is for that to happen, the Daedra would already need to be a team, and they aren't yet. On top of the fact that you would need Cool-Aid's permission to do that, most likely, otherwise it would contradict what's already planned for the Sins.

 

Not to mention, if the last iteration of the Daedra are any indication, you don't just up and leave or get kicked out of the Daedra -- a resignation from the group or a doublecrossing of Pride is a resignation from life.

 

 

Anyway, Raehn's profile has been posted for a while now, so I'm going to go ahead and list her as a possible candidate for the team until I know for sure that there aren't other people who want to join. =)

Could I take Humility? Non one else has asked for it.

It seems both Onarax and BenLuke-116 want Humility...

I really don't feel like being chastity and with kindness and charity out of the way, I believe I'll take Temperance. Not sure how that'll work out but if I deviate from its path, don't not say anything about it

 

So, looks like we need another runner up for chastity.

We could stick Hubert with Chastity.

That's how the old team worked. I think I was the sucker who was stuck with two characters...

@BenLuke I liked it, but the character that's going to become Humility was already a Toa.

 

@Hubert I think we decided that it doesn't have to be, it's just that TX and Parugi would prefer it wasn't. I on the other hand would like to have a non-Toa, but that's probably because I hate any sort of racial alignments.

 

@Parugi Well who's the recruiter for the Daedra? Cause the recruiter who get's kicked out and recruits this team instead could have been that character's former partner.

My idea for building the team was to have them all owe money to my character, who comes up with an interesting business idea for them to pay of their debts... Act as heroes so he can make back the money they owe from merchandise sales... and they all end up actually growing into the role of heroes.

Not really, my Patience wouldn't above fooling an amnesiac into thinking they owed him money.
