I would agree, but considering Twinkies weren't exactly benefitting the human race, I'm glad to see them going.

Well considering I just got done watching a news story about it, there was something about a strike that the company blames as the primary cause for closing down. Earlier today I made a run to the grocery store to get some before they were all taken.

 

What I do hear as some possible good news is that Hostess is selling off some of it's "parts" meaning that their individual products are up for sale, if someone else buys them then they won't be disappearing from store shelves.

 

Wow, I am such an American, writing a ###### essay on food when there are probably topics I would find higher on the priorities list .

As someone who is a dessert snob and doesn't give a copper huna about the news, I must say it's quite entertaining. Sorry for the loss of jobs and all, but outside of that I don't care enough to bat an eye. The quality of Hostess products is pretty terrible to begin with. =/
