I hate waiting. I really do.

After digging out all the dirt from underneath the island, I set about to...do nothing but wait. I couldn't farm more cobble, since the lava was being used. Which sucked. So, I decided to look around. I saw a weird block of wood really far down, just...sitting there. I decided to check it out while waiting.

I got down to it, and went to jump onto it. I completely missed and fell into the void. Thankfully, I had actually put most everything of importance away (Lost 8 torches, but I can replenish those. Lost a bunch of cobble and my only pick, too). After multiple tries of respawning, I eventually landed on the island.

This is the first death I did not have to restart from. And I am glad I didn't.

I took the lava from the lighter (Since that wasn't working), and mined up some cobble after making a wooden pick with the wood I had stored away. I mined until it broke, and made 2 stone picks, one to keep in the chest at all times. I actually had to completely rebuild the generator, since the old one was embedded in the ground (which was now only 1-block thick). The new one...completely made of dirt, since I lost all my cobble. After mining up as much cobble as possible, I dismantled the generator, and made a new portal lighter thing, placing the lava in front of the portal rather than behind.

Three minutes later, portal is lit. I wanted to punch something because it took so little time. No matter.

Next up, I...of course, went through. I was stupid and didn't bring any cobble though. My portal was directly above where you were supposed to build the portal, and I found that funny. I jumped down, looted the chest, and...realized I was stuck. I broke some of the glowstone below me in order to build up, and so I did. I had sugarcane, another ice block, and both needed mushrooms. Probably something else that I'm just forgetting but is safe.

Made it back to the overworld. Put everything back in the chest, and made my infinite water source.

I then proceeded to make a new cobble generator, and put it in a...kind of aesthetically pleasing location. I had two infinite water sources around, one on either side of the portal, and a cobble generator nearby. With the infinite water sources, I can actually begin construction of the mob grinder and the farm, too.

I am making progress and it's amazing.
