Why as a world do we divide our selves?

Obviously people have opinions, but why is the world so divided? We fight over the stupidest things like money and beliefs. I'm not saying you shouldn't fight for your beliefs, but to take a life for it? Isn't that going a bit to far? You have people in the middle east killing each other every day, and for what? And its not just over there, its here in my country too. Why do people separate some one for the colour of their skin or what gender they're attracted too. Why would a city be seen as dirty, just becuase there are more of a "certain race" there?

It confuses me BZP.

You're asking a question, that well, will never be answered.

Why not? There will never be a solid answer, but there will be answers

If we removed all that, all that everyone is fighting and murdering each other over, we will still fight and murder each other for some other reason.

Humans are just prone to this.

Basic answer is that some people are stupid.

Infact, most people are stupid.

And stupid people in large numbers cause that sort of thing.

Why? I'm not like it. I doubt you're like it. So why do many others seem to be like it? There's no excuse

Also beyond the stupidity argument, which is the strongest, there's also the fact that most people are egotistical and self-righteous. Therefore if anyone disagrees with their opinion, they must be made to pay.

That's a pretty shallow argument. Just because two people, 50 people, a million, 6 billion people are not like that doesn't mean that everyone is like that.

No I mean, why do they have the excuse to be like it?

Do you have an excuse for being the way you are? Do I? Does anybody here have an excuse?

No. They don't.

It's just how people are.

Beware the spooks of unity through nationalism and even humanism, for they are alienating concepts which serve to belittle the Ego.

(Yup, Marluxia has it backwards: Proper--stirnerist--egoism directly opposes these divisions.)
