As if anybody doubted that he would. Yanks are also close to resigning Mariano Rivera.

 

The only question now for NYY is who gets Cliff Lee.

I want Texas to keep Lee. As awful as his wife got treated in New York, I'm hesitant to think he'd want to go there unless the paycheck is really big.

 

But really, haggling over millions of dollars when your great-grandkids are already set for life is patently ridiculous. It's just greed.
