Counterstrike is a lot of fun, but only if you're a certain sort of person.

It's great if you want to run around with rediculous weapons, and it's actually fairly easy to hack, and people tend to overreact to things in absolutely hilarious ways. There ain't nothin' quite like messing with people's minds in that game, particularly with voice chat. Seeing as I'm a chick? lulz ensue regularly.

 

However, I don't really play it as a particularly serious FPS. When I want to play a serious FPS I go for Half Life, and if I want to play it with other people for some reason, I go for Unreal Tournament. I used to play Planetside, but then I got sick of playing subscription fees for something that I couldn't mess around with in good concience. But taking the MMO thing to FPS games is a fairly brilliant idea. I think it works a lot better with that then they do with RPGs.

 

In other news, I absolutely adore your new avatar. Bastila = Awesome. Seriously.

Me sees your point. If I get CSS though, I think I'll be the type of person who plays it a couple of times a week max for a while. ^^;

 

Mmm, Half Life is good. Never got a chance to play the second one, since the demo alone needs a lot of hard drive space. The Star Trek Elite Force games are pretty cool as well.
