The Apathy Pit

(That's my secret Captain)

(Okay, I'll admit something. I have an anger problem. Obviously it doesn't come across online because I have better control, but in person it seriously troubles me. So why is it that on the one day that I try to make myself calm and placid that suddenly everything goes out of its way to frustrate the living Karzahni out of me? I mean, I deliberately put the most calming music I have on repeat, go out of my way to be uncharacteristically nice to people and then all of a sudden today's the day when I get my stuff hidden, surprise essays, faulty technology, finding out I'm getting mocked and then that painfully old cliché walking past a puddle just as some careless driver decides he wants to teach his car to swim. I'll admit I managed to keep calmer than I have been which I guess is something to be pleased with but then that means I'm just bottling it up. So I'm probably going to explode at some poor, undeserving sod. Pre-emptive sorry to whoever that's gonna be.)

(Anyway, sorry about that. It's a selfish rant but one that helps me get things off my chest. As Tim Minchin gleefully declared, some people have it worse than I. On the plus side, my parents have finally switched to a new Virgin package which means that I now have fast, unlimited broadband. So at least there's that.)
