If I do I'm painting my Raider light yellow with pink accents, my Alpha Trooper light blue with rainbow accents, and a new Maverick pink with darker pink accents (the one I currently have is a Whiteout and I don't want to paint it). I will name them Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie. I'd leave the internals and ammo clips unpainted, though. e: And only now do I realize how April fools-ish this sounds. I actually mean it. HvZ needs more ponies.
After working on this all year, I've reached the primer application stage, which is often the point where it starts to look like the finished product. This is exciting.
No.
Stop saying this.
It is incorrect.

Or close enough. Made a haphazard Kylo Ren costume so I'm wearing that today. Also I've been busy playing Humans vs. Zombies all week. So that's why I have danger tape tied around my arms.
Prototype #1 of a life-sized articulated Gali hook. Rough vector design in Inkscape and laser cut on 5 layers of 1/8 inch plywood. The two pivot points aren't actually connected yet, the idea is to have pvc pipe segments through them so it'll act as a hinge while preserving the hollow nature of the original pin connections.
At some point I need to figure out a good 2d design program that'll let me do actual measurements and put some m e c h a n i s m s into it.
(a tempest through the years) This movie was pretty much everything I wanted it to be. A bit more screen time for Phasma would not have been amiss, but other than that I have no complaints.
