Zatch Bell

I'm currently rewatching/(watching for the first time since I only remember them beating Zophis) the series, subbed, and gah, I get so attached to Zatch and Kiyo's ally mamodo teams.   Yopopo, Danny, and Nya are the ones I got really attached to and absolutely didn't tear up when their books got burned. Not at all. Especially Danny.       Also on another note, Naruto is set to end this week. It's been a good run.

Why must you do this, school?

I said last year (as in, November/December) that I knew what classes I'm taking senior year. Well, that's proven to be wrong.   There's a chance that AP Music Theory will be brought back next year, and I'm taking it. However, that means one less class, and unfortunately, I'm giving up art. Which means that I can't take the art class I really want to take senior year, because of prerequisites.   I can't even drop lunch to take the art class, because of AP Chem, which is a period and a half. I'd d

Well, Look at That

We're back on. ^-^   I kinda want to MOC again. Maybe in a while.     In Pokemon-related news, Sylveon has been official released. Probably won't be using it in X/Y, but nice to see we have more Eeveelutions. It almost seems like we're getting a lot of names with uncommon letters, but that's really only with Xerneas, Yveltal, and Sylveon.     Also, I plan on playing through each generation and remake. Pokemon Blue, Gold, Sapphire, LeafGreen, Pearl, HeartGold, Black, and White 2. Hopefully by the

Updates: Animal Crossing, Minecraft

Been a while. Got back into the country about a week ago, still having major jet lag, but it's improving.   So, like everyone else, I caved and bought Animal Crossing: New Leaf. First Animal Crossing game for me, got it about 5 days ago. Tortimer just invited me to his island, I don't know if I'm going slowly or fast. =P My villagers think I'm stalking them, since I just talked to them all day before I could get a fishing rod. =P I got Cherries as my native fruit, but also have Apples and Permis

Unfortunate Event(s)

So there's this kid at my school who tweeted, "I think Mrs.------ is single handedly the worst teacher". Probably thought it was funny until he came into class, and the tweet was projected to the front of the room, with the teacher posing in front of it.   Best part? She got a video of his reaction.     Sometimes, I really can't stand the English department in my school, but I've gotta say, most of the English teachers are the craziest, fun filled people I've ever met that know how to play up th

This Has Pleased Me

Someone created a tool to edit the maps in Gen 4. This is amazing and saddening news.     Because now, I [will] have a stable platform to base RotR2 on, but it's so well developed, I almost want to switch RotR onto it.   So there. As for updates on the game, it's almost ready to be released as a demo. Going to shoot for next week, I'll release the bare bones of it.

This Bar

This notification bar. I like it.   Although it does go behind the blog windows, it's useful. It probably goes behind reply and topic windows as well..   No matter. I can go to my notifications without opening a bunch of tabs now. ^-^

Things

Because I can't think of a better title. Plus I think this entry will cover a range of things.   Firstly, if you haven't already heard it, Si Tu Vois Ma Mère is a great song. It's a jazz song mostly featuring a sax duet. I personally love it because I play alto sax (though I think it's a soprano in the song), so it might not be everyone's cup of tea.   Secondly, first day of Pep Band was today. There were more saxes than I anticipated and one of them had a blue and gold saxophone. Not to say tha

That was a scare.

I didn't realize that the blog tab moved over, so when I went to click on blog, I clicked into the tracker instead.   Only saw the two categories, assumed they were blogs, freaked out that somehow all of the blogs were deleted, and then saw Six's avatar on the side and the word blog, so I assumed it was an apology for the server having a hiccup.   But then I found the actual tab.     It was like a bad dream, man.

Testing

AP Testing week is in a few hours. Got my first one ever tomorrow, AP Chem, and three more over the next two weeks. ._. Chem and Language/Composition this week, and Music Theory and US History the next.   I think the worst part about it is that I feel that school should be ending relatively soon since nearly all of my classes are having the "final" for the class in the next two weeks, but there's still more than a month to go.   ahh stress

Stuffs

This Saturday is Rise of the Rocket's birthday! I think it's the third, but honestly, feels like the RPG opened just a year ago. I was planning on getting a demo of the game out, but with school deciding to carpet bomb us with stuff the last quarter, it doesn't look like that'll happen. :c   Marching band starts in 16 days. I'm excited for that.   My school is holding an Olympic-style tournament where most of the clubs go head to head in two types of events, athletic and academic . The winning c

Somewhat Disappointing

Maybe I should have a SciO category, because guess what, this entry is about SciO!   Our team had our first invite of the year today. It didn't not start off well. We only won in one event. =( I think that's going to really kill some spirit, but it might be motivational.     Though, on the plus side, we got to see our favorite Physics teacher again. =) He transferred schools at the end of last year and he's working for the invite school now. It was great. He showed us a bunch of stuff, including

Some Pokemon Related Assistance?

No, not that kind of assistance.     Everyone's familiar with Rise of the Rockets, right?   No? It's one of the most, if not the most, successful Pokemon RPGs we've had, but that's not saying a lot.   A few months ago, I proposed to Parugi an idea. I was going to turn this RPG into a game. A Pokemon game. Originally, there were going to be two. RotR: Liberty, and RotR: Rocket. However, due to the amount of sheer content in the RPG itself, I decided to split the games into four.   Two games focus

SciO: Regional Results

This past Saturday was our regional. Nearly everyone on the team, Varsity and JV, placed high in their events.   However, history has a sad sense of humor. Last year, our team lost state by four points.   This year, it was seven we lost by. We would have made it, too, but our Thermo box got 10 points deducted for some reason that I don't fully understand.     Oh well! Better start studying for next year. =) The list for next year's events is already out, and it usually doesn't change that much.

SciO State

State's tomorrow and I'm extremely underprepared due to various other school work. First time my school's gone to state in four years, and it's the first time we're in the AA division, so if we're in the top two, we go to Nationals. I don't mean to sound pessimistic, but I don' think we'll be going to Nationals. =P But going to State is great. :>   also ARG FOUR+ HOUR LONG SCHOOL BUS RIDE

SciO Regionals: Results

WE'RE GOING TO STATE!   After a three year period of missing state by 1-2 points, we're finally going, placing 4th in our division. =D   My results were: 2nd place in Experimental Design 3rd place in Geologic Mapping 3rd place in Entomology 5th place in Write it Do it I was the most decorated member on the team. :> I've got 16 medals this season so far. Most on the team for this year as well. =D   but WOOOOOOOOO

SciO Regionals

Regionals are tomorrow (aka a few hours), and I'm cramming. =P   Throwing basically everything I can onto our Entomology cheat sheet and then going to learn about steronets and topographic maps and geologic structures.   We have a good chance at going to State this year, having just barely missed it the past two years. Hopefully we go this year. =D

SciO Comp. #4

My team did really well! =D   As did I! Placed in all my events. First place in Experimental Design First place in Write It Do It Second place in Geologic Mapping Third place in Entomology The WiDi was a great surprise too, having never placed in the past two years that I've been doing it. =D   Got another competition next week, hopefully we do just as well. Half the team'll be gone, though. =P

SciO

Science Olympiad. We had a meeting to work on stuff for four hours, and boy did it pay off. Out first competition is next week and I'm more nervous than losing a shiny Cobalion. One of my events is only half done and we have.. seven and a half hours to finish it.     This isn't some measly task, it involves testing. Lots and lots of testing and preparations. Actually, we only have six hours to finish, because one day is a Pep Band day.     D:<     If any of you guys have had experience with S

SciO

SciO season's in the air. That's Science Olympiad, and yes, I'm in it. =P   I've got another invitational tomorrow, third one of the year. This year, my events are Entomology, Geologic Mapping, Experimental Design, and Write It Do It. Entomology is the study of bugs. In the event, a partner and I identify and answer questions about an insect (preserved or in a photograph) within 2-3 minutes, and we rotate around stations. It's been pretty easy so far, placed 1st and 2nd the past two invites. G

School.

School has been really tearing me down lately. Plus, all the teachers have decided to have tests and quizzes on the same day. Not that I study, though. It's the homework and the classwork that is really really just... Adding so much dead weight into my head. I think all the teachers need another break.   Anyway, in news of my next two years of High School, I showed my planned schedule to my counselor and asked if it was a good idea for me to fill with AP classes. She said it was fine, but I'm st

Scary

There's a gun threat at my school.     Scared senseless. It's said to happen on Friday. The staff and board know about it. In fact, they announced that there was no evidence of it whatsoever over the intercom.   But I'm scared.   EDIT:   I have decided to stay home.   Even though it's likely that the treat is empty, I'd rather not take a chance. Rumor says two different things, but both are potentially dangerous. One, it has to do with a gang of a kid who got arrested recently for fighting, and

RotR and Stuff

Done with finals. Pretty happy about my grades. But this also means that I have time again.     Going to start up work on the RotR Game, I need to finish the Alamo. I might put in some placeholder NPCs, but I think I'll release a short (emphasis on short) demo afterwards.   Debating on whether or not to allow the demo to include Cerulean City and/or Pokemon.

Rollerskates

So, as a "reward" for basically making it through PE this semester, the week before spring break is going to be spent rollerskating. It sounded great at the time but very quickly I learned that I cannot skate for my life.   Seriously, if I had a pair of skates glued to my feet and I had to flee from a collapsing bridge, I would probably try to get away, fall to the ground, then fall with the bridge.     I must've fallen five times or so. Three of those were consecutive, from me trying to get bac
