Had a car accident on Thanksgiving day while heading home from college. There was a lot of traffic on the freeway, so the car (Scion TC) in front of me came to a slow stop. Woke up earlier than usual to help build a house through the Pomona Valley Habitat for Humanity. About 20 students and staff members from my college showed up to volunteer. Though the house was already built, the home needed painting done. Today, I attended a Day of the Dead celebration at my university. There was a lot of drum beating, so it was pretty easy to find the event. When I arrived, there was a crowd watching some traditionally-dressed up individuals dance to the beat of the drums. The people's dresses were very traditional; some had elaborate headgear while others wore black-and-white body paint on their faces, to signify the dead. OMG So I have a desk up against the wall, but not completely because there is something nailed to the wall that prevents my desk from hitting the wall. To all the bronies (and really everyone), please check your signature file sizes. Many of your banners exceed the 100 KB limit that BZPower has set. I have already found some that are 300-400 KB. It's already bad enough that I have a slow connection. Loading huge file sizes is worse.

It's ridiculously easy to find signatures and avatars that, when combined, exceed 100 KB. That's a no-no on BZP. The Official My Little Pony Topic is main hub for these delicious images. So far I have seen about 15 or so people violate this rule. Please check your avatar and signature file sizes, as well as your signature height and width. It will do more good than harm.

I have been following Naruto (the manga) for quite a while now, and this week's chapter was rather shocking. Tobi has always claimed that he is Madara Uchiha, that he wishes to regain his former Mangekyou Sharingan powers, that he let Hashirama Senju win at the Valley of the End. I hope that the plans to modify the word filter and the link-to-other-forums policy haven't fallen through. Will they be implemented in the near future now that the BZPower Forums are back up and running? It sounds like the word filter is much easier to change than coding a warning message asking are you sure you want to leave the forums.
New forum, new beginning. We can wipe the slate clean and start anew. This I like. It's going to take some time to get used to the changes around here. I got only one question though. I installed Bioshock 2 on my PC, added my Windows LIVE information, and tried updating something related to the Windows LIVE. After that, I tried playing the game but it continues asking to update LIVE. This is madness. I want to play Bioshock 2.
Tells me to exit the game so it can resume updating; did that twice but the update disappears. Anyone have this problem before?
