The doom I sought to avert has come upon me; my philosophy teacher assigned us readings from Richard Dawkins. Here's hoping I don't throw up halfway through them. First and foremost, I'm beginning to post an epic I've been working on sporadically for the last few years. The prologue isn't that exciting, but I promise that it gets better! Oh, hey, I just realized that Testing Conflict is in fifth place. If it gets five votes before TPTI or Lev get one, I'll get third place. Not that that's going to happen really, though. It should be interesting seeing the competition as the deadline gets closer. As to real life, I'm currently feeling pretty jubilant, despite the fact that my sister is moving back in next week; after her stormy exit, I am not looking forwards to having her in the same house again. Fifty-six pages of writing on one story, probably closer to fifty when you cut out parts that are in mid edit. This has got to be my all time record. The annoying thing is that I've pretty much ditched my first draft, wasting 26K words.
Today I had an interview with the vocations director of my diocese. It went very well, only now I have like a 12 page application that includes writing a short autobiography, and an essay that i need to write. On other fronts, I figure I might as well announce this fact: I'm leaving BZP come next week. Not permanently, but at least for a week, and after I return, I probably won't be on much at all.
