EDIT: Bumping to make it easier to find for those involved in the conversation in the comments.
WARNING! May cause pain to your brain!
I posted this in Nukora's blog, and it's one of my favorite paradoxes.
You go back in time 60 years and find yourself at a train station. You're marveling at all the things that you see when a woman bumps into you. She says "excuse me", etc., and pretty soon, you're having a nice conversation with her. You talk and talk and talk, when the woman gasps
So I'm a senior now, which feels rather interesting; knowing that a year from now, I'll be in college rather than high school. Most of my classmates are making it a bigger deal than I think it is. So far, the only change from previous years is that we now have our own special "senior" parking lot that's closer to the school than the other parking lots. We have a few new teachers this year too, and I like them quite a bit. Our new government teacher is a very enthusiastic and energetic person
I'm at camp again, same campgrounds, different camp, and this time, I'm on the staff. I'm a part of their security force, mainly nightwatch. At the moment, I'm watching the moniters of several security cameras throughout the campgrounds. Strangely enough, this work is actually rather enjoyable.

Remember that GarageBand song I told you about a few days ago? I've got a good chunk of it done, and I've uploaded the WIP to the internet. Listen to it and let me know what you think!
Apocalypse
The song is written mainly in minor tonality and has a great blend of beautiful melody and hard rhythm that produced an apocalyptic sound (hence the name).
Every note is 100% custom.
It's been a while since I've posted something here in my blog.
I've been out a lot, taking advantage of summer vacation; the weather's been great here. I've been spending a lot of time on Platinum as well, preparing for some stuff that's going to be going on soon that involves the game. Can't quite talk about it here yet. Also, on that same note, I've been designing and building a new website for this "Platinum" stuff.
Finally, I'm pretty sure my PMship runs out very, very soon, and at
I received this today, and I thought it'd be good of me to share. Quite cool, too.
1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to go out to eat (more than 1 but less than 10).
2. Multiply this number by 2.
3. Add 5.
4. Multiply it by 50.
5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1758, and if you haven't, add 1757.
6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born.
Now you should have a three digit number...
The first digit of
I've been cleaning my room lately, and found a really cool picture in a really cool picture frame on my desk. The picture was taken in mid-May of 2005, at Epcot Center. One of the theme parks at Disney World in Orlando. The picture has me in it, and as most pictures of people on BZPower, my face is hidden... and by a much nicer one I might add.
Me at Mission: Space in Florida.
That was the best week of my life. Oh well, memories are all that matter.
Welcome to the Pearl Showcase!
The central theme of this blog involves Pearl drumsets and accessories (I am a percussionist/drummer, and Pearl is my favorite brand). The category images are based off of the discography of the band "Newsboys", and entries pertaining to the contest will be based on many different musically related things. Also, notice the header and footer images and font color of this entry. All entries in this blog that are meant to be a part of the Pimp My Blog contest wi
On a four-wheeler yesterday at a friends house. I've been on faster four-wheelers, but this was while I was going uphill. I had more fun than I've had in a long time. This friend of mine lives on a farm with land spanning about 4 miles by 8 miles. Lots and lots of room to move around on. When we finished, we went inside and played Halo 3. If all goes according to plan, we'll be doing the same thing tomorrow as well.

It seems like a good idea, so I'll help all of you win MOCotW by telling you many of the things I'm looking for when I pick am MOC of the Week winner. These are in no particular order.
1. Custom - The more custom your creation is, the better. Custom MOCs really show the skill of the MOCer. Still, you have to make the customness work. A custom MOC that doesn't look the greatest will lose to a non-custom MOC that looks awesome.
2. Name - Yep, as small as it may seem, a good name is act
Each month will be listed in this entry one after the other, and will be updated once a day until complete. Also note that all times are central time, so adjust accordingly.
January 2008
Relatively regular events:
4th - Quadrantid meteor shower reaches it's highest rate of meteors per hour
5th - Moon passes just south (7 degrees) of Venus at midnight (night of 4th, morning of 5th) - Moon passes even closer (0.5 degrees) to Antares at 8 PM.
6th - Venus passes 6 degrees north of Antare
Poor, poor banner shop. Oh well, it was quite fun while it lasted. I'd like to open another shop in CoT sometime soon, possibly one with templates for backgrounds and text that you can choose. It would make my job as a shop owner much easier, and I'd be able to work on banners, etc. more often. I will still, however take the occasional personal request, as I really do enjoy making banners.
Also, should my signoff be "The Argetlam", or "Argy"?

And for good!
A very wonderful person purchased another PMship for me, a lifetime one, no less, and I am incredibly grateful for it! Not sure if he/she want his/her name mentioned here, so I'll wait with naming who it was until I know for sure.
Anyway, I'm glad to have my blog back, especially since it's a lot sooner than I was expecting. Completely unexpected, in fact.
It snowed yesterday. Yeah, June 6, 2009, and it snowed yesterday morning. I believe they said it was the first tim
Comet Hale-Bopp in March of 1997? It was one of the biggest, brightest comets in the history of Earth. I read about it the other day, something about it still being partially visible. Turns out that it's just past Pluto's orbit right now, and is only visible with large telescopes. Anyway, I remember going up to the school one night with my Dad for a basketball game, and Comet Hale-Bopp was high in the southern sky. I haven't seen a comet like that since.

Well... here it is. The Blog you probably haven't been waiting for: Blog #8472 I don't know too much about blogging, so if you happen to read this blog and have any suggestions, feel free to comment or PM me about it. I shall try to update this blog as much as possible, and I'd like to have regular "articles" of some sort too. Possible "articles" could be things like Astronomy (I like Astronomy); little unofficial reviews of new BIONICLE sets; and other random statements, facts, etc. Hope y
Hey all, I've been out of town since Thursday morning at a "camp" with very little internet access. It's been insufficient for my iPod to correctly connect with, and the computers at the grounds are both out of working condition. I'll be back home tomorrow in the afternoon, and then I'll be back on BZP with my more regular schedule.

I was just listening to the radio, and on KFYR 550 AM, they have a little hour long segment called "What's on your mind?" So, I'm gonna do the same thing here in my blog: What's on your mind?
Our telecommunications provider is repairing the collective damage to their lines from our winter, and as such, we've been without phones and internet for at least the past 24 hours. Luckily, our school seems to have implemented a backup provider, so there's still some internet access at school (where I am now). I'm not sure how long I'll be without internet at home, so for however long that is, I won't be able to access BZP at all from there. Also, as such, that means no Hunters or online Br
How many of you would like an entire rundown of all the major celestial events of 2008?
Please comment even if you're only slightly interested so I can know how many people would view it.
I decided on a central theme for my blog in the Pimp My Blog contest, and I've pretty much finished making images for it. Now I'm deciding on some of the content that'll be needed throughout The Observatory (which shall be renamed when the new theme is put into place). The best part is that I'm really enjoying this and really getting into it.
