Long ago I used to think that I wasn't particularly funny. Then people started saying I was, both on the webs but more so in real life. And then I started believing them? And then I actually started to try being funny. And maybe that made me funnier to be around, but looking at how I am now, did it really? I don't think so. Anyway, the upshot is that I don't think I'm all that funny. I'm also starting to question if I even have a good sense of humour, which I've believed I've had all my life.
So I was looking at Xaeraz's entry about scary fandoms, particularly what dotcom was talking about how the word "Homestucks" is the worst thing ever, and it got me thinking. They're all pretty dumb, aren't they? Bronies, Trekkies, I can't think of any more. But all those names for different fandoms are pretty silly. And if there was one for us BIONICLE fans (past and present), it would be so unbelievably stupid. So yeah, an observation. I guess BZPers would count, but that's pretty silly too.

So, best typo I've seen in a long time. Looking at a transcript of conversation between two people, one from a 'richer' suburb and one from from a 'poorer' suburb. This is while following an audio recording of the conversation as well. At this point, the one from the 'richer' suburb asks are there many ethnics in [poorer suburb]? And the other one says "I don't think there are many ethnics around this way." Keep in mind this is Tasmania, which is clearly more anglo-saxon than any other Australia
